Creativity - 5 Minute Meditation for Kids: This mindfulness and breathing exercise is all about encouraging children to tap into their innate creativity.

We are all creative and have the ability to create beautiful things in life. To tap into our creativity, it is best to be still for a few moments, clear our minds of the clutter, and make room for the ideas brewing for what we are to create next.

Mindfulness is an important theme in 'The Paper Girls Show'. Together with "Making" and "Mistakes", they create the "3 M's of The Paper Girls Show", which serve as the series' pillars.
"Make things Mindfully – don't sweat your Mistakes", as our mantra goes!

The goal of this series is to help guide children through mindful breathing techniques, visualizations, and positive affirmations to self-soothe and use throughout the day when needed.

Our practices contain:
🧘‍♀️ Mindful breathing exercises for kids
😊 Positive affirmations for kids
🧠 Visualizations for kids

Speaker 1:

When we are in the midst of a busy day, it is important for us to allow our brain to rest for a few moments, to recharge and reset so we can continue our day with create and intelligence. Let's rest for a few moments. If you feel comfortable, close your eyes or let your gaze fall to the floor below you, let's start by taking a long, deep breath in through our nose and exhale out your mouth. Again, take a long, slow, deep breath in through your nose and exhale out your mouth. And just begin to notice how your body breathes for you. Do you breathe in and out of your nose in and out of your mouth or a combination of the two? Just notice how your body breathes for you And just watch your body breathe. Notice how it feels as air comes into your body. And as the air leaves your body And let us silently in our mind and in our throat, say the words I am creative. I am intelligent. I am creative. I am intelligent. Say these each time you breathe in and each time you breathe out, I am creative. I am intelligent. Take a long, slow, deep breath in through your nose and exhale out your mouth. Enjoy the rest of your day.
