Ignasi Fernandez Terricabras is professor of history at the Autonomous University in Barcelona, Spain. He was educated in Spain and France. The conversation revolves around questions of historian's formation in Spain and abroad, the importance of internationalisation of science, mastering of foreign languages and personal reflections.
