Speaker 1:

Hello and welcome back to Living the Way of Mastery. I'm Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend and fellow student. And today we complete Lesson 14, the Wise Use of Time, section 3, an Exercise to Develop your Awareness. And we will pick up at the end of paragraph 25, where Jeshua continues. 25, where Jeshua continues Beloved friends, heed well what was shared, at times in a very subtle way, in this lesson.

Speaker 1:

We would highly in italics, highly suggest that you read this lesson several times, in different environments, at different times, perhaps at three in the morning, perhaps at midnight, and when your spring comes to warm the earth again, take the time to find a small hill where you can gaze at the stars and perhaps abide with them differently. So Jeshua is just inviting us to come back to this lesson over and, over and over again. He's done this at other times throughout the, the text and this teaching, which is it's not a race, it's not about getting through the material. Each word, each phrase holds gifts for us, and he says, sometimes in very subtle ways you may be reading this for the third, fourth, fifth time, or listening for the fifth time, and here just one word slightly different and that can shift your entire perspective. It can open up a new insight. So take the time and in different environments, in different times, because, again, we are constantly continuing. Just tilting your head, one degree changes your perspective and changes your entire experience and changes the world for you. Just tilting your head, you have a slightly different perspective, like that's creation. To pick up these, this teaching of this lesson, to to use time wisely, to. I do not know what a single thing is or is for, and I'm going to open to the mystery that my sole purpose is to extend my treasure. That's the only reason I exist.

Speaker 1:

And we may experience that differently at midnight or three in the morning, or outside on a park bench, or the first warmth of springtime. Right now, when I'm reading this, I live in Asheville, north Carolina, in the mountains, and it's just starting to get cooler in the morning. It's September 11th and the mornings are starting to get cooler where I need a hoodie, but then the day warms up and it's in the 70s and then leaves are just starting to change Beautiful. This is my favorite time of year. So it's like, wherever you are, whatever season it is in nature or whatever season it is in your life, you may have read this lesson the first time 10 years ago in a different chapter of your life, or even one year ago in a different chapter of your life.

Speaker 1:

So coming back and being open to new perspectives, and again, for me at least, in the way of mastery, when Jeshua and the lineage say we highly suggest that you read this lesson several times. All right, of course, I'm going to listen and read it several times, I want to get the most out of this. And he says abide with the stars differently when you gaze at them. Again, he's going back to the exercise that he did when he was a young boy, given to him by the Essenes See and experience and abide with them differently, with the mystery of them which leads to that. You are mystery and it's all mystery. And you know this was challenging for me.

Speaker 1:

Last night One of my sons was pretty sick and I was scared. I was scared, to be honest with you, and I recognize that I was scared. I recognize that I was scared, to be honest with you, and I recognize that I was scared. I recognize that I was in fear. I did my best to bring my awareness back to the moment, back to the presence, just opening my heart to love, trusting, surrendering, knowing him rightly, knowing the situation rightly. Part of me as his parent and you know, seemingly having this human experience was scared that he was, that he was sick, and it wasn't just like a cold, it was, it was much more than that.

Speaker 1:

So, but our daily life is our ashram and everything that seems to happen in our life is a part of our curriculum, is happening not to us, for us and really from us, and it's it's it's for our learning and our growth, and for him too, and it's the web of relationship. I mean, if it's my son, of course I'm going to be impacted by it and it's also his lesson as well. So those are the ones, those are the kinds of lessons that at least you know a person can't ignore. You know you can turn off the news and ignore those lessons of how it triggers you and what's reflecting back to you, but the ones where it's your own child and they're really suffering and struggling, that's, that's tough, and that's where we put this into practice the best that we can. So Jeshua continues.

Speaker 1:

He says review this lesson when you're feeling harried or stressed. Look at all of the different sets of circumstances that you have believed have the power to limit your choice or distract your energy. Yes, when you're stressed or worried or running about in the busy, come back to this teaching to use time wisely to see that everything is about your sole purpose, your singular purpose and your S-O-U-L, your sole purpose is to be the presence of love. Be the presence of love. Now, your ego doesn't like that. Your ego is like well, we need to pay the bills, or we need to get our needs met here, or we're being taken advantage of over here. How are we supposed to be loved when these things are more pressing? And this is where the surrender and the faith and the commitment comes in. This is where seeking first the kingdom and all these other things will be added unto you. So, yes, it's hard, and let's just say it's hard from the perception of the ego To the soul. It's very easy. It's just a choice for love and it's all love. So it's like your effortless, natural way of being. To the ego, it feels like death, it feels like it's very threatening. So we can acknowledge that.

Speaker 1:

Look at all the different sets of circumstances that you have believed have the power to limit your choice or distract your energy. So for me, it was last night at three in the morning, when my son is saying I'm scared, dad, and there's a part of me that gets triggered oh my God, he's scared. That makes me more scared, and then I get into fear mode and he's fine now. He moved through whatever he needed to move through last night, and in full transparency if my wife ever listens to this, uh, she, you know her, her, her consciousness, uh, her, her knowing, definitely helped both of us through that night, through last night, my son and me. So I don't want to seem like it was all me, it was definitely her perspective, her holding, the knowing, her faith that also really supported me, really supported me.

Speaker 1:

But just look at where you believe that a circumstance, a health condition which is one of the hardest ones because it feels so close to you, it feels like it is you in the body a financial circumstance, a relationship circumstance, whatever kind of circumstance that you believe has power to limit your choice to choose love that I have to relate to it in one way or distract your energy so busy putting out fires that you forget that the universe is an inside out universe, that we choose our perspective, we choose the place to see and to come from, which then creates our experience of whatever's happening. Things are just happening, all events are neutral, but no thought about it is neutral. So let us choose with intention, let us choose wisely. Jeshua continues read this lesson in those circumstances when you are sad, when you are lonely, when you are bothered. When you are sad, when you are lonely, when you are bothered, when the room is filled with too many friends. Take it and read it sitting on a park bench or on the benches in the great malls where the many beings come to worship their god of quote stuff and exchange their gold coins for shopping. Shop instead for a new quality of awareness, a new way of awareness, a new way of being, that which penetrates what you believe you are seeing and reveals to you the perfect harmony of the kingdom, the presence of the love of God. Beautiful paragraph.

Speaker 1:

Come back to this teaching. Come back Again. It's not the words, it's the energy underneath. The words are just symbols upon symbols. I think a course of miracles calls them. There's a frequency and a vibration of this message, of this text, of this teaching, that that that speaks directly to the heart. So come back to it in many different situations and instead of shopping for new stuff. Shop for a new quality of awareness, a new perspective, a new quality of perspective. There's many awarenesses that you can have. There's many perspectives that you can hold and so, jesh, none are better or worse. It's just the quality of something. We're the ones who judge better or worse. It's just the quality of something. We're the ones who judge better or worse, but it's all just quality. It's just like music. You can hear music and be like, oh, I think that stinks. And somebody else says I think can objectively recognize mastery in music. A Mozart compared to somebody just starting out playing something, for the learning how to compose or to make music, the quality is different. So we're being invited for, to shop for, to, to check out and choose, maybe a new perspective, a new awareness, a new quality of awareness and a new way of being.

Speaker 1:

That is not of the world my kingdom is not of the world To see through the trappings of this dimension and modern society and what we're told that we need. I just did my five minutes of meditating as a Christ and this image came forward of Our name. You know I was thinking yesterday about royalty. What I said in yesterday's episode about royalty just believe that they're God anointed because they were told, somebody told them you're God anointed and they believed it. And so it's like we're born and our parents, these people, these beings give us a name and everybody calls that name, and then we're like, oh, I am that name, I am Jason Amoroso, that's my name, that's who I am. But of course we're not that, if you took away the name, you're just. You're just you. You're just this thing that's been birthed into this place, been birthed into this place.

Speaker 1:

When we start to remove the labels of things and we can acknowledge the humility of, I do not really know what a single thing is or is, for I just experienced these labels, these names that other people have made up and we've kind of somewhat agreed on what they mean. But we all have a different experience of what they mean. Like Jeshua says in a different lesson, you know, when you say tree, your experience of a tree is unique to you. Even though we both think we're talking about the same thing, all the relationships and connections with tree are present in when you say and think about tree versus me. So when you take all these labels, you take all these things away. It's just is, you just are. It is mystery.

Speaker 1:

And can we reside in that mystery and open up to and see what's present, what comes forward, where we're led and guided to in the mystery of love? Where we're led and guided to in the mystery of love, jeshua, final paragraph of this section no one in italics, no one, will ever make this journey for you. No one you see or no one with whom you live will ever make the journey to God for you in italics. For you, no one can do it. So get clear about your priorities and seek first the kingdom Above all. Know that you are not alone. We are indeed with you always. I love you. Peace, then, be unto you always. Amen, beautiful. This is again reiterating a message from many other sections of the way, which is no one can do it for you and no one wants to do it for you. Now, jeshua is there right next to you, the lineage is there right next to you. The Holy Spirit, everything, is there, loving you, but is not going to do it for you, because that's your gift to claim. It's your gift to claim.

Speaker 1:

I remember one passage Jeshua says I'll carry you, I'll be right there with you, but at some point you're going to say put me down, I got this, I can do it. I know who I am. How beautiful is that? It comes down to us making the decision for ourselves. That's the most empowering that I know. That's the most empowering. You got this. I'm not going to do it for you. I love you that much that I know that's the most empowering. You got this. I'm not going to do it for you. I love you that much that I'm going to let you suffer through it, because I know you're going to learn through your suffering. I know you're going to at some point hit rock bottom, where you're going to choose to surrender and see a different way. There must be another way. I can see this. And then you're going to come to it under your power and your choice, and that's so much more rewarding than someone doing it for you just so you can get out of misery or feeling uncomfortable. This teaching is so empowering. No one will ever make the journey for you. No one with whom you live or no one who you see will ever make the journey to God for you.

Speaker 1:

So get clear on your priorities. And Jeshua says in Lesson 13, the beginning of the way of transformation, he's like we're not going to waste more time, we're going to cut right to the chase. We're going to be more direct here in our teachings. Get clear about your priorities, get clear about what you want. Don't say you want one thing God, spirit, love, peace. Don't say you want that but then not make the time for it. Like, let's get committed, let's put in the time, let's be serious in a way, of course, playful God above all things playfully, but let's make the commitment, let's go for it. It's worth it, you're worth it. Let's get clear about our priorities, seeking first the kingdom. It's tough, it's tough, it's tough. Let's just acknowledge that and get, get on to work, get to work, get to play, commit.

Speaker 1:

You see everything in your life today. Every experience you have is an opportunity to be the presence of love, to see things differently, every single thing, and know that you're not alone. You're not not alone. I'm with you on the journey. The lineage is with you on the journey Angels, guides, loved ones on the journey with you. So thanks for listening. This concludes Lesson 14.
