Hello and welcome back to Living the Way of Mastery. I'm Jason Amoroso, your guide and friend and fellow student. And today we continue with Lesson 16, the Birth of Egoic Consciousness, section 5. We get to talk about the creation of the physical universe. Love this lesson.
Speaker 1:Storytime by Jeshua Learning more about the origin of everything. And let's dive in. He continues. And, by the way, these section headings, if you read in the introduction of the way of mastery at least my version, because there's a couple different versions uh, were just added in after from the original talk. So this was not a book written, these were talks that were then transcribed and turned into the text. So they just added in these section headings for, I guess, ease of navigation and organization.
Speaker 1:So Jeshua continues in this multidimensionality, which is still pervaded and is as light itself, which is still pervaded and is as light itself. Condensation continues and here your scientists begin to tap into it so you can see how many steps removed they are. But here light begins to condense into the particle of matter. Again, the explosion occurs as the one basic atom A-T-O-M or atom A-D-A-M, explodes in the Big Bang and the multitude of bodies, of planetary bodies, including your central sun, of your tiny little universe is birthed. So we are. Jeshua is letting us know that our scientists, what they think is the origin of the universe, is not really the origin of creation. As we're seeing, this is just where they are beginning to have an idea of where everything in the physical dimension started from. But it's all light. We know that it's all light here. Light begins to condense into the particle of matter. That matter is an energy form and it is a slower vibration that condenses into a physical. But when we wake up we don't think about this. We don't think about what Einstein said E equals MC squared. We don't think that the solid desk that I'm looking at or the solid what we think is solid chair that I'm sitting on is actually just energy vibrating at a certain frequency. If we did, our minds would be blown. If we did and what we're learning from quantum physics and what the mystics have told us from the beginning of mystics sharing the truth we would understand and wake up and our minds would be blown that everything is energy, that consciousness influences energy, that our consciousness influences our environment. This is mind-blowing stuff. We know now in the human realm that when something is not observed in quantum physics it is a wave, but the minute it's observed it becomes a particle, it comes into a different expression and it is influenced by the person observing it. So Jeshua is saying here that light begins to condense into the particle of matter and again the explosion occurs as the one basic atom, atom or adam implying talking obviously about adam and eve, the biblical story, the garden of eden, the origin the one basic atom explodes in the big bang and the multitude of bodies, of, of planetary bodies, including your central sun, of your tiny little universe, is birthed. The vast, infinite, ever-expanding universe. And I just had to.
Speaker 1:I went to chat GPT and I asked chat GPT how many universes in solar systems are there? And it says current scientific understanding is based on a single observable universe which spans about 93 billion light years in diameter. And I think the key phrase there are, there's universes you know not, maybe not obvious, obvious to me. There's universes and dimensions that we can't observe with our current technology. It is so mind-bogglingly infinite. So ChatGPT goes on to talk about solar systems, that our galaxy, the Milky Way, contains 100 to 400 billion stars and many of these stars are thought to host planetary systems, making them solar systems. This is insane, as of now, over 5,500 exoplanets. This is insane. As of now, over 5,500 exoplanets, planets outside our solar system, have been confirmed in 4,000-plus star systems across the observable universe the observable universe with an estimated 2 trillion galaxies. There could be septillions of solar systems. So, basically, it's beyond comprehension of the brain, at least my brain. It is so vast, so infinite, and here we are thinking that we're the only life in the universe. I mean, that's just, it's comical.
Speaker 1:So, anyways, that from this one thought right, because again we have to trace it back to thought, everything is thought Consciousness. So from this one idea, this one thought, the tiny mad idea of separation, the physical universe was birthed. That's amazing. He continues. The physical universe of which you are a part as a human being is vast beyond comprehension. Yet it is as a tiny speck of dust, it is as a tiny speck of light floating seemingly freely, like a tiny drop of milk that seems to have separated itself from the body of milk and is unaware of the multi-dimensionality of radiant light and spirit and God in which it floats, out of which it has been given its very existence. You are therefore not outside of spirit. You are held lovingly, your whole physical dimension in the center of spirit. You are held lovingly, your whole physical dimension in the center of spirit.
Speaker 1:Translation it's all God, it's all the same substance expressed infinitely. There is no limit. We think limitedly. There is zero limit on what God can create, on what can be created out of God. The all that is, this energy, this love, this consciousness, it's all held, even the belief in separation, even in the belief in evil, darkness, death, destruction, whatever you think is negative, that is held within God, it's all within God. That's the tiny mad idea that something can be destroyed, that something can be corrupted, that something can be lacking, because anything in existence is of the one essence, the one substance. And this is the teaching that Jeshua is inviting us into, to see through, to see through the illusion of separation.
Speaker 1:Get behind me, satan. And again, I'm not a biblical scholar. I only know these little lines and then I interpret them based on what I think they fit into A Course in Miracles and the Way of Mastery. So I'm just acknowledging that. Get behind these, satan is. I'm seeing through the thought that's coming into my mind that you can do any harm. You have no power here. Only God has power. So it is my commitment to seeing rightly. It is my commitment to remembering the truth when my eyes might be showing me evil, death, destruction, hatred. My heart interprets that as I'm seeing through it, there is only God. So, however, I'm interpreting something that I'm experiencing as negative. It's only my interpretation, because we know all events are neutral. So it's my perspective that I'm holding.
Speaker 1:We could have an infinite number of perspectives. If you put something in the middle of a room and you stand in one corner, you have one perspective. If you stand in a different corner, you have a different perspective. If you stand in the same corner but you just turn your head slightly to a different degree, you have a different perspective. That's what Jeshua says when he says any single thought is creative, you are ceaselessly creating, and he says this in the Way of Mystery. You turn your head just slightly, you're looking from a different perspective. So there's an infinite number of perspectives that we can hold, which create in some way a new experience each time, even if very, very slightly different. And it's all God, it's all of the same substance, it's all of one love, even if it appears that it's not. That's what this section is really saying. So he says the physical I'm going to read it again the physical universe of which you're a part of as a human being and this is your perspective of being a human being, your perspective of feeling or thinking you are in some way, even very subtly, separate.
Speaker 1:He says in the previous section even the angels and some very subtle level feel like they're separate. It is a tiny speck of dust, it is as a tiny speck of light floating seemingly freely, like a tiny drop of milk that seems to have separated itself from the body of milk. It just seems that way, but it's not. It seems like you're separate, but you're not. This is the good news. This is what we are being invited to consider, to open up to, to meditate on, to think, or rather contemplate in, not from the brain and the intellect, but from the heart. It's a tiny speck of light and it's unaware of the multi-dimensionality of radiant light, capital L and spirit, capital S and God in which it floats. It's all held in God, it's all held in the oneness out of which everything has its existence. You are therefore not outside of spirit.
Speaker 1:So if you are feeling so alone right now, so in the dark night of the ego, so depressed, so down, so separate, so forgotten by God. We're acknowledging that you're having that experience and I would say it's a very important experience for your awakening process and to not get out of it, to not judge it, but to embrace. Love embraces all things, even the thought of depression, even the thought of suicide, even the thought of I don't deserve to exist, all of it. Love embraces all things. Can you love yourself as you're moving through a suicidal experience? Can you love yourself as you're moving through a hopeless experience? Then things become very simple. It's all about love, kindness, compassion, the children of love, so to speak. Can you embrace right where you are with love, not your situation. You Can you embrace you with love as you're moving through whatever you're moving through, because in time all things are temporary. I say this all the time in our Revelation Breathwork classes.
Speaker 1:Right now, what you're moving through right now is a chapter of your hero's journey. It's a chapter. Think of your human life as a book with different chapters. Whatever you're moving through right now, maybe it's a chapter of triumph and reaping of the rewards of whatever seeds you've sown in the past. Maybe you're moving through something really challenging that your brain can't make sense of. It's so hard.
Speaker 1:It's a chapter, and it's an important chapter because every chapter of your life serves a purpose. Every chapter in a book serves a purpose, otherwise the author hopefully a good author wouldn't even include it in the story. It doesn't have a place in the story. Every chapter serves a purpose, and so we in the way of mastery want to use time wisely and use the chapter that we're in to be curious, not judgmental, to look with innocence and curiosity about what chapter am I in right now, what's happening in my life and how am I relating to it? How am I choosing to see it? What stories am I choosing to tell about the neutral events that are happening in my life? And so we're using it. We're using time wisely, or at least that's what we're being invited into and that's what a group like Living the Way of Mastery is about to help us use time wisely to have that accountability, that community. Use time wisely to have that accountability, that community.
Speaker 1:And so it's a chapter, but it's also just a chapter, meaning this too shall pass. There's another chapter and another chapter, and in our experience, in our existence, the story never ends. It's just chapter after chapter after chapter. So have hope, know that, whatever chapter you're moving through, as hard as it may be it is and you're going to use it, it is still only a chapter.
Speaker 1:I think about this for me I don't know about anyone listening, but I think about like if I was suicidal and I did end my physical life, my life would not cease to exist. I would still have awareness and consciousness, just be in a different dimension, just have. But my consciousness hasn't necessarily shifted. So then, why not move through what I'm moving through now in this physical dimension? I'm going to have to quote unquote, deal with it somewhere in some way. So let's do it now, and I'm not alone in doing that. I have support, I have guidance, I have love, even if it feels like, even if it seems like I don't Again, that's why community and support is so important. You are held lovingly, your whole physical dimension, in the center of spirit.
Speaker 1:We need these reminders, especially when it seems like we're not held, like we've been abandoned by God. That's our own abandonment. God has never abandoned us. We, in a way, we have abandoned ourselves, and it projects out to my. We project that self-abandonment out into our experience. And maybe it's our parents that abandoned us, maybe it's our spouse, our lover, our best friend that has abandoned us. Maybe it's our culture that's abandoned us. I mean, in the world of cancel culture, it can feel like we've been abandoned when we just speak our mind and then we get canceled. I've been abandoned by the people who said they were my friends or who supported me, and then I said I voted for Biden or Trump and now I've been abandoned. But that's if we feel abandoned. It's a neutral event. It's because there's something inside of us, a belief, a subconsciously held thought or belief that we valued. That then creates the experience. It projects out and creates the experience of abandonment.
Speaker 1:So Jeshua continues, as this condensation continues. What you have been told to call life in quotes begins. Conditions are set up, emerging from what? Pure chance? Hardly. It emerges out of the pure potentiality, the power and the perfect intelligence to create, and the words to create are in italics for emphasis, because this is what what we call God is. It is pure love, pure power, pure intelligence, and it creates. That's the nature of God to extend itself ceaselessly. And that is, this is what you are made in. The image and likeness of you are an individuated expression of this energy. So Jeshua is saying, as this condensation, as what is going from energy and consciousness into slowing down its vibration, into form.
Speaker 1:What you have been told to call life, and what this phrase is talking about is how limited we see life. We see life as us, as nature, as things we deem that are alive. Like some people probably would say, a rock is not alive, but a rock has very much a vibration, a frequency. Things that are inanimate have a frequency, are part of life, but we have such a limited definition of life. So he says what you have been told to call life and clearly, from just this lesson we're learning, there's so much more.
Speaker 1:Conditions are set up. It's not random. It's not random, it's not chance. It's divine design from an intelligence and a power that our brain cannot comprehend. It's like, as intelligent as you might be, you're not controlling how your heart beats, how your body processes the digestive, digestive system in your body, processing food. You might know how because you're stuck, you've studied biology or you're studying sciences, but, like there's a, there's a much more powerful intelligence that is doing trillions of processes in your body that you're not aware of. That you're not controlling. And yet we think we try and control everything in our life, the illusion of control. So this little paragraph really again is emphasizing there's so much more to life than what we consider life, and none of it's random, none of it's by chance, it's all by divine design. So relax a little bit, trust your life a little bit. Trust your path, trust your higher self and your soul a little bit. Stop trying to control everything, stop trying to, in a way, intellectually understand everything so that you feel safe, you're safe. Some of it is mystery, as Jeshua says over and over and over again, and if he's calling it a mystery, it's a mystery to him too, because what we might call mystery and he knows he's revealing to us in this teaching is mystery.
Speaker 1:So enjoy the ride. When you get on a roller coaster, for the most part you know that you're going to be safe. You know that you're going to start the ride. It's going to be an amazing ride. You might do some loop-de-loops, you're going to be thrilled, it's going to be fun and you're going to return safely and get off and that was a fun ride. Think of your life like that. Enjoy the ride. There's going to be some intentional scary moments that are thrilling. There's going to be maybe some boring parts, parts where you're in anticipation as you climb before you descend, like, enjoy the ride a little bit, stop trying to control it. It's like being on a roller coaster with you trying to control every little twist and turn, every loop, every inch of the track. It's already there, have fun. It's already there, have fun. Oh, I like that analogy.
Speaker 1:And Jeshua continues, although now that creativity is expressing itself more and more out of fear, not out of pure joy. It is like taking a note of a flute and muffling it slightly so that it has a different quality, yet it is still pure energy. For what can fear be but energy? Just as love is energy, compassion is energy, sadness is energy, anger is energy. This is a really important paragraph on many levels, because Jeshua is saying in this creative process, the creativity is expressing itself more and more from the tiny mad idea of separation that's so subtle, as Jeshua has been telling us in this passage, that it's creating more of itself out of fear, not out of pure joy. But God only creates out of pure joy, and this is a very small, seemingly separate aspect of God that thinks it's separate, that then is bursting into an infinite number of seemingly separate shards of itself. Yet still, god, it's still pure energy, because that is all there is. There is only pure energy, consciousness, love that extends itself ceaselessly in an infinite number of ways, in an infinite dimensions. There is no limit to itself. That's why anything is possible in god. There, god does not limit itself. Even the tiny mad idea of separation, that I could be separate from myself, that's crazy. But I can't limit myself. So let's see what that experience is like.
Speaker 1:What can fear be?
Speaker 1:But energy? Fear is just energy. Everything is energy, everything is energy, so Everything is energy. So what is there to be afraid of? And it's one energy. Just as love is energy, compassion is energy, sadness is energy and anger is energy. It is all energy, but we make it much bigger. We can turn these things into the boogeyman we can allow, we can create narratives that let these energies run and control our life. We become afraid of them, but we're afraid of an energy, and fear is an energy. So what does that mean? Jesuit continues, do you see? Fear is just an energy and nothing more. I think that's the title. Uh well, the title of this section is going to be the creation of the physical universe, but that that could be a title too. Fear is just an energy and nothing more. Write that on a sticky pad, put on your computer monitor. Fear is just an energy, nothing more. You don't need to be afraid of it. It has no power over you unless you give it power over you.
Speaker 1:In itself, jeshua says it is perfectly neutral. In italics, the energy of fear is perfectly neutral. It has a right to exist, like all energies have a right to exist, and it's all neutral, for all events are neutral, jeshua says. We've been hearing this over and over again. Of course, the ego part of us, the part of us that's so identified with the body and a separate self, hates hearing this. The part of us that's so committed and values being a victim, being helpless or powerless or weak or missing something, the part of us we all have it that is part of us that is committed to being the victim, hates hearing that all events are neutral. Well, look at the world, look at all the travesties and the devastations and the injustices. What do you mean? All events are neutral. Right, that's the ego talking, seeing from one perspective, choosing to value one perspective.
Speaker 1:And Jesher says and fear being merely a dance, or a play of energy itself, fear being merely a dance or a play of energy itself must be an entirely neutral event until something arises to perceive and experience it differently. And what is that? The birth of egoic consciousness. This is so important. Fear is just an energy, nothing more. It is perfectly neutral, for all events are neutral and fear being merely I'm reading it again, we can hear it again it's important. Fear being merely, it's merely, that's all it is. It's just a dance or a play of energy itself. But we make it this tidal wave, we give it so much strength and power over us. We're afraid of it. We're afraid of a neutral thing. Well, if it's neutral, then why would we be afraid of it? Because we're the ones giving it the power, we're the ones giving it the meaning. And then we experience that, if you can see that you can be free, you're the one making it personal to you. The second, you see, it's not personal, it's neutral, and either you can activate it or choose to not activate it. You're free. And that's a challenging thought to the part of us that is so identified with the victim that we're not powerful, that we're not the creators of our experience, that there's some force outside imposing its will or impacting us. It only impacts us if you let it. It must be an entirely neutral event until something arises to perceive and experience it differently. That's what the egoic consciousness is the belief, the investment, the valuation of the tiny mad idea of separation that somehow the impossible has happened. That's the perception that it's holding, that fear has power. That's a perception that you hold.
Speaker 1:You've all heard the anacronym fear F-E-A-R, false evidence appearing real. It appears real, but it's not real. I guess it's real in thought, it's real in imagination, but it's only real if we give it reality. So we are being in this little section titled the creation of the universe. We're really being shown that everything we think is, quote-unquote life or real. In this human experience it has its source in consciousness, in pure energy and pure potentiality, and we, we are the creators of our experience, by the perceptions that we hold, by, by the value that we give things, all events, all energies.
Speaker 1:If fear is neutral, it would, it would. You could say that then love is neutral and a party might argue with that. Wait, that doesn't make sense. Love is great, I want love. I don't want fear, I want this, I don't want. That doesn't make sense. Love is great. I want love. I don't want fear. I want this. I don't want that. What if it's all neutral? What if it's all God? But you create your experience of it based on what you want to experience by, based on the perception that you're holding oh, my dog's barking. So that's the end of our, of our episode today.
