Live with the Seasons
Live with the Seasons is all about plants, seasonal changes, indigenous traditions, and community health. During the coming year, we will release podcasts exploring how the shifts in nature might inform our daily practice, and how we can grow along with the seasons. Each episode will feature some of our friends who will share their perspectives, wisdom, and stories to help us all get by. Join us as we discuss the remarkable connections we share with the seasons as well as skill sets to help us thrive. Live with the Seasons is a collaboration of the Urban Indian Health Institute, Feed Seven Generations, and Tahoma Peak Solutions. It is hosted by Valerie Segrest and Elise Krohn and produced and edited by Maria Givens. Our music is River Spirit by Chenoa Egawa.

Tahoma Peak Solutions
Winter is a season emulating a dark and cold environment and can also provide an opportunity for rest, rejuvenation, and reflective practice. In this Late Winter podcast, we hear from June O'Brien, who encourages us to consider the practice of radical self-care through powerful storytelling and poetry. We discuss the importance of rest, the medicine of cottonwood and willow, and other teachings of the season.
