Jeff was a commander in the Kings Regiment and spent many years in Northern Ireland cheering not only the soldiers up but also the locals and children with his music and natural talents but it wasn't all fun and games and he experienced some very dark times which he explains briefly later on into the show

Jeff also spent time in prison for drunken violence where he was in the cell next door to the infamous Purple Aki when he wrote the song that then went onto become viral on YouTube many years later before he was picked up by the now late Peter Mahoney aka Wildman who brought him onto Shaun's Podcast
