Keith: Blessings Friends and Family! And Welcome back to your "We Family Radio News Break." I’m your host Keith, joined as always by my sister in Christ, Michelle.

Michelle: Blessings, family! We are so glad to have you with us. We have an incredible update today, ranging from the latest hits to the skies above!

Keith: That’s right. Let’s jump right into the music news. In the world of Gospel, we have to talk about the powerhouse that is Tasha Cobbs Leonard. She’s been making headlines not just for her incredible vocals, but for her "10 Years of Tasha" celebration, marking a decade of hits that have changed the landscape of worship. From "Break Every Chain" to her latest soul-stirring live performances, she continues to lead the way in bringing the authentic sound of the church to the global stage.

Michelle: She is such a gift! And speaking of worship that resonates globally, Elevation Worship is absolutely dominating the Contemporary Christian charts right now. Their hit song "Praise" has become an anthem in churches everywhere—it’s been sitting at number one for weeks! They recently released new live versions of their tracks that really capture the atmosphere of a room full of people seeking God. It’s more than just music; it’s a movement.

Keith: It really is! And don't sleep on the Christian Hip Hop scene! You’ve likely been hearing a lot of Forrest Frank lately. This brother is on fire! He’s been sweeping the charts with his upbeat, joyful sound that blends CHH with a fresh pop energy. His track "Good Day" has gone viral for all the right reasons, reminding everyone that we have a reason to rejoice regardless of our circumstances. He’s reaching a whole new generation with a message of hope and light. 

Michelle: Forrest Frank is absolutely taking over the charts right now, and Lecrae just dropped some fresh news about upcoming projects that are sure to keep the message of the Kingdom loud and clear in our ears. 

Keith: It’s so good to see the Word being spread through so many different sounds. 

Michelle: Amen Keith, Amen. Now, looking even further up, we have some exciting news from NASA! The Artemis 3 mission is moving forward. This is the historic mission that will return humans to the lunar surface—specifically landing near the lunar South Pole. It's a testament to the incredible wisdom and curiosity God has placed in us to explore His vast creation.

Keith: Truly amazing, Michelle. Now, shifting back to our own backyard, we need to talk about the weather. We are currently tracking severe weather moving across the Midwest. We’re talking high winds and the potential for heavy storms, so if you are in that region, please stay alert and follow your trusted local resources.

Michelle: Nationally, expect some temperature swings as we move through the week, so keep those umbrellas and jackets handy! And for our family on the coasts, we are keeping a close eye on the latest Hurricane information which includes the disturbance moving in from the Gulf Which may get a name in the coming days. While we are staying prepared, we are praying for peace, and protection, in Jesus’ Name. 

Keith: AMEN! We are Praying INDEED. 

Michelle: On a brighter note, let’s talk sports! 

Keith: Woo Hooo! (Giggle) Uh Hm, One of my favorite topics! LETS GOOOOO! The wait is finally over because the FIFA World Cup has started! The entire world is coming together for the beautiful games, and we are so excited to see the talent and sportsmanship on display on the global stage. It’s turning out to be an incredible tournament. From the Group Stage matches kicked off with the heavy hitters like Brazil, France, and Argentina debuted, the world is officially focused on the beautiful game.

Michelle: Beautiful it is, It’s going to be a month of high-stakes drama, Keith! From the opening match, where we saw the host nation take the field to set the tone. Everyone is watching to see if the underdogs can pull off those classic World Cup upsets. 

Keith: What I also love is that it really is a time when the whole world comes together, and we love to see that spirit of global community. 

Michelle: Me too, Keith, me too! Beyond FIFA, we’re also seeing some heavy hitting in the NBA as the season heats up, and baseball fans are already looking toward spring training. There is a lot to keep us on the edge of our seats! Stay tuned to your local and national sports listings.
