Transformation Tip: “ Your triggers are the fruit of a much deeper root!” Steve Chua

Concept(s)

  1. Triggers are created by significant events that leave scars, wounds, or compartments of pain, shame, insecurity, terror, panic
  2. A trigger sends a message to a memory(ies) that leaves us vulnerable and unprotected and causes us to behave in self-protective ways

    • The four F’s
  3. Triggers can cause us to act irrationally or cause us to overreact.
  4. Triggers can come from our wounded child.

We go over practical tips on how to identify trauma and how to start processing these events!

Transformation Application: Make a list of up to 3 triggers you think you might have. If you can’t think of any, ask a partner or close friend to help you identify them.
