In this week's episode, we're talking about pediatric obesity with Dr. Rinku Mehra. We'll discuss medical conditions associated pediatric obesity, as well as some suggestions to help a child achieve a healthy weight.

Dr. Rinku Mehra is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist and an obesity medicine physician. Dr. Mehra is dedicated to treating and improving the quality of life of pediatric patients with diabetes, both Type 1 and Type 2, and with concerns about weight. She founded the Mehra Clinic, a pediatric endocrinology and weight management program for children in an effort to deliver science-based medicine and personalized treatment. Dr. Mehra currently sees patients virtually in Virginia, Maryland, Iowa, and Florida and has in person appointments in Virginia and Iowa.
