Hey Stories, this episode is perfect for you to listen to on your own or with a grown up. Enjoy! Hi there. It's Avi just wanted to give you a little info about this episode. It's a very special one and I know it's only our second episode. But this one is a combination of my all time. Favorite. Book. The Los flowers of Ellis heart by Holly Ringland. And. It's also dedicated to our very special starry Steph who run status squad with me. She, um, recently decided to chase their dreams of starting a wildflower farm. And I've loved watching her achieve this. And so. I just thought, why should all the adults get the enjoyment of the lost flowers of Alice heart? When it's so magical. So I've shared some of some inspiration from that in this episode, as well as hopefully. I shared a little bit of what I can imagine. Steph is feeling when she's planting out her flower farm. So happy listening. And Steph, if you're listening with your little one, we're so proud of you and your wildflower farm. Enjoy. Hi, my name is Pearl. Sisters of stars like none other. The morning, sun cast a golden glow over the Australian landscape. Landscape. Stretching across fast fields of red earth and lush green bushes. Starry stood at the edge of her family's property to breeze carrying the sweet scent of eucalyptus and the chirps of cocoa virus. The vastness of the open land before her. Filled her with a sense of freedom. One that only this part of the world could offer her. Story had always loved everything about the stars and the galaxies, but recently she had discovered. Of it, a new passion. Wild flowers. Their colors, their shapes. The way they thrived in the rugged Australian landscape. It all. Fascinated her. So one day she decided to turn her. family's empty field into a wildflower farm. A place where beauty could bloom in every color. Imaginable. With a heart full of hope and a small pouch of seeds in her pocket. STARI began her journey. She had a dream. To grow fields of wild flowers that would stretch for as far as the eye could see creating a rainbow of pedals that would dance in the wind. But this wasn't just about growing flowers. To starry, the wildflowers represented something Deepa. They were a symbol of resilience. Of thriving in tough conditions and, uh, finding beauty in the smallest things. With H step star, his boots, crunched softly in the red dirt. And she glanced down at the little Sade pouch tied to her belt. Inside with tiny promises. Each seed waiting for the right moment to bloom. Her mom had given her the pouch as a gift one afternoon, when STARI had told her about her dream to grow flowers. They seem to have been in our family for years, her mum had explained her eyes twinkling. Your grandmother used to grow the most beautiful wild flowers right here on this land. She believed that flowers could teach us about life. About patients. Resilience. And finding beauty in the unexpected. Starry loved that ID. And from that day, she knew that this wildflower farm would be more than just a garden. It would be her own way of connecting to the land and the women who had come before her. As she walked starry thought about her. grandmother and the story she'd been told. Her grandmother had always said that wild flowers are like stars in the sky. They might seem small and fragile, but they have the power to light up an entire landscape. Started like to think of herself like that, too small, but capable of doing great things. She reached the far corner of the field, where the red earth met the towering gumtrees, and she now down to examine the soil. It was warm and soft. Perfect for planting. She pulled out his seeds, holding them carefully in the Palm of her hand and close to her eyes. She took a deep breath. Letting the sounds of nature wash over her. She could hear the soft rustle of the leaves. The Coles of distant birds. And the gentle hum of the wind. This land was alive. And she could feel its energy. Starry smiled as she began to plant the seeds one by one into the soil. Each time she covered a seed with dirt. She whispered a small hope, a wish for what this flower might become. One side was for courage, another fucking kindness, another fit creativity. She planted seeds for Lafta for friendship and for strength. With every seed, she imagined how beautiful the flowers would be when they blamed. A field full of life and color. As she worked, the sun climbed higher in the sky and starry felt a warmth, not just from the sunlight, but from within herself. There was something so magical about this process. About knowing that what she was planting now would grow into something extraordinary. It reminded her of the stars. How they too had started as tiny bits of cosmic dust before becoming the bright beacons. She loved so much. After planting the last seed, starry stood up and walked to hands on our jeans. She took a step back and looked out over the field. Right now it was just bare earth, but in her mind, she could already see the future. Waves of wild flowers stretching across the land, their pedals fluttering in the breeze. Bees buzzing, only lasing from bloom to bloom. The idea of growing something beautiful, made her feel strong. It reminded her that just like the flowers she could grow into who she was meant to be. Even if she faced challenges along the way. Wakes past. And starry cared for her little patch of earth every day. She watered it, protected it from pests and watch closely for any sign of growth. Some days, it felt like nothing was happening. The soil look the same bear and quiet. But starry remembered her grandmother's words. Patients my D. The most beautiful things. Take time. And then one morning as the sun crypt over the horizon. Starry sore. It. Tiny green sheets peeking out from the soil. Her heart leapt with excitement. She now down and gently touch the tend to sprouts, have fingers brushing over the delicate new life. It was happening. Her wad flowers were beginning to grow. As the days turned into weeks, the shoots grew taller and stronger. They're leaves, unfurling and their buds forming. And then one by one, the flowers began to bloom. Bright yellow. Wattles delicate pink. Everlastings deep purple Bush peas and vibrant blue bells. Star his field became a canvas of color each flower, more beautiful than the last. Walking through the field, starry felt an overwhelming sense of pride. These flowers has started as tiny seeds, just like her dream. And now they were blooming in all their glory, despite the tough soil and the dry conditions. They was strong, resilient, and full of life. One afternoon, a starry wandered through the field. She thought about how much he had learned from this experience. The wildflowers had taught her about patients, about nurturing her dreams and about believing in herself. They had definitely been days when she doubted whether the flowers would ever bloom. But she'd kept going. And now standing in the middle of a field full of color and life. She realized that anything was possible. If you believed in it enough. As the sun began to set casting a warm golden light over the flowers. Starry sat down in the grass and looked out over the horizon. She felt connected to the land in a way that she hadn't before. As if the flowers had helped her find a place in the world. And just like the stars that had always guided her. The flowers had shown her. the beauty of growing and blooming. Even in the most unexpected places. With a contented smile, starry closed her eyes and let the sounds of the Australian landscape surround her. The wind, we spit through the trees, the birds sang their evening songs. And her flowers swayed gently in the breeze. Did they switch her place? Her field of dreams. And just like the wild flowers. She knew that she could bloom in her own way. At her own time. Hi there starry. I hope that you enjoyed this new adventure that our story had gone on this new starry story.
