Hey ladies,

Lean in as I offer more than just words; I provide a beacon of motivation, a reminder that the strength of our spirit is unbreakable. We explore the importance of emotional restraint, the beauty in shared love, and the inevitable rise from the ashes of heartbreak. Through my verses, we validate the tears shed, celebrate the resilience within, and welcome the smiles on the horizon. I invite your thoughts, your own stories of love's labyrinth, as we build this bridge of support, lifting each other up with every shared and whispered verse.

Speaker 1:

Hey, ladies, welcome to the Single Moms United podcast, where we cannot and dare not spell United without the letter U or Y-O-U. Hey, ladies, I have something very special for you today. If you are a first-time listener, welcome. If you are a repeat listener, you already kind of know the story and the platform for this particular podcast. As I mentioned in the past, I do write poems. I call myself Maya Angelou Watered Down. I try to do that to encourage single moms to be brief and to the point, because I know do the single mom journey on your own, because it's hard, definitely invites the stress in your life Oftentimes. Just provide something very simple and brief that provides encouragement. Now, one of the things that I noticed many single moms are talking about loneliness, the relationship ended and they're trying to date and get back into the mix of things and so forth. So I thought I would put together a relationship poem. I hope you like it and, if you do, leave me some feedback on singlemomsunitedpodcastcom or, if you're on my YouTube page, leave me some comments there. Would love to hear from you because this is all about motivating you and encouraging you. All right, so here we go. I don't have any fancy name for it. If you can come up with one or would like to share that, then hey, let me know and I'll tag it to the poem. But right now it's just called Relationship Poem. So here we go.

Speaker 1:

We all know relationships are great when both parties can relate. It's a fact. Relationships are all about having each other's back. Now, the key for the relationship to succeed is recognizing and respecting each other's needs. While some of us enter the relationship hoping it's a true thing, to ultimately produce a ring. But he demonstrated he wasn't ready.

Speaker 1:

But, ladies, hold on, let's not become petty. You restraining your emotions during the long devotion is not weak, but unique. Never regret the love you shared. It showed how much you really cared. Yes, he has come and gone, don't worry. Soon you will be singing a new song. Now relax and take a deep breath. You will overcome this latest emotional test. It's okay to cry, but no, it's not because you didn't try. Don't defend a relationship that you knew was going to end. Now it will hurt for a while, but I promise you it will lead to a new smile. All right, ladies, there you have it. I hope you are encouraged and motivated by this poem. If you are, that's right. Tell another single mom, share with them. You know we have to unite and encourage each other during these times. And guess what? You're going to get through it. How do I know? I'm an older single mom and I'd say I got through it pretty well. So I hope you have a fantastic day, a great week and an exceptional month. Take care.
