THE WORD OF THE WEEK - WOW - PRESENTED BY EXHORTATION MINISTRIES
WORD OF THE WEEK -VISION - 12/7/25
DEFINITION: the act or power of sensing with the eyes; the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be.
Scriptures:
Proverbs 29:18 - Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Jeremiah 5:21 - ‘Now hear this, O foolish people without heart, Who have eyes but do not see, Who have ears but do not hear.
Acts 26:19 -20 “…I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but I openly proclaimed first to those at Damascus, then at Jerusalem and throughout the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing deeds and living lives which are consistent with repentance.

VISION
I see what you mean” is what I normally say when I understand something or someone. Many of us “see” without using our eyes.
The human eye is a marvel of biology - a testament to God’s design. So often we assume that what we see with our eyes is reality and there is nothing more to “see”. Magicians, con artists, and propagandists exploit the limitations of human sight to distort reality.
Blindness is the inability of the eyes to see. Those people blind from birth are different from those who, through circumstances, lost their sight. Those born blind never know color or light, yet they develop heightened senses of hearing, touch, and perception.
Those who lose their sight may still see spectrums of light, or dream in color, recalling images from memory, but they must choose to adapt by strengthening other senses.
Yet whether sighted or blind, true vision does not depend on the eyes, just as communication is not limited to hearing or choice limited to touch. True vision is not about the eyes—it is about the heart and spirit.
Vision is not only the ability to see, but the ability to perceive, discern, deduce, experience or witness. Vision flows from God-inspired principles—love, understanding, wisdom, knowledge, compassion, and community. And it leads to prophetic insight, purposeful planning, and accountability in service. Vision is faith in action.
What is your vision? Is your vision, “My way or the highway?” or do you feel that you lack vision?
Your condition of being visionless may be one of choice.Have you chosen to follow or ignore God?When you choose to ignore God, you deny God access to your life. In essence, you have chosen spiritual blindness.
You can see – But beware!! Just as some live without physical sight, many live without spiritual vision—though their eyes are open.
Without spiritual vision eyes are blinded by corruption, hearts beat to the tune of selfishness, mouths taste and speak mockery and lies, ears hear only self-affirming messages, and hands only help themselves, employing tools used by Satan to undermine God’s authority. And while it may seem profitable for a time, without true vision, they will perish. As Jeremiah declares: “You have eyes but do not see, ears but do not hear.”
Spiritual blindness is a choice. Yet God offers clarity to all who ask.So, my brothers and sisters, no matter your ability to see, ask God for the vision to see what good things are in store for you. Then walk in faith. Trust God, try Him by doing what He says, and then prepare yourself for the unmeasured blessings God has in store for you.
The choice is yours: You can walk in clarity or stumble in darkness.
Do you see what I mean?
