Not really a parable, but much like those headings in your bible, we don't mind getting it wrong. In this story about how to be a good manager beatings are doled like a vending machine on tilt. I would say Jesus takes leadership in His Church very seriously. Are you worthy... of a beating or worse? There's really isn't anyway to put this in a soft serve with sprinkles on top.
