Welcome to another episode with breaking news free fire right now here with the Zercher game and trash man and myself dev venture, uh, we're missing flame carvers. He's out of, out of town for the week. So this episode will be without him, but we are excited about what's going on in the free fire universe, which is B T S is coming to free fire trash.
Tell me about this collaboration. What are you saying? Trashman weren't you saying before? Like they're like your favorite band? No, I haven't, honestly, I, outside of knowing that they're a band from South Korea, I don't know much about them, but I mean, if it's anything like the last few colabs with Skylar DJ a lot, they're going to be big.
Like that's the thing when they had these artists in there, the co-labs are always. Right. Yeah. I mean, I like the most recent, right. The J Balvin was the most recent one, still a little bit of venture debt venture did not get any of that stuff. Yeah. I was thinking of the early December, late, late December, but I didn't get none of this stuff cause I was waiting around for it and it never came.
So, um, so I was, I didn't get that one. So this is what I'm excited about because I actually don't beat. I've lived some BTS music cause it edges in sometimes into EDM. I listen to electronic dance music BTS when it's K-pop vibes sometimes has some, some hits that kind of have those EDM feel, although K-pop is not EDM.
So I like some of their hands like dynamite and you know, you probably preserved her like butter, but, um, tell us, I know you're big in the music. What do you think about the BTS and the collaborative? What do I think about it? I like beets BTS is like, it's all the rage. It's all the rage. That's all everybody talks about.
There's one point they were talking about having BTS for the halftime show for the super bowl, so that didn't run their fame page. I do not run their fan page.
Where it's all everybody talks about. I know I deal with students. Okay. I deal with students on a regular basis and I've heard over the past five years as they've come up and gotten super popular, all the kids had listened to BTS. Now see thing, is it because they're more stylish than you? It is definitely that it's black.
There's no question. They are so much more styling. I don't wear any of that stuff. Okay. And I'm jealous. It's just N you probably, you probably really felt in like, with them because like little knots, X did a CoLab with him. And I know you're a big mill that sex fan. I know the area I'm from area I'm from like Billy Ray Cyrus is big cause like country and he did a crossover OBTs BTS.
They are collabing with some big superstars in the industry, especially, uh, the American superstars. And so I've heard a lot about BTS for the last probably probably three years. They really started to hit hard here in the last about three years ago, you started to get to hear about, you just mentioned.
You know that I don't even really listen to. I mean, you could have said like juice world or like sugar or like Coldplay actually Coldplay did a CoLab with PTs. You know, you could have mentioned any of those people, Megan, the stallion, you know, I'm just saying you didn't mention any of those people you met in three people.
I don't even listen to. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. David, listen, let me tell you. Maybe somebody, some on cross the road. Cause we, we have listeners across the entire globe. And so I don't know that everyone knows about BTS. Maybe they do. Maybe they don't. But let me tell you about some things. So let's talk about some things that maybe trash man doesn't know, right?
Ooh, trash, man. Let me tell you, this is specifically for you, as you said, you're not really familiar. Know who BTS is by name, but BTS is the first ever Korean. Um, Korean act singing group to hit, um, the top of the billboard charts in the U S and then they went on to be the first ever South Korea act to ever break the global billboard 200 and the billboard hot 100.
They, they have Dominic. Essentially, they are a boy band and they have nominated better than I'm bigger than I think even like in sync. Whereas boys, back to that now, who sounds like a fan boy. Okay. Come on. If you call a fanboy evil to read from Wikipedia that I'm fan boy, listen. Okay. I will say this.
Okay. There's two songs, two songs I actually like from them. Okay. Mike dropped, but that's got Steve Aoki in it. All right. And then my universe, but that's with Coldplay and I, you know, I'm a white dude. So I like Coldplay. That's just like you call it, call it a stereotype. I do like Coldplay though. And I thought they, I liked both of those.

that's not, that's not going to lie anything outside of like alternative or eighties rock. I'm not going to be able to do. Yeah, you get much about it. I do know that about, about trash man. I do. We actually have pretty similar musical tastes, so, but let's talk let's let's give me, I'll give you one more fact.
I'm going to do a couple quiz. This a quiz question. If you can't get it, maybe I'll give you a hundred diamonds. Woo. Um, five, five, number one hits dynamite. you want to talk about, you only want to talk about you. You want to talk about, uh, of records getting broken. Hey, uh, what famous band did a K-pop w I kind of. Billboard chart record. Did they beat from one of the greatest, most iconic bands of all time? That's the question. This is, and I'm guessing this is I'm guessing this is a bad that neither of us, like we would not consider it.
One of the greatest bands, I don't think as he gets the Beatles. Okay. You're going to make something about the Beatles. Please do not. We're not even going to get into discussion about the Beatles. You cannot tell that. You cannot at least acknowledge that the Beatles are one of the greatest bands of all time.
It's just, if you are, if you say that you don't, you don't have any, any knowledge of music and you, you should be disqualified. I mean, I would definitely say people would say no, not necessarily. No, no. Yeah. And so what are they, what did they. Yeah, what did they win? Let's see, what did they be? Less than 12 months BTS, uh, managed to land their third number one album on the us billboard 200 charts that the only other, the only other overseas band to do that was.
You guessed it the Beatles. So that's a, that's a big deal. So, and in fact it was in 12 months. That's really impressive. Okay. Well, I'll give you that. Well, let's talk about, let's talk about free fire. What's what we're here for. Yeah. I mean, so in free fire, when there's a, co-lab usually there's a couple of different types of colabs come to the game.
When J Balvin came to the game, he did not become a character in the game. His, his gear came to the game when Skyler came to the game, Then we got a character Skylar, when a DJ a lot came to the game as an artist, we got DJ lock. When cashmere came to the game, we got a K character. So do we think that BTS is going to have all these characters in the game or is it just literally going to be, they're going to maybe have a song and a couple dope outfits.
What do you think. I don't know, it'd be, it'd be pretty cool to see a park German character. I'm just saying like BTS lead, man, you guys don't know who that is. Do you know who that is? Well, anyways, if they brought that character, I don't think there's going to be seven new characters in the game. I just don't know.
But what if they put a character in the game that you. Maybe it was BTS character and you could pick seven different skins for the character. Wouldn't that be kind of cool. That would be sweet. I see that being more feasible than putting on like maybe there was character styles that, yeah. What if like there are skins that go with a specific character?
That'd be sweet. Yeah. Like, but it had to be I think he just restated what I said. Yes, because here's the. Here's the thing. What I hear through the leak rumors of the interwebs is that free fire is going to have a massive character change. And the way characters are in the game, in the next updates, I cannot wait for the advanced server because if that's true, people are going to go nuts to watch us play the event server, and let's talk about it.
And that's coming in like that. Yeah, but when we're going to get it, we're going to go see that. So that means there's a potential that these guys could be seven different skins of the same character and you could play with all seven. That means you could play J hope, German V any of them, you know, It'd be awesome.
Um, I mean, that makes sense. Cause it's a lot easier to make a skin for a model than to recreate the entire model. Um, what would be even more interesting is if they could make each skin have a slightly different variant on what the ability is? Oh, that would be sweet too. That'd be sweet. Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, if you're, you know, like we got a.
He has the 5% accuracy buff and doesn't have the little bit of movement speed or whatever. So if you can have like a dual buff, then you can change like say he gives you accuracy. He gives you fire power. He gives you, you know, he's got a 5% accuracy, buffer, maybe Jay hope you got. I mean to your 5% extra speed bumps, not at 5% total, but 5% more than, than you would have gotten.
If you got 6%, like six and a half percent or something six, because, you know, so we got the, you got the incubator weapons, essentially. It's the same scan, different numbers with different attributes. So we can definitely, that would be pretty dope. That would be if they did that, if they did something like you had seven different versions of the same character, And all of them had a seven different, slightly different variations, depending on which of the BTS band you took free fire, you better hear this, that would, they would, people would go bonkers for that.
The value of buying that would be insane. And especially with all the craziness and the free fire w India right now, they need a big hit. And they brought BTS to the game. That's a, that's a big hit and BTS. I don't know if you guys know this, but they debuted under the bat, the album, a brand big hit entertainment.
And I think it's about to be a big hit for free. Yeah. I mean, I, I think you're right. I mean, do you think they're going to create a BTS character that they can cycle through those? I mean, do you, I mean, let's speculate or do you think they're just gonna add that those skins to any character they've already got in.
I think that they, they have had the foresight that we've had about making seven variations of the same character if they have legit. But I don't know. I don't, I don't think they could, but I think if you put one of the characters in, you really tick off the rest of the BTS fans who have a favorite, I don't know.
I don't know that you can, but we've got like, we've got FIFA. We've got, we have some duals that how're the characters in the game, but if they dropped seven characters in the game, Yeah, this will be a huge CoLab cause people are mad, crazy, globally about BTS. That's true. So that means you're going to go try to do whatever you can to get off.
And that could also be a big hit. So I'm not against seven new characters because I love having choices, but yeah, it's going to be cool. Ultimately, we can come to agreeance. They can not been a miss. If they venomous then BTS fan club. Yeah. Yeah. I just be like, this is no Butoh lab. It can't just be a song.
Right. I think from venom though, I do think they learn what is, what happens to BTS has a brand new song made just for free fire unreleased yet. And it comes out and it's. The next big hit. It's all about free fire. I mean, look, it's one thing to book a band. I don't think three fires shelling out the money to have them make a custom song.
Are you talking about like marshmallow Fortnite style? Is that what you're talking about? It had been reeling in some money for you a lot longer than, I mean, is that what you're talking about? That translate some of those Korean words, it says deadbeat. Okay. What if they put me in the song they're going to pull us off air
then? Yes, you are. You know what, you know what you'd be, you'd be upset if you found out like, like a J hope was like, Devin's you're legit. Oh my gosh. If I find out that one of the PTs members follows you, your stream is privately on a burner account, you know, he does. It's probably Jay ho. It's like, man, you know, I don't want to this debt venture guy kind of like, yeah, no, that's, that'd be funny.
What have they listened to the podcast? BTS. If you're listening right now to the podcast, you just know you have three fans, at least for up , you know, he's a fan, my business email, I'll say this is Jay hope. I want to get together and do a CoLab with Devendra I'll Cola, but no costs, man. Just mad. Love that venture.
I mean, you have been, you have been featured on some songs just saying.
Yeah, I I'll say I'll write this. Co-lab I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going to write this co-lab as like, if we go a scale of one to 10, what do you guys think? A scale of one to 10, 10 being like epic. Where would you write the BTS? Colette? I mean, there's been some good colors. They did Snoop dog.
Snoop. Dogg's a huge celebrity in the U S I was excited about it, but that got fumbled majorly. That was not a good CoLab. No one even knew it was happening. Um, so I would say I would give that a three, even though I'll give it three points. Cause it's Snoop dog. Like I just wasn't no one even knew that was happened.
I feel like the airline, but I would say J and Alvin was low for me. The airline color was pretty good. DJ lockers. Pretty good. They, the ones that handled beginning with the music was good. Skyler was actually, I mean, as far as music goes, but I mean, as far as colabs go, I'm really looking forward to this Assassin's creed collab, the closer we get to it, the more excited I get, especially all the leaks personally excited about that, but course.
They are the biggest thing in music. Yes. This isn't a DJ lock. This is a cashmere. This is a J Balvin. Nobody knows who any of those people are in the U S that's like, nobody knows who DJ lock is. Nobody knows who Casper. They really don't. I know him cause I'm in that kind of music. But if I go tell people the streets, they don't know who that is.
I mean, it's once a yes, you're going to know who they are in the U S you get even Trashman is good. Know him. He's good. If I say, Hey, you know, you've ever heard the band BTS and be like, yeah, I heard, I don't know anything about them, but he would hurt him. He, if I was said, do you know who DJ lock-in is?
He'd be like, They know who he is.
what'd you say trash, man? I I'm putting them at an eight on it. 8, 8, 10, 8 out of 10 only because like they, I wouldn't try to give them like a nine or maybe possibly a 10 cause I, how big this could be for them. I think it's still, I'm still raging over the venom CoLab. You dropped the ball on that one.
So, and then you dropped the ball on the Snoop dog. One, like you said, I didn't even know. I think it was like Christmas Eve and dead adventures, like, but let's do an episode where we wait and we're going to do that for some, we're going to go back and study all the code. And we're going to do an episode of rating, the collapsed, and we're going to do a video on it because that'll be actually really fun because there have been some great colabs and there have been some collabs that just been fumbled to pieces.
And so that would be a fun video. Let's eight, maybe 10. This is gonna be this right here. We'll just do this one eight, maybe 10, and I'll say 10, they put the stuff in the game. If there's a BTS character or a selection of characters. I think it'll make this a better Cola, if this is just a t-shirt and a song.
I mean, if they pull up, if they pull off the character thing, like we were thinking they may do with either the swappable skins or whatever, then it's instantly. Yeah. Yeah, I would agree no matter what it is, but I don't know. I'm, I'm going with Stephen A. Smith way too early to tell prediction. I just, I don't know until I drop it, I, I don't know if they fumble it.
They have the potential to really do it well. So if they do it well, I give you a nine. I made with a good thing is I do think free fire is really pushing hard to get into the U S servers more to get more awareness in the U S service. I mean, I know BTS is, is on both sides of the pond, but the truth is.
BTS is big in the United States, too. Like K-pop is big. So to be able to do a co-lab there that we see we've seen them in venom, you know, assassins, creeds worldwide, but I mean, you're talking sales in the United States are through the roof for Assassin's creed. So these, these if seems like the co-labs are all kind of gearing up for more, um, this market's been very lucrative, like a hundred million in a quarter of the year.
It means you can think for $400 million. For this market when they only made 1.2 billion last year. So that means, that means the U S market out of 37 countries. That they're number one in, without even number one in the U S we're bringing in a third of the revenue of the company. And now the India's dropped.
And I, I read somewhere that India is less than. 2% of their revenue. That's amazing. I read that. I read that I almost finished very well, so I was surprised. So if that's the case, the India thing is not really bothered him. Cause cause us has been, been very lucrative. So we need to do an episode this week.
Maybe then let's do an episode this week. Let's let's not only rate the colabs. Let's do like what should be the future collapse? Let's be fun. That'd be fun. Oh yeah. I agree. That's dream.
