Welcome to another episode of the free fire pro podcast. I'm dad venture. I'm here with trash man and , and we are here to talk to you about all things. Free fire. We love free fire. We play free fire, and today has a conversation. I think we're pretty excited about that. You want to, do you want to share with us about, yeah.
Yeah. Okay. So we've been talking about the Assassin's creed collaboration and the BTS collaboration. That's coming to free fire here very soon. Um, and the one that I've been most excited about is obviously the Assassin's creed collaboration, but they've done numerous collaborations. Um, whether it's been music, collaboration, I don't know about that.
Yeah. Okay. So this is going to be, I don't know if you know. And free fire with this collaboration, you'll be able to get a crypto key and you'll get it through either a drop, a loot drop at the tape. Are we talking about Assassin's creed assessed is great. This is in free fire. Oh my God. You'd be able to get a key mean all, get it through like some of the loot crates in the ground.
Uh, but the key will open up in the towers. The T the, the assessment screen towers around the game have giant doors. The Crip key will unlock the doors. You'll be able to go inside the crypt and get special loot in there, or hide in there during the game that's coming like ASAP. He just pulled it up. It's cryptic.
And that nobody knows what it means. Cause it just says crypt, but only that you'll be able to take a leap of faith just like in assess and screen off the top of the, I did know that I didn't know that cause they'd been talking about the new animations are dropping too. They have the, so that they have a knife that you can pick it up in game.
That's the gun, the gun. Like basically the Bracer that has the knife in it, which is awesome. They, some of the gun skins that they have are incredible. I am, I mean, I'm just a huge Assassin's creed fan. So like, for me, it's like, I'm geeking out because we're looking at the stuff here, two great games come together, but that's all she wrote.
That's going to just be, so I know it's incorrect. I mean, and I think like, I think that's one thing. I think we're all excited about it. Cause we've all like, we've all we all like Assassin's creed. So, um, but. Part of that. Okay. Is, is we were talking about collaborations in our BTS episode and talking about how BTS is coming to free fire.
And we were talking about, so what are some of the best collaborations? What are all the collaborations that we have and what are some of the best and the worst collaborations that have happened in free fire, go on and talk about what we've experienced. Right. Right. And I think, I think, uh, this marker here had a list for it and the way we were going to rank them E.
What is through STD. That's how we did it. Last time will be the highest. And then it'll go. I learned about the, we started about September, 2020. So that's about what we know. We don't really know any of the collaborations before then MCAT. So for those of you listening, you may have your own list, but we're going to start about September, 2020, uh, and go from there.
Yeah. So, so throw stuff out and we'll kind of figure it out. Well, I mean, there was one that was really famous, um, uh, attack on time. Attack on Titan. Um, I love the co-lab. Yeah. I actually really enjoy attack on Titan as the enemy. How do you still better about it though? Because I gotta, I gotta strike on Tik TOK.
Yeah. It still affected me because of the naked character. And I noticed, okay. Attack on Titan did a CoLab with war zone. The game we were playing before we came with this, and now people are complaining like crazy. Cause it's just a bunch of naked dudes running around the board, which is what people were frustrated about in.
With free fire. So I could've told you that was coming and the it guys are getting in trouble. They're getting strikes on social media because even though it's not a real human and it's not actually naked, they're still getting strikes on. So, uh, I would say for me, I would have rated this much higher, but because I got to striking to take tech.
Uh, I'm still really upset about the strangled bottom of the pack. Yeah. It was such a great th some of the best skins in the game. Right. For real, with a CoLab, but like, I, I can't, that, that strike has still affected me on tick-tock. Yeah. One of the ones I know dad venture that you did was that you actually got stuff's out for his money.
Money heist happened in September around September of 2020. The same with his writing was what was your rating? Sorry. Well, since you're just going to skip over then, I guess when you met her, well, no, so that ventures, right? They, they did, they did a lot of hype for attack on Titan. I feel like the hype was matched the skins and everything like that, but I am going to join you in.
Probably about a B tier simply because I rolled 3000 diamonds and never got the Titan. Wow. Oh, you never got, you don't have the type that don't have the time have never gotten, but I can remember because, because of certain populations, because of certain stipulations and the way the contract was written with Garina, we were not allowed to have the, uh, skin per attack on Titan.
We had to roll for it, just like everyone else. Gotcha. Yeah, though. That's yeah, I really, I, okay. Let me say this D is D is how I feel because it's tick-tock but I'll say solid B solid B, because it was a great collab. It was, it had some of the best kids we've ever had in a co-lab, but yeah. So next. Yeah, no money heist.
We were talking about money heist and it's the Netflix series money heist. And, uh, actually this has been, you've been all over Tik TOK with that. Yes. Money heist S that the gear is awesome. It looks like the movie. Uh, the TV show, they sent me money, high stuffs. That's a bonus for me. I gotta, I gotta, I have a awesome money.
Heist con uh, you know, costume, the jumper in the bag. I looked like what's the guy looked like it's somebody in the Siri, Ava or something. I forget his name. He's in the show. But, um, yeah, so he's a Serbian guy, so I kind of looked like him. That's that's kind of the thing. So I would say best music co-lab ever.
Bella ciao. Bella ciao. Bella ciao. Ciao. Ciao. Yeah, that's definitely I'm a little ass. Yes. So in that one, I don't know I've done that. Wasn't huge into the home, the money type thing, but I liked it. The characters were very close to the criminals, right. As far as what they look like and stuff. So I think about the amounts.
They give us all the money in minutes. There's tons of modes with it, like the modes and a lot of the other co-ops have been lame or just a. Money ha has still has like three, four really cool emotes people use all the time. Yeah. And the emotes are awesome, but I'm going to, I'm probably still going to go S tier on this, just because of the hype that it came, it brought in the Latin America and they brought it back a year later.
Yeah. So we just, we just had a revisit of the money heist so far. I've never had a revisit of a, of one. So I would say yes. That's a great re I mean, it was the TV show came out. Good. Right. So now the season of the show came out, um, finished up. So I think that's why, but yeah. Um, this was before you guys, but one of the ones that people say online was really good as the Ragnarok, um, collaboration, but yeah, that was the only thing they had the pet pouring where you guys get it.
So I'm mad about that pet back. So I'm going to say I F F tier, because they never brought the pet back. Yeah. Uh, where are you part of this one? Joe Tesla? Nope. Nope. That's Joda though in the game. Okay. So that's Jonah. I know about this because it was right before us and Jonah came to the game and Jodah is one of my favorite characters in the game because it matches my play style.
So even though I wasn't playing, I think you liked Joe to tube because we I'm going to say solid eight tier Joda as bit. Good. And then they removed Jonah from the game. I think the contract. So you had to have Joda before the contract went out. So like, this is one like your grandfather did. Yeah. So I feel pretty good about this one.
So I'm on a, they said it was the first Indonesia character, I believe. Right? Yeah. He's like a huge superstar. And, uh, he was the second free fire character after a lock to be the result of a well-known like failure in the real world. So, um, here's a fun one. Uh, dad venture. I know how much you like EDM and I, I have to believe this is going to be a good one, but.
Uh, Kashmir. I'm a go. So cashmere is pretty cool. It's got a nice blue, your Mo he came, I think, during the bull, you day that year, it was, it was not didn't have any of the fanfare of a lot of the other ones. Yeah. Yeah. He was kind of a cool that he's done a lot of cool music in the game. I'm going to go, I'm going to go.
It's eight tier. Like I don't play with cashmere. I just, that he's Opie for a lot of people, but it doesn't fit my play style. So I'm going to check, um, I'm probably going to go see on that one. Cause it was just kind of like a speed bump. Like it was just kind of. And we're gone. Like nobody, it wasn't very memorable.
I think, I think the, cause you, like you said, it came out right about the anniversary. I think all the anniversary stuff blotted out or here's the problem. So when I went to Vegas and we saw all this amazing stuff for the fourth year anniversary, cashmere's on this big, giant screen, we've got music and cashmere.
So my experience at Cadbury, a little bit different because of that. So I'm going to go a little higher. Um, but had I not had all that cool stuff happening probably would be B, B, C tier, but yeah, I'm going to eight eight here. Yeah. I mean, I, this was, uh, this was, I, I knew this, this is the first one I really started playing.
This is when I first downloaded it. But the Christiana now. Uh, CoLab. What, what, how about that one? S S plus plus plus tier. It was the greatest thing in the history of, of gaming. I think CRO knowability was Simone. Some of the most Opie things I've ever seen in a game. If you got Grono, you basically could just destroy everyone else.
Even if they had Kronos, you could, if you could play Croda better, you still would wipe the board. Uh, but it was SS, it was S plus plus plus. Yeah, like they have ruined Kronos. It's the worst. It's terrible. So like, I dunno how you take the greatest thing in the game and turn it into absolute garbage. But that is what happened with Krone, but that was great press for free.
And we released that was huge press for free fire to get arguably one of the greatest soccer players in the world. That's a fan to be in a Rinaldo. Be it a name, our fan. Yeah. That's how bad they messed it up and yeah. That's how bad they must
we just missed out on, we didn't get it. It was, but it was the coolest thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was, uh, I remember getting to see all of the pictures. I got to see all the zombies unboxings, and I'm like, are you kidding?
Yeah, well, and then another one humongous co-lab that actually didn't end up happening until the early part of 2021, but it was announced in late 20, 21, plus. One punch man. Was it really good? I thought it was a really good co-lab very well done. Um, I can't throw it up there in S tier, but I can give it eight tier just because everything went smooth in that Cola, light strikes on textiles.
There was no hiccups. Like the PA everything looked very well done. I would go, Hey, definitely a I, they outfits are cool. One punch, man. The pajamas outfit was cool. The superhero guns were cool. The fish were cool. Everything about one punch, but yeah, he was really, there was only one thing weird about it as one of the modes, the guy had his big old balloon head.
He's just weird egghead. Weird. I think it has to do with the show, but it's still what was weird. Yeah. So, so I I'm surprised you guys rank that up there, but I mean, you had, you had a shoe co-lab. Yeah, custom van shoes are cool. So yeah, that's pretty sweet. Well, I appreciate that. It kicks over on clapper app.
Yeah. Yeah. I appreciate that. That's pretty sweet. Well, let's move into 2021 because there, uh, there's a retrospective list of all the collaborations made right now. I it's worth going through this. I think those were some of the better color. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ah, okay. So sun tongue. TP Skylar, Skylar, AKA Skylar.
I would say Skyler isn't has an opiate ability, which I think makes him good, but I'm going to go be, yeah, I think a Skylar has gained population. Since the launch of it, like when Skylar was first coming, coming out, putting out content on that and everything like that, it was just like, eh, and it had a really cool music video.
I like the music video that day. It, it doesn't have any kind of fanfare. Like the rest of them. It was kind of like cashmere, like it came with. And it wasn't until Skyler's character truly became Opie. That it really like now Skyler's. I wonder though, because he's Vietnamese. I wonder if the Vietnam service huge, like, it was probably like a huge release and probably cause they just didn't think we knew him.
It wasn't a big deal here. Yeah. I'm sure. I'm sure it is, you know, different from server to server, like the home countries of these it's probably exploded. They're yelling at us right now. They're like, no, that was the great, oh yeah, it definitely has cool uniforms. Like his, his, his, his outfits are awesome.
Like he's got the orange jumpsuit. He's got the key tar. Um, so yeah, I would say. Probably it could be an a, but I just don't. I don't play with Skylar. I didn't really notice guy was, I did get like, super excited about it. It's uh, The other one with the Egyptian artist, uh, Mohammed Ramadan, well behind in Robin OD is not actually in the game for us, so way to way to poke a sore spot Zercher.
And so, um, Muhammad, I didn't know that there was a plane heavy, so here's the deal. Last time he brought up BD now BDS in the game. So maybe this . Barbara was the guy that I actually have Morrow at every other server, except for this new content. So if this happens again, you will bring another character of the game just by seeing him, Mr.
listening. That'd be funny. You have to make some short videos about this stuff. I will. Absolutely. Uh, but like Morrow is, is a cool character. I like him in any of the servers. Um, he came out really big on the middle east server, the north Africa server over. Yeah, the surface, we don't have him yet. He's got a cool Falcon thing.
Um, I'm hoping we get him, but like, uh, I would say for us D cause we don't have any and we don't want to have the character the game. Yeah. Well, I mean we, is it fair to even rank it though? If we don't have the character yet? Yeah, I think, I think it's fair because we see him in the game. It just says. And the coming sooner, whatever it says.
So, yeah, but she's not fair, not famous for free. There's a few of those, like pouring out of the game. If you're not going to give it to us, like, I'm so sick of this. What about a trade we'll trade forward and we'll trade forward for him. We'll trade you forward. Yeah. All right. So I do know this one. You guys got this one, right?
Yeah. Street fighter. Street fighter extreme mungus mungus CoLab with street fighter and Capcom. And so talk to me a little bit about that. What did, what did you guys like about that CoLab? I came out in the summer. I really want to 21 really enjoyed it because it was. Like that felt like the first American thing kind of what we were getting, like a street fighter was big here in America or watching the movie as a kid.
Yeah. So that was a Japanese or Korean game. Yes, I know it is, but I'm saying like, it was huge here in America too. And it kind of felt more like. American like CoLab. I grew up a street fighter, so yeah, definitely kinda like, kinda like BTS, like how BTS is big here, even though it's a band that is overseas.
Like he's trying to talk to me. I not, I'm sure. It's like, he's trying to talk to me. No, by me really like BTS is big over here. And so it does feel like north America gets a piece of the pie when there's collabs that we're really familiar with. Cause sometimes, you know, like Morrow. We didn't, we don't have that character.
Right? The snare, Mr. Free fire Hammad Ramadan didn't come to the north American service. Well, a street fighter street fighter had cool weapons, cool characters. We did a big tournament with free fire at a street fighter. I did get banned on Tik TOK again for this. Um, I, I went with my son to play the actual street fighter old arcade game and got banned for a week from Tik TOK for doing that.
This thing is dangerous activity while I was filming us playing. I know I almost forgot about this. It did give us one of the hardest hitting AWM skins that is hard to have it on that gun right now. It hasn't left since it came. Hmm. It's not quite as tear. I just don't feel like there was enough in game content for that one.
So I'm going to put it a, a plus on a, uh, speaking of end game content and the lack thereof. Let's talk about the collaboration that I would consider a failure as one of my favorite superheroes. Right? Nah. Now. Uh, anti-heroes that exists in the Marvel universe, free fires CoLab with a venom was a, an overwhelming failure.
In my opinion. I don't know what you guys yeah, I would agree. Yeah. Other than it was really cool to see free fire in the movie, which I think S yeah, the coolest thing I've had happened with free fire outside of my experience with. Is that free far was in venom. So no matter who I talk about free fire who doesn't know free fire, I can say you see me in him.
Yeah. Remember that? That, that wasn't the TV. That's the game I went. Oh yeah. So I would give that out, but that's a big old, no, that's a big old T's it's no, all it was was in the movie. We should've got bet on skins. We should've got, we should've. We should've got Eddie Brock skins. We should have had massive collabs gun skins.
I mean, it was, it was a disappointment. Uh, the defendant CoLab was disappointed. I'm going to F all the way on this. the minute that venom wasn't I got all excited. I was like, this is going to be good. If I could go lower than if I give it lower than that. That's how mad I was. If they wouldn't have tried to get us so excited about it, they kept pronouncing things like this is going to be exciting.
And then it was just like a, and that was the wasn't that the question like the whole time w is venom going to be on the game. And they were just kinda like, w maybe like, they never gave us, they didn't want to tell us because they dictate. This is the, this is what makes me question all the other co-lab and you look, even in your co-op thing, it just talks about how this feature of the film that's like, that was, that was really the co-lab, which is fine.
Okay. This is the other thing that made me mad. Look at all this graphics, they had all these graphics, graphics tastes like, like if the leakers aren't leaking that there's new skins and all this other stuff, it's not happening. And nobody was saying anything. And I got a t-shirt that's all we got. And it was a t-shirt.
I literally got to teach you. Oh, I got
How about this dad venture. You want to talk about this one free fire and Dimitri Vega and like, okay. So Dimitri Vega, like my I, so here's the thing. Uh, we got two characters that have really terrible abilities. They're not very good in the game. Um, there, I mean, they put like a shirtless guy in the game and a guy with the cool hoodie with paint on it.
I mean, it's kind of cool. It's nice. I liked the variety of characters. I just kind of. There. I feel like their abilities are kind of like, I would never really use them. People use them sometimes they were annoying. Cause one guy revise people, but I don't feel like they got the fanfare as other collabs, but they got a lot more attention and like they got the lobby thing, you know, they get the lobby thing when they came in.
They're both in the lobby for like 30 days or for a whole whole time, which was cool. But the fanfare didn't match their. Like how good they were. Skylar. Skylar had less fanfare is Oop. Yeah. And I don't know if I don't actually think that the developers think through these things. I think they, they get these brand collabs.
They, the developers are making something different than the marketing team. And so that's where I feel like it falls flat. Like everything was cool about what they did with these characters. Like they, they really integrated them into the game and the experience, but it just, like, I had no reason to actually play with them.
Cause it was kinda of, yeah, I think it's kind of like a three-way scale on that. How much are you hyping this up versus what the end game content is going to be. And then if you have a main character in the game, Can't really drop the ball yet. If the character's coming out and it's, it's super Opie, then you need to do like a hot patch later on.
Right. They should've gave Skyler so much more fanfare and these characters are not Opie and they're kind of like it. Shouldn't be we talking about something else real quick. Okay. Can we talk about how the fact that like Mike and diva, they don't actually look the same. Can we. Can we do body realistic characters in video games for once.
Yeah. You mean Libya? This picture like has a six pack, but in real life, he's got, I need more representation with my body type of video games. And when they do this stuff, it just, it makes me feel insecure. It's my thing that I've thought since the beginning with like Mike, he's got a big old, 13 tattoo on his, on his body, but in, in America, A big old 13 tattoos.
It's like, , it's like M 13 from Mexico. Who's like the cartels that like massacre people like horribly. So I know that he's not from America or Mexico, but that's kinda what it feels like to be by the way we record this podcast in California. If any of those people are listening, but I do think they're cool looking characters.
They add something to the game. So I don't think it's a terrible, I'm going to go. And will be, I don't know. I'm I'm with you a, B or C. It really was one of those kind of like yawned past the co-lab like it wasn't the, yeah, it wasn't good. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. Yeah. Okay. All right. Yep. I have one that's super, super important.
Okay. And I think that we're going to get different opinions on this really different opinions on this. Okay. But I'm going to start with you trash man. Yes, because I know what you're going to say. Okay. Free fire and McLaren epic. And I'm going to ask all the white mainly. I had been a McLaren fan since I was like six years.
Okay. We might actually all agree on this. Yeah, here's the deal. I have been a humongous McLaren fan. I'm going to go God, tear on this. It does not tear. Uh, the McLaren club lab continues to give us CoStar, oh my God, this release this release last year in July, we just got a new car skin, like a month or two ago.
I got a new McLaren cars kit. This is the, this is the CoLab that keeps on giving and not to mention. So I got to go okay. This one, you get to see the one you got to go and drive, not a McLaren, but there were McLaren. There was the people that had the P one there, which the P one is like my dream car. Yeah.
It's like my dream. When you told me, I remember dev venture called me, it was like, We'll go to Vegas, let's do this. Do this was that new Yorker, New York, New York. And you were like dirt doing this co-lab with McLaren. I'm like, wait a second. You mean like McLaren the car? And you're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just like some like, kind of it's like a P one or something and I'm like, aren't you kidding me?
It's my favorite. That's like my dream car. That's cool. So that tier on McLaren? Yeah, it does. It's by far the best. Yeah. Yeah, I would agree. I agree. And they did have other stuff planned with McLaren. Um, I don't know if that's still in the works or if it went away due to COVID, but they did have other things.
Yeah. Yeah. We were going to go, we were literally going to go to the F1 race in Houston. They were going to take the influencers. Like it wouldn't have been the most amazing thing and we didn't get gun. Yeah. Well, I mean, I want to end on that note. I mean, I don't know about you guys, but I know there's a lot of collabs that have happened in free fire, but these are, these are among like the top.
You know, that have happened in the past two years, 20, 20 and 20 20, 21 and 2022 looks like if we're Assassin's creed and BTS or any indicator that we're going to have more exceptional coloration. And obviously I can't say it, but free first told me some of that collabs are coming. Th they had told me about BTS.
I just couldn't reveal it. So they didn't have secrets. Can't tell you I won't because, uh, I want them to tell me things, but you'll hear here first. They're epic things coming. So as soon as they release it, we will release it. I'm excited about what's coming in 2022. And if, if COVID clears up and we get to have some of these things, Well, it doesn't really have experiences to share with amazing.
Yeah. I'm excited about it. I'm super pumped about it. I'm super pumped about assassin street. I can't wait. I've already been opening opening since they, they dropped. I want that. I want that. Now, whatever you want in the game, you're guaranteed not to get my house. If you're dead visitor at the last one, every time that was one, one of the gyms away from getting a Cobra, the new, the new skin.
1, 1, 1 you should have spent the money. I almost did. I was like, so mad, like be back for a year or so now. And the incubator grows. I got the first two, like, boom. I told Kyle, I was like one, two, and then I spent like another 2009. Yeah. Yup, come on, but I didn't get the skin. That's the only I had all four.
