For the Christian, the season of Advent marks the beginning of a new year. We begin this new year by waiting with anticipation for the coming of our Savior. Of course, we're on the other side of Christ's first coming, and so while we celebrate and remember with joy how God took on flesh and dwelt among us, we also hold on to the hope that Christ will return -- His second advent.
As we wait it's easy to get caught up in the consumerism of the culture. This series is here to help you not get caught up. To help you stay focused on the presence of God at work among us. May you experience the Lord's presence this Advent. And may you awaken to others as you awaken to God. Happy Advent, everyone.
