about Stage 4 Ovarian cancer. Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, means that cancer has spread into the fluid around the lungs and distant organs and tissues. The outlook for people with late stage ovarian cancer is less favorable than for people who have early stage cancer. Treatments typically include surgery, targeted therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.
