The United Nations Refugee agency estimates that there are 82.4 million people world-wide that are displaced due to persecution, violence, human rights violations or other events. This includes an estimated 4.5 million Ukrainian refugees fleeing the Russian invasion.
Today our topic will focus on the refugee and asylum process in the United States.
Our guest is Robert Armstrong of Armstrong Legal. Robert is an experienced immigration attorney in Dallas that represents clients in immigration court, and a whole host of immigration filings including asylum, TPS, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, DACA, U Visas, VAWA and applying for permanent residence or citizenship.
