Job Shadow with Jodie Boggess

Dr. Jennifer Crawford- Lecturer of Chemistry at Mercer University

Jodie Boggess Season 2 Episode 8

Did you know that MyPlan.com ranks being a professor as one of the most satisfying jobs?  I wanted to learn more, so I reached out to Dr. Jennifer Crawford lecturer of Chemistry at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Her love for chemistry and desire to help her students grow fuels her drive to teach first year college students.  It was so fun to speak with her and I think we covered almost every topic ranging from a day in her life as a  lecturer, her degree path, her doctoral program experience, her career path to even talking about technology in the classroom.  Her wisdom on factors to consider when choosing a graduate school is a must listen for those planning post graduate studies.  Enjoy!
Her favorite book:  Bleak House by Charles Dickens
