As credit unions across the country celebrate youth month it is a perfect time to talk to your kids about their finances.  There was time when schools taught basic Home Economics like cooking, sewing and even basic banking.  Over the years, those classes went by the wayside and teaching children about finances became the responsibility of the parent or caregiver.  
Many parents face the challenge of feeling like theres no time or not knowing how to approach the topic.   Many organizations are offering classes or seminars to help fill the gaps, including First Pioneers FCU.
