Episode 137: Imagine what God can do with Ashley Nochevich

Season 1 Episode 137

This week we are joined by Ashley Nochevich! Ashley and her husband have been attending Desert Springs for 6 years with their precious children. A fun fact is that Ashley is our producer Brittany's older sister! What we love about the story shared today is the power of what walking with Christ in His church can do. Ashley moved around a lot as a child before her family eventually settled in Arizona. She accepted Christ at a young age but describes that she wasn't really following after Jesus. Middle school was a rough time as she was exposed to drugs, began struggling with self-harm and developed a taste for alcohol. These things continued through high school and Ashley explains that she felt like she was just going through the motions of life, trying to cope. A bright spot during these years was meeting her husband Curtis at age 17. They would marry early in their 20s. After getting married, Ashley and Curits moved to Wisconsin. This is where the Lord really began to work and heal. Though the winters were brutal, and they were isolated from their family and friends, it ended up being a blessing in disguise. Ashley felt the Lord working in her heart and her life began to change. Your heart will be warmed as you hear Ashley tell her story. God has shown up in a lot of amazing ways. Right at the end of the conversation Ashley also shares her journey with infertility and how the Lord blessed through that. God is good and you will take that away from Ashley's testimony!
