Step 6 is a pivotal step in a person's growth and recovery. It's here where Jesus isn't just another higher power, but Lord and Savior.

We sought through prayer, study and our small group his healing gospel truth.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. " - Matthew 6:33

In this episode, we move on next to the solution to the problem presented in steps 1 and 2 - our sin.
Step 3: We CONSIDERED accepting Jesus as our Higher Power
“That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” –Romans 10:9
In this conversation about step 2, we talk about the importance of the word "consider" among other things.
Here is the step:
We CONSIDERED the fact that it might be the sin in our lives that caused this lack of freedom.
"I tell you the truth. Everyone who sins is a slave to sin." –John 8:34
In the first of our episodes on the steps, we talk about the power of perspective when it comes to recognizing our place. Only then can we make a move away from the prison we built.
Step 1: We recognized that our lives had become a prison.

Enjoy this conversation and testimony to God's grace through the life of Tom Roth, founder of Step Seven Ministries.
Here is another update on a brother who has fully submitted himself to God's will and movement in his life. We talked much about that and how Shane fully gave up his business to God and then watched as God allowed him to shift into another form of ministry.

Another great conversation, this time with Nick. His transformation helped bring peace to his marriage and show those he loves how Jesus transforms, even after trying so many other times. Enjoy!
Brett's story definitely includes his bride, who not only gave him more chances but believed in him. While we don't include her side of the story (yet), you will hear how Brett's journey of transformation to recovery has helped him, his family, and others.
