You can't truly grow and improve as a coach or leader... unless you actively engage in regular and meaningful reflection.
Reflection is essential for coaches and leaders, especially at the end of the year.
Many coaches don't reflect effectively because they're biased, too busy, or just think it's a waste of time.
When you reflect effectively, you figure out what actually works and what strategies lead to success.
Reflection promotes accountability, trust, and high-functioning teams.
When teams don't reflect, you end up with “false harmony”, missed opportunities, and loss of credibility.
Conflict and storming are essential for team growth and improvement.
Asking the right questions is crucial for meaningful reflection.
Are you reflecting enough?
Learn more about reflection and specific questions to ask as a coach or leader in this episode of Coaching the Whole Educator.
