A Catchment Officer with the South East Rivers Trust, Josh tells us what makes the Loddon so unique as a chalk stream, why it's under threat, and what’s being done to protect it. From sewage overflows and invasive species to rare native crayfish and the iconic Loddon lily, we explore the river’s challenges and its hidden wonders.
We also look ahead to Loddon Rivers Week — a community-led initiative packed with events, restoration work, and guided walks designed to reconnect people with their local river.
