Welcome to the global launch of the all-new DMR Studio!!!

After reaching a massive 16 million views on Tiktok since mid 2023, we are moving into a high-production 4K era. This isn't just a podcast; it's a cinematic 28-minute masterclass in the truth behind the headlines.

In this premiere 4K episode on Youtube/Spotify, we break down:

• Longlegs - The Horror Masterpiece: We dissect Osgood Perkins’ horror phenomenon. Is Nicolas Cage’s performance the ultimate embodiment of this eras psychological dread? We go "mask off" on the occult symbolism and the "triangular" unaliving pattern that has the internet paralyzed.

• The Epstein Files (2026 Declassified): With this month's release of over 3 million FBI records, we look at the names frequently appearing in the declassified documents. From Buckingham Palace dinner invites to the politician correspondence, we analyze the "client list" reality that mainstream media is still trying to redact. *Correction Naomi Campbell (Model) I meant not Aussie Actress.

• MAFS Australia 2026: The Brook Crompton Nuclear Blow-up: We analyze the "villain arc" of the century. From the secret pregnancy rumors to the "Mean Girl" tag-team with Gia, we dissect the dinner party where Brook went absolutely off the hinge. Why is Brook allegedly trying to sue to have the footage scrubbed?

• Shrinking Season 3: The "Jimmying" Effect: Apple TV’s mental health hit is back. We review the return of Harrison Ford and Jason Segel, exploring how the show balances "grief-therapy" with 2026’s best hang-out comedy vibes. Is the series preparing to say goodbye to Paul?

Welcome to the second show in the show. So welcome back to the DMR Studio. Carl is my name, and movies are my game. So we're back here on StreamYard. A bit of a stress test before we start doing interviews. Probably gonna be a little bit unscripted, a little bit more raw, what have you. A few more ums and ahs, not that polished presenter that you're kind of used to. So it's been a little while since we've been on StreamYard, but we have been approached by multiple guests to come on and discuss their ins and outs of their involvement with Hollywood and the latter. So pretty exciting times ahead. We're looking forward to it. As you can see, we've got the Spartan helmet, he's back, King Lee Ninus' helmet. Look at that movie replica. Now I bought that for a hundred bucks. Back in 2012. So obviously a massive fan of the 300 movie Cracker River film. If you haven't seen it, it came out in 2007. We've got the DMR logo, it's lit back up in the background there. Look at that thing. Unbelievable. Good stuff. Pulp Fiction Boys got the green screen. We're gonna be doing the studio up a little bit more as time rolls on. But before we kick off, we're gonna do a mixed bag episode this week for a little bit of a stress test. So before we kick off, a reminder that DMR is part of the Audible Creators Program. So what does that mean for you, the viewer or listener at home? That's right, you don't touch that dial. I'm talking to you. So there is a link in my show. You can jump on that link. It will take you over to Audible, and you can start a 30-day free trial on behalf of DMR. That's right, 30 days for free. And the one I'm listening to at the moment, let's have a little bit of a look. It is, let's have a look here. Life by Keith Richards. You know, Keith, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stone. So it's read by Johnny Depp and Joe Hurley. Also features Keith Richards as well. This thing goes for ages. I've got 16 hours, 17 minutes left, and he's at a part where they've just played in the USA for the first time of their career. It's probably back in the 60s or 70s. I'm not entirely sure when that was. But cracker of a listen, cracker of a listen. Because Rolling Stones, obviously, influential in music. These guys are like vampires. They seem like they're 200 years old, just keeps on going. But it's just a cracker of a listen or a read, what have you. So again, jump in that. It'll take you over to that link, and you can start your 30-day free trial. Terms and conditions obviously do apply if you stick around past the 30 days. But you'll be basically supporting DMR. Alright, so let's rip into it. So I'm going to be talking about a few different topics in this mixed bag episode. And that's what I like about the mixed bag. The mixed bag is what it sounds like. You get not one, but multiple, multiple things to listen to. So the first one I want to talk about is a movie called Long Legs. So Long Legs came out a couple of years ago, and it stars Nicholas Cage. And this movie is a thriller slash horror. Let's have a little bit of a look on Rotten Tomatoes, what it basically says about this particular film. So I knew about the film, and basically I hadn't got around to watching it. And we've got here on Rotten Tomatoes here. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no way, get away. It's come out a couple of years ago. So yeah, 2024 was when it came out. And we've got here, let's have a look. We've got here 85% from the critics and 61% from the audience score. Look at that helmet in the background. It looks good, eh? It looks really good. I'm happy with it. Happy with it. Happy with it. So 85%. So that's fresh. That's fresh from the critics. So let's have a bit of a look here. So in pursuit of a serial killer, an FBI agent uncovers a series of occult clues that she must solve to end his terrifying killing spree. So we've got here, we've got the director, which is Oz Perkins. We've got Agent Lee Harker, played by Makia Monroe, I think it is. And then we've got Nick Cage as Long Legs, the serial killer. Then we've got Blair Underwood as Agent Carter. So this movie is set in the mid-90s. And you can tell because there's no real mobile phones back then. They've got pictures of President Clinton up on the wall in the FBI offices. And it's up to this young female agent basically to track down this particular killer known as long legs. So long legs, if you haven't seen it, just jump on Google or whatever, type in long legs and have a look at Nicolas Cage's head in this thing. Ooh, man, man. It is absolutely white. Let me just see if I can find a photo of this guy and what he actually looks like. Because he is like just menacing. Menacing. Let's have a look here. Alright. Can you see that? Like up on the screen, we all know that Nick Cage is batshit crazy. He's crazy. He's one of my favourite actors. I first saw him in what was it? I probably reckon it was Face Off. In I think it came out in 1997. He's been around for a long time. He's been around since the late 80s, I think, when he's first started making his movies. I haven't seen all of his movies. I've seen a lot of them. But his portrayal of this serial killer in Long Legs, whooy, my lord. My lord. So he's got a white, it looks like he's got face paint on. I'm not entirely sure. Could be talcum powder. But it's just amazing the transformation this guy goes through. So he's been in the movie, he's been active for a number of decades, I think it is. And spoiler alert, it does have something to do with the FBI's past as well, and we find that out later on in the movie. But what he does, he's basically a devil worshipper, satanic cult member, a cult. Always found that weirder. So you hear the word cult, and then you see it spelled out a cult. So I think cult is basically short for it. Could be wrong. But basically, what he does, it's really unnerving scenes in this particular movie. So he uses what can only be described, in my opinion, which is basically voodoo dolls, I think it is. So they basically build these dolls that look like he's victims, they drop it off to the houses of the victims, and basically what happens then is that the serial killer or the victims themselves start to basically get tracked down by this particular occult, and all hell breaks loose, or hell starts breaking loose. So you've got this FBI agent, she's in the mid-90s, she's basically tracking this guy down, and she's almost like she's got ESP, or she can kind of read, I don't know about reading minds, but she's very intuitive in relation to these serial killers and how they basically act. There's an opening scene in the movie where it is shock value, you don't expect it, it happens very, very quickly, and it was very, very strange. My wife and I were watching it, and when this violent act happened, I basically paused the movie and it captured it perfectly. And my wife and I looked at each other and we've gone, What the hell? How I couldn't even do that again if I tried. It was it was just wild, wild stuff. So it's on Netflix at the moment, and it's got some really disturbing imagery in it, and it kind of reminded me of the movie with Tony Colette Hereditary, if you've seen that. Not as intense, but still up there in terms of just really disturbing serial killer movie imagery, and the way it all kind of leads to the end, there's an interrogation scene with Nick Cage at the end of the movie, and basically something happens, he does something to himself, and I don't think I've seen that in a movie before. The way he kind of talks as well is very disturbing, very unnerving. There's a scene where he's driving the car and he basically says, Mommy, daddy, unmake me. It's just you know that crazy Nick Cage voice. So I recommend watching this film. It's again pretty disturbing, pretty disturbing. I'm a bit late to the party on it, but it was a film that you just sit there in your chair and you kind of squirm around, and it's like yeah, it's just not something that you really want to continue to basically watch. But it's on Netflix at the moment, so make sure you check that one out. Alright, so what are we gonna get on to next? So, oh man. Whilst this is not a topic about a movie, it kind of reminds you of a movie. This guy, Jeffrey Epstein, man, the files have been dropped, and all hell is breaking loose. Now we know that Epstein basically apparently died in jail in 2019, and then Gillian Maxwell, his partner in crime, the female, she got arrested, charged, I'm pretty sure she's doing a couple of decades, I think it's 20 years in prison. She knows everything. She knows absolutely everything. Now these files are dropping and coming out. You've got all these different references to some absolutely horrific stuff. Horrific stuff. Involving trafficking, babies, infants. I don't really want to say what they do. You can search online with what they're talking about. You got all these people that are involved now, and obviously, what has happened yesterday is that we've had what's his name? The prince or former prince in the royal family, which is what's his name? Just give me one moment. Please hold while your core is transferred. This guy's been in some real hot water, real, real hot water. Andrew Mountbatten, Windsor. Prince Andrew. So he got stripped of his title. He's no longer a prince. The royal family knew this was coming. The royal family knew this was about to happen because you wouldn't be stripping the guy of his title, and then basically the arrest takes place. So former Andrew, former Prince Andrew, Andrew Mountainbatten Windsor, former British royal, was arrested in the UK in connection with misconduct in public office linked to material shared with Epstein. A major legal reputational blow tied directly to the files. The arrest spark global attention and legislation moves to remove him from the line of succession. So out you go, buddy, you're done. You're done. And there's a whole heap of different other celebrities that are being named as well. We've got here Whoopi Goldberg. She publicly noted her appeared, her name appeared because of an email about travel logistics. She and her co-host emphasised she had no relationship with Epstein. Trump obviously, we know that he and his wife are mentioned thousands of times. Here it says Elon Musk, we've got Reed Hoffman, Sergio, Sergio Brynn. We've got billionaires like Leon Black, Peter Teal, Naomi Campbell, the Aussie actress. So this thing is gonna go on for years. This thing, I reckon, is gonna be study like the Kennedy assassination. This is wild, wild stuff. Again, the guy was basically taken out or apparently suicided in 2019 in his jail cell. There's huge speculation around what happened in that cell. There's missing footage of when he basically was supposed to be killed or died. A coroner, I think it is, or somebody, said that the way that he broke his neck was physically impossible for somebody to do. So the holes in this story is just nuts. Apparently, he's a Massad agent. And the whole thing, as well, is that when he came to power, I want to say power, like in terms of his wealth, it's murky, it's grey. He kind of came out of nowhere, and he had all these financial ties to Wall Street. Somebody gifted him, I think it was a $70 million apartment or building, residential building in New York City. When they raided his apartment, some very odd things were found, especially like with the portrait of Bill Clinton in high heels sitting on the chair in that painting. It's just insane. The island itself, like, it's it's nuts. This guy is like a Bond villain. I wonder when all the dust settles, like, who is actually gonna play Jeffrey Epstein? There's gonna be a movie about it. They make movies about everything, and I just think that this thing is gonna keep going and going and going. There's reference to pizza, whatever the hell that is, all throughout these emails that have come out. It's just absolutely insane. So it's gonna be interesting to see who continues to drop after they've arrested a royal family member. Just put that into context. They've arrested a prince involved with the royal family that had ties to Epstein. Absolutely wild, wild stuff. Continue to watch this space because I think this is gonna get deeper and deeper and deeper, and it's gonna be studied for a hell of a long time. This guy had his tentacles into everything. Everything. And he also bought like thousands of gallons of sulfuric acid or something along those lines. Like you can't make this stuff up, you can't make it up. It's just crazy, crazy crazy stuff. Alright, so let's roll on to the next topic. Alright, so there is a show in Australia, and I don't know if it's around the world, but it's been going for quite some time now called Married at First Sight. So if you're not familiar with this particular show, basically you've got people that have been single for extended periods of time that are basically coming together and getting married as strangers. And then they have the ceremony, they have their family members there. It's a short, small ceremony, all filmed, all live, and basically they're all there dressed to the nines, tuxedoes, the guy is waiting at the altar in his tuxedo or woman, because they have had gay couples on there before, and they're waiting for their new partner who they've never met, who they've never met. It's a wild concept, and this is probably why the show is so popular because you get to see people's reactions on how all this basically goes down. So over the years, the show has been continued or has continued to be controversial, and it kind of started about three or four years ago. My wife and I do watch it, not religiously, but watch it enough to be entertained. It's pure garbage TV. And when I say garbage, it's not in relation to the wedding itself, it's what happens after. So they call it the experiment. So they call it a wedding, but they don't have to be legally bound by this thing. They can choose to at the end. And if memory serves, I think it's like 90 to 95% of the couples don't stay together. They don't stay together because you can't do that. You can't get married without having the foundation there of meeting the person, basically falling in love with them, dating them before that, what have you, and then eventually getting married, and most people try to have kids offspring. So to roll all that and skip all that, all that stuff at the start, it's kind of like when you're making a cake. If you don't have the proper ingredients, or you've only got a third of the ingredients, you ain't gonna have a cake. And this is the same with a marriage. You ain't gonna have a marriage. But what's been happening over the past couple of years, I'd say probably about three to four years, they have these weekly dinner parties, and it's been getting increasingly heated over the years. There was a chick that basically poured wine onto another female member's head. So that was pretty funny. That was a couple of years ago, and then we've had something happen this week on the dinner party with a particular wife named Brooke. Now, apparently she is a model somewhere in Australia, and she was paired with this guy, not a bad guy, seems like a pretty good bloke, and there was an audition video where he basically said, I'm pretty sure I could be a bit f fuzzy on this, but basically said that he doesn't like fat people, and she's a model, and she couldn't get past that, and basically she left the experiment. Then they had this dinner party, then old mate, the husband, basically came to the dinner party, came back, and he was very emotional because the wife has just picked up and left him, and he's kind of beside himself, he doesn't know what to do, doesn't really want to go to this dinner party because you're going in there by yourself. Anyway, he does it, he bites a ball. The guy's crying too. The guy's crying in the bathroom store, and the producers are talking to him. So you've got to feel for him. Anyway, so he goes in the dinner party, and then this Brooke chick rocks up, and literally all hell starts breaking loose. This chick is just literally on fire at slinging shit and spewing venom and toxicity at basically everyone. It is insane. It is insane. I know people like this. I'm not gonna name names, I'm not gonna say whether they're male or female, I'm not gonna say whether they're in my personal life or in my work. Career, I'll leave that to you to guess. But I've dealt with this type of person before. The psychopathic traits that this woman portrayed up on the screen. I said to my wife, I said, Surely this is a paid actress. Because if it's not, if this ain't a show that's been put on from this person, you're oh man. It was just pure evil. Mean girls doesn't even wrap it up in terms of what this person was doing. She was attacking everyone. Everyone. Now you go on her TikTok page, Brooke Crampton or Crompton or something like that, all her comments are turned off. I saw something last night where she begged the producers of the show not to air this episode. And apparently she's having a or she's pregnant with her ex's kid. And it's just absolutely insane. It is, it was pretty sickening, actually, when you watch this behavior. Stream bullying at its best. And I reckon the public backlash, whoo, man, is gonna really hit home for this person. Alright, so let's wrap it up. We've got season three of Shrinking, Shrinking, starring Jason Siegel. I think it's say his last name and Harrison Ford. I love this show. This show is great. Seriously, it's a cracker of a show. It's on Apple TV, and basically it's in season three at the moment. So what it is, shrinking, right? You're a shrink. Psychology. The show is all based around Jason Siegel. And in you don't see it, but he's basically a solo dad looking after his teenager daughter because his wife was killed in a car accident. And he's also a psychologist. So he's got to battle his own demons and baggage with what happened with his wife, again, solo dad, and he's also a psychologist. So the premise for the show is pretty interesting, and that's what makes it good. It's very engaging, it's very funny. Got Siegel, who's probably one of my favourite comedic actors. He was very good in forgetting Sarah Marshall and all the other movies, like what is it? It's a knocked up as well, he's in. So he's been in a fair few things. So he's pretty funny. Then you've got Harrison Ford as well. It's his boss, and Harrison has the onset of Parkinson's disease. So it's very funny, but it's also a drama as com dramedy, is that what you call it? Dramedy, I think it is. So it's a good show. It's a very good show. Again, season three, and in season two, they actually reunited the dad, Jason Siegel, and the daughter with the guy that killed the wife. And they've got to deal with that. And a bit of an odd turn of events. They basically become mates with him in the end of season two, and I think the end of season three, sort of. So awesome show. Really, really do love it. So highly recommend that show. There's more to it, obviously, but I just think that's a cracker of a show that's on Apple TV. So before we go, a bit of an announcement. So DMR has just ticked over 16 million, million search insight views over on TikTok. So DMR has been in production, or we launched it in 2001 during COVID, during the pandemic. So when you're locked at home for 13 weeks, and I'm a commercial real estate agent. So if you can't show property for that long, you gotta find something to do after hours. Keep yourself from going nuts. So me being movie buff, I started DMI Dewey's Movie Reviews during the pandemic. And I've been a movie buff since I was five years old. My son Axel, my eldest, got two boys, Axel and Bodie. And Axel is definitely following in my footsteps. He's a little movie buff as well. He's starting to play PlayStation. He's very good at as well. Playing Sonic the Hedgehog, and he plays Minecraft, bit of Spider-Man, not violent stuff, but just good, wholesome kid games. So he's doing very well in that. Anyway, I'm getting a bit sidetracked. So started DMR, the page that is on TikTok in 2023, had a very big viral meme that I created, and it was nuts. It was absolutely nuts. So that had six million views, 525,000 likes. It was just insane. Insane. And 12,000 followers off the back of that. So the page itself has got just over 17,000 followers, 17,300. And you can find it at Dewey's Movie Reviews 1. Dewey's Movie Reviews 1. So jump on that. So getting some very good traction, almost at a million likes. It's a very good platform in terms of reach. So I do shorter movie reviews on there, and I'll cut up these clips as well and throw them on there too. But jump over that pace. So search insight views basically means that if somebody searches for a topic, let's say movie memes or interviews, something along those lines, it means that DMR has been suggested as a video and views 16 million times. So it's just insane. So the brand is growing. We're very happy with it. Lead nine is pretty psyched in the background. The logo's litting back up. Pulp fiction boys back on the wall. So it's going to be a big 2026. So we're on StreamYard here, recording in 4K. So this is going to be the stress test to see how that goes. And then we're hopefully going to be getting the guests that have approached DMR and whack them on the show hereafter. So thank you for tuning in to DMR. It's been a while since we've uploaded this to YouTube or Spotify. We're going to be doing that and all the normal audio channels as well, Apple Podcasts. So let's see where this goes. Let's see where this goes in 2026. And as always, leaders on the menji. You've just experienced DMR, the red carpet treatment. Now, get your ass to the movies.
