Hello, hello, hello, how is everybody? This is John Mason. Tomorrow is Mother's Day. And that is the time we pay our respects to all the women in our lives, our mothers and our wives, and our girlfriends, and our sisters, and every other woman that we come across. Happy Mother's Day, ladies. And if we want the best for the women in our lives, we must protect the reproductive rights. There are all these states going around that places the most onerous restrictions on abortions. Like you only have an abortion after so many weeks before you even know the woman even knows that there's a fetus inside of her. And you remembered uh Katie Brett, the senator from Arkansas, who had this very ham bad case of ham acting after Biden's uh State of the Union address. Is that the best Republicans can do? Well anyway, she has this bright idea of a database. She's proposing this bill that would establish a database for all women who are pregnant. Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How is everybody? Hope you're all well. What wonder about the country, but I hope you're well. Well they did it. Those wizards and heroes in the Republican House caucus did it. In the middle of the night, normal people aren't sleeping, they passed the Trump's big, beautiful budget bill. I'll show you the kind of beauties that's in it. Cuts and Medicaid, SNAP, and school lunches for kids. No school lunches for kids. And they want work requirements for for people to receive medic Medicaid and SNAP. Elderly people who might who are also could be sick who need assistance, medical assistance to get around, who need a little extra to purchase food, people who are, like I said, elderly, sick, and probably living in an economically depressed area where there are no jobs, then more cuts of student aid, closing up hospitals in rural areas and senior along with senior centers. Like people in rural areas don't get sick. That's their idea. Is that their idea? I repeal the clean energy programs that so that we can phase out our reliance on on fossil fuels and the funding public schools has always been a favorite of theirs. So all that to pay for tax breaks for V tax cuts for billionaires. Tax cuts for billionaires. I mean they I remember since 1980, during the Reagan era, that's always been the Republican go-to bullshit line. Cut taxes on billionaires and corporations will all prosper. They'll stimulate the economy. It didn't work out that way. How the hell many more yachts or mansions or mistresses do these plutocrats need? And how long should we put up with this? We can't just passively take it. The budget bill is in the Senate, and so call your senators, no matter how blue and how red they are, and tell them this isn't going to work. We can't have this. I depend on Medicare and Medicaid, I depend on VA benefits, I depend on SNP, we depend on our rural hospitals and schools and libraries. Let them know. They might even get the hint. They might even come to the conclusion that Donald that Donald Trump is leading them and the rest of the nation on a path to nowhere. A big downhill slide that will destroy our economy, our nation, and the economies of the all the nations on the planet. And I must point out that Memorial Day is coming up. So while you're having your burgers and your dogs and your beer and your fun, enjoy them. But please remember what this occasion occasion is really about. Why is there a Memorial Day? To honor those who servicemen and women who gave their lives so that we so that we may live. Okay now. Now advertisements.
