I speak today about Tuesday's election victories, and that trump can be beaten.

Hello, hello, hello, how is everybody? This is John Mason. Tomorrow is Mother's Day. And that is the time we pay our respects to all the women in our lives, our mothers and our wives, and our girlfriends, and our sisters, and every other woman that we come across. Happy Mother's Day, ladies. And if we want the best for the women in our lives, we must protect our reproductive rights. There are all these states going around that places the most onerous restrictions on abortions. Like you only have an abortion after so many weeks before you even know the woman even knows that there's a fetus inside of her. And you remembered uh Katie Brett, the senator from Arkansas, who had this very ham bad case of ham acting after Biden's uh State of the Union address. Is that the best Republicans can do? Well anyway, she has this bright idea of a database. She's proposing this bill that would establish a database for all women who are pregnant. Hello, hello, hello John Mason. How is everybody? I hope you're all well. And didn't we have an election last night? Ooh, but that was beautiful. In Philadelphia, Larry Krasner won as re-election as district attorney. Christy Brady won re-election as city controller. And the three judicial retention races for the Supreme State Supreme Court, Wicked and Donahue and Doherty, they all won. And Republicans spent big trying to take back these seats. In New York, Zorhan Mamdani won as mayor of New York. Mikey Sherrill won as governor of New Jersey. Abigail Spanberger won as governor of Virginia. Yep, good old Dixie. And Democrats have a majority in the Virginia House of Delegates. And here's a here's a kicker. In Mississippi, Democrats run enough votes in the legislature to break the Republican supermajority. In the heart of old Dixieland. And in and in California, Proposition 30, the amendment that would allow redistricting of congressionals districts as a response to Trump ordering Greg Gabbott of Texas to redistrict his seats because his congressional districts because Trump decided he was entitled to more members of Congress. Prop 30, Prop 50 passed. There's many other glorious victories in and will too many isn't mentioned. But let's save it a moment. And of course the question is how will Trump react? He's going to be at his usual petty vindictive self. He's he threatened to Trump threatened to withhold public works funds, federal public works funds to New York if Mam Donny is elected. And he was elected, so let's see what happens. Oh another thing about Mom Donnie. I am a Jew. And there's been some concern uh in the Jewish community about what Mom Donny is going to do due to the past uh statements he made. My hope is that uh Mom Donnie, Mr. Mam Dani, pay takes seriously uh the Jewish community's concerns and sits down with them. Anyway, Trump once again showed his true colors. There was a press he had a per press conference in the Oval Office, and some person just fell down in a faint, and everyone was watching over him trying to get an ambulance, and he just stands there behind the resolute desk, like the big stupid lump he is. And don't let's never forget about uh that uh new the Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago at the same night that people were going to lose their snap benefits. People are going to lose their benefits. Lose their ability to put food on the table for themselves and their kids. For what? So that Trump could play the big muscular manly man. Show what a big boss dictator he is. That shows that shows what we're up against. Trump has the courts have constantly urged uh uh Trump to refund the SNAP program with the out of the five billion that's set aside in the uh contingency fund. But he still looked for some excuse to do it. To not do it. So we so let's keep the pressure up. Let's keep fighting him. This is a glorious victory back in this battle, but it ain't over yet. Let us let us keep the fight up. Let's keep in touch with our members of Congress, our senators, our state legislators, uh to urge them to reopen the Congress and refund SNAP. And in the meantime, go on your Google, get in touch with your City Council, your city uh city hall, and find out where you can find a good food pantry you can donate to. I'm gonna keep my eyes open. If there's any good ones in Philly, I'll let you know. I'm more familiar with the one at close where I live from St. Edma's Church. St. Edma's Roman Catholic Church. He has been portrayed as someone who doesn't he doesn't abide by the rules. There are no rules to him. Except the ones he decides. But yes, he is stoppable. He is stand up to a bull.
