I speak about the ICE activity in Minneapolis and the public resistance to them.

Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How is everybody? Hope you're all well. Considering. I have even I hope I've been seeing the videos of the activity going on in Minneapolis of ice agents trying to butt break their way into private homes with little kids in them. And just nabbing people off the street for no good reason. Standing on the str standing on the street. Uh demanding United States citizens show their papers like their Gestapo. Pulling that woman out of her car. And this all this was was after the shooting last week of Nicole Good. A perfectly fine woman was doing her job as a citizen, just living her life. And her and the and the Trump administration, or shall I say regime, is having these the Justice Department or Injustice Department as it should be called have them investigate uh Good and her wife uh over their uh anti-ICE uh pro-immigrant activism. I mean a the poor woman's dead, her love her loved ones are grieving, and they want to do this. And so what if they are engaged in activism? Is activism a crime anymore? It is for this gang of ghouls and goblins calling themselves a government. And ICE is the secret police for the job. But it always pleases me when ordinary citizens are standing up to them and once in a while winning. Like when communities have been people in communities have been banding together, try uh warning people that whether ICE ICE agents are in the vicinity. And some of them they're too they're too scared to go outdoors uh uh do their groceries because they're afraid ice will uh will arrest them for good reason and they have every right to be afraid. And so people have been picking up their groceries for them. That's great, that's wonderful. And here in Philadelphia there's been sightings of ice. And I hope we in Philadelphia band together uh to probably uh to probably to fight against this. I mean, there have been classes available through immigrant rights agencies, like in this this uh in Philadelphia we got juntos. Any ACLU holding classes on what to do if I starts to break into your uh your your neighborhood? Is in your like uh but like don't let them in without a proper judicial warrant. A judicial warrant signed by a federal judge and not by a an administrative warrant from the agency itself. Is this banding together, this forming community, forming alliances that connecting with each other, that's going to help us stand up to ICE and Trump and now all his uh nasty little goblins and that leads me to the election of uh 2026. They always always there's a slogan that's the most important election of our lifetime. They're all important. All elections are important. Whether it's for president or senator or congress or dog catcher, what have you, they're all important. These small localized elections, like last year's elections for county row offices and municipal offices, and it's a special elections for for uh for legislatures and congress. They sh they show how the people are thinking, they show attitudes. And the Republicans in Congress finally picked up on it. The American people, that's us, are turning against Trump. Against everything he's he's doing. Hence the uh passage of the funding for the Affordable Care Act, finally. The health care of millions of Americans should not depend on uh the silly political game playing in uh Washington. I mean it's silly on the surface, but it has real life consequences for us, the American people. And when it comes time to vote, vote. That's all for now. For now, now advertisements.
