Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How is everybody? Well, at long last, Christy Nome is out as Secretary of Homeland Security. Yay! However, Mark Wayne Mullen is a Trump mega loyalist and a totally ignorant, so I don't expect any any change. He's just as ignorant and vicious as Noam. And hopefully the Senate doesn't, even though it's controlled by Republicans, doesn't give him smooth sailing. It is their constitutional duty to whether or not to confirm the president's appointees. So hopefully the appropriate committee will give him a good grilling. And I would prefer that with this administration, this regime, this this basket of gumbags and thugs and wannabe fascists. The seat becomes vacant during the rest of uh Trump's term. Well, we're not missing anything. It's just it'd be just one more nail in Trump's coffin. So, Christy Noam, goodbye. I have to say something about uh the new war in Iran. The yes war. When one nation shoots at another nation, and the other nation shoots at the other eight other nation. That's war. And I have no love for the regime in Iran. There's a dictatorship. And the Ayatollahs running the country are not are just another gang of politicians who want to stay in power forever. I've said that lots of times. But there was no follow-through plan. After you overthrow, kill the supreme Ayatollah, what? They just appointed another Supreme Ayatollah. The real change for the people in Iran will come from the Iranian people itself. And I give them all my support. Stand strong, Iranians, and you will be free. And now I'm all of a sudden thinking about that memo that Trump received from that 17-page memo from that uh gank group of Trump-friendly lawyers who recommend that the president declare issue an executive order, declaring a state of emergency. And they use that as an excuse to uh seize every state's uh voting up operation, every every state's voting system. And I remember when the Republican Party was a party of small government. We can't have big government, whatever the hell that is. I remember there was a time in the 1980 elections when in that county in Philadelphia, Mississippi, not Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, thank you very much. In 1980, Ronald Reagan stirred up memories in a fight to repress the civil rights movement by proclaiming, well, I believe in states' rights. And you know the old saying about states' rights with a code name for for states' rights to repress uh African American civil rights to oppress and to attack uh people of color. That's the s states rights they were fighting for. But it's small government, big government, cut spending, increase spending, taxes spend don't take it seriously. It was it was never serious. They're right about toko big government when it's uh for uh uh uh keeping corporations under control or off or uh defending civil rights of uh all marginalized demographics, or trying to protect uh low-income people from falling further down into the economic abyss. That's what they call big government Republicans. But but therefore small big government when it comes to repressing repressing uh uh repressing workers and uh and minorities big government is okay with them. Like with uh increasing police powers to repress uh minority communities. Uh that was the war on drugs, really. And spending. When Republicans run up huge deficits, it's no big deal to them. But when Democrats uh want to pass a budget, they then they howl about uh massive spending. Oh come back on spending! So that's not really a debate, that's an excuse. So, just remember, in May night on May 19th is primary election day in Pennsylvania. And wherever it is in your jurisdiction, get out there and vote. Voting works. As long as we vote in massive numbers, we can show the people on top that we're watching them, we're paying attention to them, and we ain't putting up with it. So, like I said, get out, pay attention to the real story, the real issues, dig into the background of an issue, and get out there and vote. Okay? Alrighty then, advertisements.
