I speak of the corruption of the Religious Right movement and their association with trump.

Hello, hello, hello, how is everybody? This is John Mason. Tomorrow is Mother's Day. And that is the time we pay our respects to all the women in our lives, our mothers and our wives, and our girlfriends, and our sisters, and every other f woman that we come across. Happy Mother's Day, ladies. And if we want the best for the women in our lives, we must protect their reproductive rights. There are all these states going around that places the most onerous restrictions on abortions. Like you can only have an abortion after so many weeks before you even know the woman even knows that uh there's a fetus inside of her. And you remembered uh Katie Brett, the senator from Arkansas, who had this very ham bad case of ham acting after uh after Biden's uh State of the Union address? Is that the best Republicans can do? Well anyway, she has this bright idea of a database. She's proposing a spill that would establish a database for all women who are pregnant. Hello, hello, hello, John Mason. How are you all? Currently we're in the season of the Omer, uh the period from uh Passover to Slichot, which is the which is the holiday of uh Moses receiving the law from God for the it to the for the Israelites. And part of part of that uh tradition, one of the traditions of the uh the Omer period, is the reading of the Perkaya Vot, otherwise known as Ethics of the Sages, which is low short sweet compendium drawn from the Talmud about how to live an ethical life. I've been currently reading the edition from Rabbi Ramesh Apiro, and in chapter one it says, Do not get cozy with the government. The reason for that statement is rulers will use you for their use you and your religious bodies for their purpose. And as soon as your liability, they'll they'll discard you. For low these decades, I have been following the rise of the religious right movement from the foundings of founding of the moral majority movement of Jerry Falwell, yes, I'm dating myself, to their help in electing Ronald Reagan through all their campaigns against abortion and gay rights and divorce. And and now the same faction has sunk in so low, and their leaders have sunken solo, guys like like Paula White, and any two-bit uh religious hustler who's got following, and they're getting cozy, in spite of what the sages say, with Donald Trump. They have been treating they and their followers have been treating Donald Trump like he's the Messiah, like he's the savior of America. And it shows up in the imagery, the paintings, the AI-generated images they've put out. But now it's backfiring on them. A connection with Trump and the Republican Party has corrupted the movement. Instead of the Jesus of compassion, being kind to the sick and poor and help and powerless, what do they worship? Power over others. They worship hate for anybody who's not them. And a factor of race still shows up. The movement is now called white Christian nationalism. And the Christian word Christian has been used in the campaign by white Southerners against the civil rights movement. See, the current the old religious right movement had its origins not in the abortion fight or the gay rights fight, but in the but in their attempt to find tax uh tax-free status for their so-called Christian schools, which were formed simply to keep white kids away from black kids during the integration of public schools. And and instead of following the Jesus of compassion and kindness, they prefer well what kind of Jesus are they worshiping? Are they worshiping Jesus? Or are they worshiping their power? Their attempts to bully people into submission. And their chosen Messiah, Donald Trump, is notorious for being able to grab, bragging about being able to grab women by their you know, you know what. Was notorious for uh dodging taxes, cheating on his wives, cheating on his business dealings, cheating on his taxes, and cheating on his golf. And that's such a great moral exemplar for them. But now I'm gonna be gross about it, it's biting them in the ass. Their Lord and Savior recently got into a fight with the Pope. And the Pope can condemn the uh lamented rather the the war around the Street of Hormuz. And Trump goes into the way on Truth Social Post. He calls these posts a truth, but I don't have to, neither do you. Anyway, in this post he just rambles on, rambles on about what a loser Pope Leo is. And right after that, he puts out this AI-generated picture of himself dressed as the old Sunday school image of Jesus putting his hands on a sick man, and all kind of people adore him. And of course the f the American flag and and uh and fighter jet uh flies by so of course but but he turned around and said he was being a medical doctor. Have you ever seen guys like that get on medical with those kind of robes? Neither have I and we found about the criticism, he took it down, but he put up another AI post, another AI picture of Jesus hugging Trump. Doesn't that guy learn? And this is the devil uh these Christian nationalists have sold their souls to plus it it's another sign of the mental decay going on with with Trump, along with his physical decay. I mean, we should have seen it. We we all saw it coming off like in the first Trump go around. Always puts out in the middle of 3 a.m. while normal people are sleeping, he puts out these weird uh Twitter posts that he gets his own uh social media thing thing and and plays his little thumbs on playing little thumbs on on that. He fancies himself as Jesus. He it's uh like I said, you've seen it the physical decay in his hands, in his body, the the swelling up of blood around the ankles, the big bruises on his hands, and that rash on the back of his uh right side of his neck. The mental decay should also be obvious. And we're supposed to put up with that uh for the next two and a half years, or do we? In Pennsylvania, May 19th is primary election day. So I urge all of you in Pennsylvania to get out there and vote. And wherever primary election day is it is in your uh jurisdiction or any other kind of election, like a special election to fill a congressional seat, get out there and vote. Don't worry, they pay attention, pay good attention. And let's let religious bodies let there always be a little bit of space between uh government bodies and religious bodies.
