Episode 33
World Day of Refugees is coming up and I thought it would be a great time to hear a first-hand story of migration from a refugee herself. I brought on Desange Kuenihira to share her story of fleeing Congo and Uganada to come live the American Dream. She talks of the adjustments to a new country, how maintaining a positive perspective helped her, and also about her new book coming out on September 27th, "Undefeated Woman."
We end off with Holly Beech from the Idaho Office of Refugees to help us know specific ways we can get involved to help refugees around the world and in our own communities
