Carlow footballer, Niamh Forde, looks back on an historic weekend  where the second smallest county won a national football league division 4 title by beating Limerick in the final in Birr.
Promotion had been achieved so this was the icing on the cake. More challenges lie ahead now and they are hoping to do well in the Leinster junior championship where Carlow will be in a group with Longford, Louth and Kilkenny.
After that, the dream is to play in Croke Park on All-Ireland final day but a lot more has to be done if this is to happen.
