This week's guest is Mark Silverman. In 1989, with the help of his brother, Mark got his life together as he entered college as a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. After college he joined the working world as a salesperson and realized as much as he hated the work, he was good at connecting with people and relating to them. The former homeless addict was soon at the top of the sales charts and living in a multi-million dollar home.
But what followed was imposter syndrome, anxiety, and burnout as Mark worried over about every minute detail and the cards falling down. Mark hired a fitness coach to help him train for a marathon and he discovered with the help of a coach, he could accomplish great things.
Mark went on to have massive success in technology sales for fast growing start-ups and is now a best-selling author, coach, speaker and host of "The Rising Leader Podcast".
