Episode 138!

Joining us in the studio today is Hannah Bottigheimer. Hannah Bottigheimer is a Boston-based writer and former healthcare executive whose work explores motherhood, caregiving, mental illness, and family dynamics.

A mother of four, her life changed overnight when her fourteen-year-old daughter developed psychosis and no longer recognized her.   What began as a terrifying medical emergency became years of hospitalizations, uncertainty, and the complicated reality of serious mental illness.

Through that experience, Hannah began writing about the long aftermath of psychiatric crisis and the way caregiving can slowly reshape identity, family, and everyday life.   Her essays and reflections on resilience and reinvention have resonated widely online where she publishes the newsletter, Private Acts of Disobedience. She is currently completing her memoir titled, "The Last Child"

Tune in to hear Hannah's story of resilience and bringing herself and her family back from the brink through her love and commitment.

Enjoy!
