Growing up in the Wharton home was full of fun, discipline, laughter and Black identity. As the parents of three loving children, Nick and Regina wanted their children to experience things that they didn't experience on their own. Among other things, they taught their children the importance of higher education, and loving people. In this episode, you will hear the voice of Hasani Wharton, the only son and middle child of Nick and Regina. At three years old, Hasani experienced a glimpse of what it felt like to be a Black man in America. With loving parents, prayer warriors and God, Hasani has learned how to navigate in society.
