Houston Travel Nightmare Story

I want to talk about our trip to Houston , right , so this it was a two-pronged thing . It was pretty ambitious , right ? We started , but , mind you , we plan these things months in advance , yeah , right , so we're not like you know what , let's go out here and do this . Nah , like two days ago , we do this months in advance . So what I'm going to do is I'm going to let Liam start off and I'm going to just jump , because you left first . You was the one to leave first .

Speaker 3So my nightmare trip to Houston goes just like this Took a 9 pm flight which got delayed , got pushed back to the point where , long story short , I get to Houston at 2.30 , get to my hotel at about 3 . Mind of mine to say I know I couldn't go straight to sleep because the smoke detector had that beep that goes off every three minutes . And so you know I'm a stickler . I'm not going to say cheap or frugal , I'm just a stickler for money . I do a $100 deposit . I didn't want it to get messed up . So I double-checked with front desk like , hey , your smoke detector's beeping , I'm going to take it off because it's bothering me . They said , cool , you won't lose your deposit , just fix it . So anyway , hold on , I'm not going to let you gloss over that ?
Speaker 1Yeah , I'm not going to let you gloss . Yo , ryan , you took the smoke detector down , yeah , and you went to the front desk and let them know you took it down .
Speaker 3I went to the front desk about , hey , you messed with our smoke detector , right , you're not getting your deposit . So I was like , hey , let me let you know . So anyway , they said cool . So , mind you , it's a long-ass day . Like , by the time I take the smoke detector off , it's about 320 , 325 . You know , you finally almost like something out of a movie , you finally get snuggled in and you're ready to doze off . And next thing , you know , I'm hearing I don't want to imitate I'm hearing moans and groans of sex noises . You know it was like , oh , fuck this . I was like , oh , and so it's about 3.30 and they go into town . And so you know , like just to rewind a little bit , when I went to the room , like I heard Sade playing , but you know , by the time I got in my room it wasn't as loud , it was louder in the hallway actually . So I was like I could go to sleep to this , because it's just simple .

Let me go back to sleep and , sure enough , 4 o'clock , round two come on and it's just like I'm not going to sleep . I think you know I wasn't in the best part of Houston . I'm not going to .

So get out of the shower , order the Uber . It said I'd be here in four minutes . I'm like , oh fuck . So I'm running trying to get my clothes on . Thankfully he went to the wrong address first . Hold on , you ordered the Uber in your drawers . Yeah , I did . That's where you put the clothes .

So I got dressed real quick and he went to the wrong address which actually was good Went to the wrong address and then I was .
Speaker 4So the crazy part was I did the Uber shit , the , what Uber shit . Oh , gotcha With a bride with a , pick somebody up . Yeah , yeah , yeah . And I'm thinking , hmm , they probably not going to pick nobody up , but so I'm going to ride down the road . Ding Ah , another ride coming .
Speaker 4Oh fuck , but I still had plenty of time . But the lady gets in the Uber , she speak . She must have had a long mind because by the time the car got to the corner she was sleeping . So I dropped her off first , then took me to the airport , and normally Reagan airport is really quick Saturday they just keep need to line up the door . I'm like oh man For the check in . Yeah , don't go through security .

I'm going to be good Because we board like 620 , flight 650 . They come stop us with the alert You're late , your flight going to be delayed . I'm like , all right , ain't too bad , Because I was kind of pushing for time anyway . Flight got delayed for about an hour or so . Get on the plane . The plane ride in was pretty cool , but that was pretty much my story .
Speaker 1Boom , I had Friday Night Live the night before . So I was drinking , taking shots with Bob in Haiti , god damn it and Tiny taking shots on live , like throwing them back . And I'm like , listen , I can't get too crazy because I got a flight in the morning , right . So I did that and , mind you , in front of me because I have a bar , and then in front of the bar on the floor was the open suitcase that I was still packing , right , and I thought I had everything together . I've been packing all week , like literally packing all week . Shit come in , I put it in the fucking bag and I'm good , just keep it . Whatever , that shit didn't pan out because by the time we got off , haiti calls me Haiti drunk . I'm tipsy , I'm basically going in , we going in . Then Bob called Now it's a three-way call after the live , so we going in and I'm still packing and shit like that , eating cold ass french fries and chicken wings that I got from the Chinese restaurant before the whole shit started .
Speaker 1Boom , fast forward , went to sleep , slept about an hour and a half , got up my Uber I pre-order my Ubers because it's cheaper , smart and I was going to what you call it . I was going to actually park the car at the airport , but the length of time that I was going to have to leave it there I was like it's cheaper to just take over , so took the Uber . Your man came 6 o'clock on the dot , got to the airport 6.30 . After I got to the airport I'm chilling . I get a text from Ryan . Ryan was like yo , make sure you have your headphones in . Yeah , what the fuck does that mean ? So I'm thinking me being stupid . Did I miss something ? Like I must have missed the text , because I ain't seen nothing that required headphones . So then I opened up the he sends two videos . Got the two videos and it's literally it sounds like a porn movie . Right , he's whatever . First video was dark . Second video was you laying on your side and I was like this is weird .
Speaker 1I didn't think that through it was four in the morning yeah , I'm like this is fucking weird . And then , of course , the caption afterwards like yeah , this is what I had to deal with . Blah , blah , blah . Then I get the alert Right . My flight was supposed to leave at 8 o'clock . I've been at the airport since 6.30 . My flight was delayed until 10.30 . Mind you , we have reservations all over Houston that start at 1 o'clock , including a car rental . But we're going to get to the car rental , but including the car rental . I text everybody . Everybody's like alright . The only smart person out the crew this weekend was Ryan . Ryan was like I'm flying in on Friday , so boom , I get in . This shit is drawing . This is getting long drawn out , right Keep going , I'm going , I'm going to shit out .
