What does it take to produce over 200 films, raise over a billion dollars in Hollywood, and work alongside James Cameron and Michael Jackson? In this episode I sit down with Larry Kasanoff, legendary Hollywood producer, Chairman and CEO of Threshold Entertainment and one of the most unconventional creative entrepreneurs in the world.
Larry is the producer behind some of the biggest franchises in film history, Mortal Kombat, Terminator 2, Platoon, True Lies and Dirty Dancing. He co-founded Lightstorm Entertainment with James Cameron, packaged music video projects with Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones and Elton John, and produced theme park attractions for Marvel, Star Trek and Spider-Man.
He also holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Cornell, and his message to entrepreneurs everywhere is simple: Don't be normal.
