Welcome to Talk Your Shit
Speaker 1And the wife, she's supportive of it. So you know what I'm saying. Like I mean, a big part of it is kind of her as well. So you know what I'm saying. Like I'm rushing from, you know, doing deliveries or running stuff from the thrift store or something like that. She's making sure that the kids get their uniforms situated and all that other stuff or whatever. So I mean it kind of it just works. Cool, she got my back. I fucks with that. Yeah, that's a blessing, yeah.
Speaker 2I'm big bonkers, I'm heavy structured, I'm hung low. If I pull my shit out, this whole room get dark. I'ma tuck my shit, fat finger. Let me tuck my shit. Damn right, I'm gonna tuck my shit, ie in this bitch love.

Speaker 3I'm the one they come to see. I'm the Dr Dre of the shit. I'm the one they come to see when they sick of your shit. I'm the doctor when they're sick of your shit.
Speaker 1I'm the doctor, so you, the nigga that get the credit but don't do the work please sure Look at this, please. They missed each other. Sorry. I'm sorry, ron.
Speaker 3Please stop talking On to the show.
Speaker 1Go ahead. Ron, I didn't realize I was sitting next to an intellectual with them yeah, yeah. Well, we go way back, Like how long has it been? It's been what? Probably? I was a kid, I was a little kid, just a major. Hop your fence to go to middle school. That was cool. Yeah, I remember calling you because I didn't know you was in with, can I say, the store.
Speaker 2Am I allowed to say that? Yeah, Costco.
Speaker 1Because we ordered a couch and they were like, call this number. And I was like I think that's Robert and I called and I hit him with the white voice and I was like, hey, I was trying to set up a delivery and I was with the white voice, right back, right back, and he was like who is this?
Speaker 3Kevin Ellis? He's like nigga yeah.
Entrepreneurial Journey Begins
Speaker 1Yeah, so yeah, I've been doing Costco's deliveries for about 15 years now and kind of branched out to a whole lot of other little things, so you know. I was blessed, you know, found a loophole in life and it's working for me, Nice, nice Me and the fam. So we good.
Speaker 2That's what's up.
Speaker 1That's what we talking about. So how did you even like decide to go the entrepreneurship realm? Well, I don't want to work for nobody, okay.
Speaker 2I mean that's the main thing.
Speaker 1I don't want to work for nobody. I don't want nobody to tell me kind of, you know, I mean I can take you know, orders and stuff like that, but I always kind of wanted to do my own thing. So that's just. You know where that kind of stops it, you know, and I don't want to put my money on like an hourly thing. I wanted to do my own thing when I you know, when I wanted to. So that's where that kind of worked out. But I've always been like a hustler, like even as like a little kid selling candy at elementary schools and you know, hogs and all that. Oh yeah, hogs, hell yeah. So you had the candy house. So you had the candy house. No, I just had the. I didn't have the candy house, I just had the candy duffel bags.
Speaker 2Okay, you know what I'm saying. Okay, he was a nigga.
Speaker 1I was looking to rob for yeah, he was trying to, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3Nah, he got a big ass family. You got your ass. It's a quip up.
Speaker 1That would have fucked you up, that would be Fat kid boy. Yeah, whatchamacallit, yeah, we'd have had all your money.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, as soon as we found out that you liked Whatchamacallit, we would have been having those for show, for sale every day. Get the fat boy, I'm going to back too. So with doing all the adventures you do and everything, well, first tell us everything, all your adventures. Okay, so I own a delivery service, a thrift store. We do like some little sporting apparel stuff, because my kids they into sports. So we do like gloves and compression shirts and T-shirts and all that other miscellaneous stuff. Shit man. We build stuff. You know what I'm saying. We build displays for Costco's and Sam's Clubs and all that other stuff. I do dump runs, I do. I mean a little bit. I don't, yeah, I can't do. I don't know everything. I just know a little bit about a lot, bro, so I got, I can do.
Speaker 2that's how you make your money I can do some of everything.
Speaker 1so you know, you name it I. If I can't do it, let's see Give us something that you had to like take a like bump your head on and like learn on the way, Like what's a lesson you learned? Like something you had, like Just be wary about, like hiring family, okay, so you'll just bump heads. You know what I'm saying. Not saying that they're you know wrong or right. It's just like they've known you for your whole life.
Speaker 2No, they wrong nigga. No, no, I mean a lot of them got like good ideas and all that other stuff as well. I'll say it for you your family don't know me personally, I'll say it.
Speaker 1Nah they not wrong, but I mean like because I wouldn't be here without them as well, though I'm not saying all of them. That part is cool. I'm saying there's bad apples in there.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, there's definitely some bad apples.
Speaker 1They definitely try to take advantage of the tie.
Speaker 3Yeah, they try to, yeah, they try to. That's why them are the ones you got to watch out for.
Speaker 1Right, but if you're just or whatever, and then you just gotta make sure that they don't go into your lane with certain stuff.
Speaker 3I can block them get rid of my task.
Speaker 1You can block them, get them out of there. You been shit damn. So then we ain't gotta cross paths. Yeah, nah, but you gonna see them at. Like you know family functions. You don't go to family functions, no damn why not. On my family they moved.
Speaker 3They don't like you. They don't like you, bro, it's you.
Speaker 1You said, they all left.
Speaker 2Putting three-year-olds in closets when they got out. Hello.
Speaker 3We've been just learning that.
Speaker 1We've been just learning that I look like what I like. All my family's out of New Mexico now. Okay, my brother's in Vegas, albuquerque or something.
Speaker 3Okay, my brother's in.
Speaker 2Vegas. Albuquerque or something Ain't that where you're sitting from.
Speaker 1The town's so small it's not even on the map. Damn they in Hobbs and Carlsbad. Carlsbad, down here, no, no, no. Carlsbad, new Mexico, it's even smaller. Is that like closer towards the Texas border? Yeah, about two hours from El Paso? All right, yeah, ain't too far from there. They used to drive big rigs too, so they used to hit a lot of them.
Speaker 3I don't recommend that to you.
Speaker 2Big rigs. That's good money, I know, but I don't recommend it.
Speaker 1Yeah, you just had it for a backup plan. That's why I still got my CDL. If you didn't know, these are the big rig nigs.
Speaker 3Y'all get it in then, huh yeah.
Speaker 1I mess with that. Yeah, I've been having my CDL for a while too, so you know it's just a backup plan. You know what I'm saying. Like you can always fall back on that.
Building Multiple Business Ventures
Speaker 2That's what's up, man.
Speaker 1Yeah, just a safety net.
Speaker 2That's a hell of a backup.
Speaker 1Hell yeah shit. You can get homeless, you can live in a truck.
Speaker 2All that, that's facts.
Speaker 1What you saying? Microphones to the shirts, to the headphones, everything that you see on the inside of this studio has been moved with a truck, so gotta get some money off. That, this is true. This is true. Uh, how many, uh, how many siblings do you have? Seven of us, seven, yeah, and I got like about 37 nieces and nephews. Oh yeah, we deep bro you ever meet with the.
Speaker 1Wayans. I mean, they could try. You know what I'm saying. Like shit, that's a dope answer. Yeah, they could try. You know shit, reddit. You know what I'm saying. Come on, wayans, we with it. You know when you at. In the age order, though, I'm third. I got two older sisters and it's twins, and then my younger sister and younger brother.
Speaker 3Okay, so you're the oldest, so he went to school with the twins jessica and joseph, and she went to school with oh, you did as well, yeah I'm all three as well.
Speaker 2Yeah, checked up.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think joe was over here at one point when I first moved here oh, my brother joe, yeah, oh yeah, wow boy somewhere.
Speaker 1Then he was like we was talking about. He was like oh, this is a different part of Beaumont, I'm over here, oh yeah. Yeah, he was living out here for a while too. I think he was out here for maybe like five, six years. Yeah, that's when we bumped into each other somewhere. We were like home people or some shit doing something. So how, just a lot of it, though, man, what with being the oldest boy, like how's that? Like you got a whole lot of game to trickle down, yeah.
Speaker 2But I mean, like everybody, we all kind of bounce stuff off each other, yeah because so much of us is just like, yeah, making a whole business out of it.
Speaker 1We all bounce ideas off of each other and all that other stuff or whatever we all motivate each other to do. You know, positive shit. You know what I'm saying. It's not all good, but I mean you know, yeah, we work together as much as possible.
Speaker 1So you know, moms and pops kind of put us in a situation like Us Against the World, type shit. So you know, so that's where you think you guys get it from, Because you got it's a lot of, like I said, you do a lot of community, like the giveaways and stuff Driven and stuff like that. Like, is that where you think you get that from? Yeah, I mean, with the thrift store stuff, man, I get so much stuff that the community pours in to me it's like why not just give?
Speaker 2the stuff back Because I'm going to get it 10 times over. You know what?
Speaker 1I'm saying so it's not going to stop, it's going to keep coming, keep coming. So it's like why not a couple times a year, just open up the thrift store doors and just whoever wants something, just get it. So you know, and I and I'm not the type of person to like blast it out, like, oh, hey, this guy came and got such and such or whatever. I just keep everything low-key. They message me and I'll be like come and get it.
Speaker 1You know, I'm saying I have my workers open up the thrift store. Hey, this person is coming in to get a full bedroom set or couches and all that other stuff, whatever. And I don't, like I said I tell people when I, when I gun and start giving away the stuff. But I don't blast them out like, oh, especially came over and they didn't have no refrigerator, so I gave them refrigerator. Yeah, I don't care about that. You know what I'm saying. And then a lot of times I don't even care if if people come in and they get the stuff and they resell it. I've seen that a lot too which is kind of shady.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, but I don't care though because it's like once I get you?
Speaker 1hey, you might have needed some money to do that. You know what?
Speaker 2I'm saying it's like blocking your blessings yeah, yeah. So that's why you're blessed, so it ain't it ain't?
Speaker 1you know it's shady, but it's like oh well, I ain't worried about it, so you know yeah, y'all need something.
Speaker 3So you know, do you?
Speaker 1receive donations. I love see seeing yeah, we receive donations, okay, yeah.
Speaker 3I'm going to be moving soon, so I will have some like relatively new furniture that I can donate to you.
Speaker 1Yeah, and we're going to get that.
Speaker 3Excuse me nigga, what do you want? We're going to sell that shit.
Speaker 1I mean, before you donate, can I come through until I want? Yeah, but we got everything, though, man. Everything. Like we get a little bit of everything, that's what's up. That's what's up, man. I like that. I like that. What's something in the beginning stages that you wish, like say something you know now that you wish you knew in the beginning stages. Probably, just like if you starting a business man, not necessarily like save your money, but don't go cheap with equipment that you're going to be needing. Like there was so many different trucks that I've purchased.
Speaker 2Oh okay, Bullshit trucks.
Speaker 1Yeah, trying to save a couple dollars here, a couple dollars there or whatever, Just get the stuff that you're going to need for your business to run smoothly the first time, because you're going to get a headache man. Investment first, yeah, the first time. Yeah, the trucks I was getting back in the day was just you know.
Speaker 1you know it was working, but it was, you know, a little more work than it needed to be getting towed on the side of the road and you know, and them tows ain't cheap, yeah exactly, go get some bullshit tires and now you gotta blow out, now you gotta you know what I'm saying like, just put you up some money to make it run smoothly. You know what I'm? Saying Because you're going to run into different headaches, but you just don't want your equipment to be. Yeah, why give?
Speaker 2yourself that headache when you could avoid it. Okay, that's a good one, that's a good one. And then with the thrift store stuff man.
Speaker 1I used to accept everything. Now I don't because, like you know, you'll get some stuff that's not even People try to, you'll get some stuff that's not even People are trying to throw stuff away.
Speaker 1Yeah, you just had me come over here and clean out your house, and now it's just all trash or whatever. But I'm getting paid off of that stuff too, though. So you know what? I'll tell the world how y'all can do it. Y'all can do the same thing. So, with the delivery service, a customer said, for instance a customer will call me from Costco. They'll get like a couch, so the employers will give them my business card. I'll deliver the sofa for X amount of dollars. Once I get to their house they have like an old sofa I'll charge them to take the old sofa, and then I'll just resell it inside of my thrift store.
Family Business Lessons Learned
Speaker 1Once it's at my thrift store. I'll charge you to deliver it from my thrift store to your house.
Speaker 2Most from my thrift store to your house, and then, most likely, you might have an old couch at your house that need to get dumped because it's trash. And I just dump it in trash, yeah, and everybody can do it. Bro, that's a dope puzzle, right yeah?
Speaker 1and everybody can do it. Yeah, you know, all I thought was this nigga washing money. No, yeah. Yeah. He's an MC. Yeah, so every everybody can do it. And you know I'll tell everybody the game. And it's like you know, I've had a couple of friends who who've done the same process, not necessarily to like the full extent of it, but you know they they've been able to do it and they've been successful as well.
Speaker 1So yeah, I like that I've been trying to figure out something to do at the end of this year. I'm like I need some extra income and yeah, okay, a second.
Speaker 3No, oh, oh my God, you should be advertising, bro.
Speaker 1I don't know why you ain't advertising. You said it yeah, these mics. They need to be a little advertising on there, or something like that. Be like NASCAR, right For real, I'll get tatted up, I'm going to be fine.
Speaker 2Y'all can be getting free breakfast in here from the local restaurant.
Speaker 1That's true. Just go over here and tell them that. Don't tell these niggas.
Speaker 2Maybe not you. I'm eating, right, I'm eating.
Speaker 1Y'all should be having like y'all logo on the back of y'all trucks too.
Speaker 3Absolutely Nah they can't do that they, why not you, big brown? I can do it.
Speaker 1Ups will be like yeah, y'all put it on my truck, put it on my truck, put it on the back of this trailer.
Speaker 3And we will put it on your truck, if you let us Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 1I'll get a big magnet. Huh yeah, I like it, I like it.
Speaker 3I told you I'll put a magnet on my car. I don't care.
Speaker 1Stickers. Where your stickers at, bro, in my purse See.
Speaker 3I literally carry stickers. I'll be sticking them on shit. She hit those with the wishbone Wherever right.
Speaker 1Yeah, sorry.
Speaker 3Y'all get on my nerves, love you.
Speaker 1You cannot keep talking shit to me and then saying love you at the end of it. So, along with all the work you do, we also see that you are a very active father. You recently just came back.
Speaker 3Fuck them, kids, hold on they spoiled bro.
Speaker 1Hold on Fuck them kids. Yeah, man I support that message.
Speaker 2I love the baby.
Speaker 1Yeah, the kids are too spoiled, but you know.
Speaker 2Can I ask you a question, sir? What's up bro?
Speaker 1Do you ever get mad at yourself because you realize they spoiled because of you? Exactly yeah.
Speaker 2See, that's my problem.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's what it is. That's what it is. I created my own demise. I didn't realize I was just trying to be a good dad. It's going. It pays off later.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1Does it. You are a restaurant food every night and get her some man.
Speaker 3I'd be mad when they. I'd be mad when they, like when we go to a restaurant and they don't eat all their food.
Speaker 1Yes, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2That's what I'd be mad at, because I know that they're not going to finish it later they like I'll just eat it later.
Speaker 1No, she go my daughter do shit where she go a I'm done.
Speaker 3No, the fuck you not. You can rest it up, leave my girl alone.
Speaker 1Yeah, I try to do that, but man, it don't work. Man, they just not going to eat. They can be hungry. That shit. Now we bite that shit. Lunch, that's dinner.
Speaker 2I tried. They get hungry again.
Speaker 1It don't work like that. They get hungry enough, they will Shit. I hear my. You can eat that. I don't know if you've met Gracelyn, Okay baby, she's running, she's going to hear her stomach growling and be like I ain't eating that.
Speaker 3Nope, because she said what she said, I'm not hungry for that.
Speaker 1How do you find the time to like balance that and fatherhood? Well, sometimes I just take them to work with me. You know what I'm saying, so you know yeah, so nah, but it's uh, I like it. You know I'm saying I coach my son's uh uh, sports teams and stuff like this, so I like it. So you know that's my buddy, right there, he's, he's able to like the same stuff I like and that's cool so you know, I don't know, it just works together.
Community Giving and Thrift Store
Speaker 1You know I'm saying if you, if you like it and you love it enough, you're going to make time for it. So, even though I'm super busy, I still got to make time to do. You know the stuff that they like to do. So you know, yeah, that's what I'm saying, and the wife, she's supportive of it. So you know what I'm saying. Like I mean rushing from, you know, doing deliveries or running stuff from the thrift store or something like that. She's making sure that the kids get their uniforms situated and all that other stuff or whatever. So I mean it kind of it just works cool, she makes them breathe. She got my back, so I fucks with that. Yeah, so you know.
Speaker 2Dang, that's a blessing. Yeah, she helps out.
Speaker 1It ain't just me, you, you know what.
Speaker 2I'm saying like you know, smart man, yeah we got smart man, cool thing going.
Speaker 1You know what I'm saying, so shout out to the wife out there yeah, shout out to your wife we like good wives on this we do.
Speaker 3We like good wives over here. We do. I mean, they cool, we do. We shout it out to good dads. Why we can't shout out to good wives?
Speaker 1Shout out to the good dads out there. Shout out to the good dads out there.
Speaker 3I get him a shout out too. I love a good dad.
Speaker 1Yeah, they should. There's some bullshit ass moms out there too.
Speaker 3Yeah, why you look at this nigga like that Damn. He know why he get on my nerve.
Speaker 1Oh Lord, now what's some advice you would give somebody not starting out but like say they're midway in that shit, get better, just keep going, stay the course. Yeah, it just get better, that shit, it get better.
Speaker 3Right.
Speaker 1If it don't then stop.
Speaker 3That shit For real like yeah man.
Speaker 1If that shit don't get better, just change that shit up. You know what I'm saying? Like, switch it up, and ain't nothing wrong with switching it up. You know what I'm saying. Like, if it ain't working, switch it up. Yeah, but if you're passionate about it, then you just keep going like it's gonna be. You know turbulence, going through shit. You know what I'm saying. Oh yeah, but just going through shit. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1But, just keep going, be happy. I think I said something on Facebook because I went to this big ass house in Utah, I think, and I was like damn, I wish this house was mine. He was like well, nigga didn't work harder to get it.
Speaker 1Damn that nigga spitting facts. I was like I can't even argue with that. Yeah, yeah, he's preaching to the choir Shit. I was like, yeah, I don't want to move to Utah though. Nah, but it's, I don't know, it's cool. You know, it's definitely like I said, it's a blessing to be able to do that stuff.
Speaker 3So all right.
Speaker 1Before I get to the main squeeze what do you got? You guys got anything.
Speaker 3You about to ask him who his favorite rappers are?
Speaker 1You have to ask him if you have a question before that, because somebody needs to know. She don't know how to. I just want to make sure we get there Okay. I got a question Do you like, every time you started a new venture, did you anticipate some type of learning curve or some type of loss to happen before you reached success, or were you going right in and saying, no, this is for this.
Speaker 1I'm in here, jump in, fuck it yeah just go straight in there and a lot of shit ain't work. Some shit do work, Some stuff just don't work. But shit don't be scared to do it.
Speaker 2Shit. I had a question With your ventures. How involved is your wife in as far as the business side of it?
Speaker 1Nah, hell nah, you keep that separate, bro, like initially. Initially it was like, um, yeah, I want you to, you know, help me out with this, this and that, or whatever, but nah, okay, nah, separate the two. Like you know what I'm saying. Like it was just too much clashing. So it's like you know what I love this and I love that I can love that. Two separate. You know what I'm saying. So you know, if you try to push it in there, then it's, you know, sometimes it ain't gonna work. So, and I found that it don't work, so I'd rather just love you this way.
Speaker 1And then my business is that way I found out that I love my wife, but I can't afford afford her oh. Jesus, I can't, I can't employ her. It's hard. Yeah, she still, she still helps, but, you know, not to the, not to the full extent of what I would probably want. Yeah, and because I'll put too much pressure on as well, yeah, so she'd be like no, fuck out of here with that, but kudos to you for recognizing that and not wanting to put too much pressure on her.
Speaker 1Yeah, well, I mean we've been together. What 15 years. This going to be our 10th year wedding anniversary.
Speaker 2Congratulations With.
Speaker 1September. So yeah, nah, man Shit. First couple years was rough and then it was just smooth sailing after that. So yeah, she just she know, yeah, she just she believed in what the fuck I had.
Speaker 1Going on, you know, I'm saying like, and that'd be the hardest part, it's like nigga you want to do deliveries, nigga, get the fuck out of with that shit, regular job, yeah like yeah, go, yeah, like like real talk, like no, you probably need to go get your warehouse driver go to ups or something like that and, you know, not knocking that because everybody has their own, you know but yeah, you know for to stick with it. That was kind of cool.
Speaker 2No, I just think women like shit that they know is concrete. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1It takes a special type of woman to be able to deal with the abstract Like oh, nigga, this may work.
Speaker 3may not work, it's because by the time we got to you, we done went through so many different relationships that wasn't concrete.
Speaker 1But I'm not your past, so don't hold your past against me, against me. That's a whole different episode.
Speaker 3Oh, we gonna go there on another episode. Absolutely, absolutely. I need another drink.
Speaker 2You're gonna need the bottle.
Speaker 3He's talked to me the entire time I've been gone.
Speaker 1He didn't see you Apparently, apparently. That's funny. What you got on the horizon coming up, anything large at all. Yeah, I got some stuff, what you got on the horizon coming up anything.
Speaker 2I should all keep to the rest.
Speaker 1Yeah, I got.
Speaker 3I got some stuff lined up, but I keep stuff yeah yeah, yeah, I got that's right so that's the way to go but whatever it is best to learn once you start telling your dreams, then it just be.
Balancing Business and Fatherhood
Speaker 1Yeah, you know people be like alright, cool. Like I was playing Call of Duty a couple nights ago and somebody told me some shit that I was about to do. I'm like what the hell? Well, look, it ain't going to go through now. But I was about to get ready to in Riverside there was a little property, right, they had a little lake on there. I fish a lot, bro, okay, so I was going to buy the lake and then put like little condos on there.
Speaker 1Oh shit, Like the tiny houses yeah, and I was just gonna do like some airbnb stuff for it, but it fell through because the well I couldn't get the the well on the property to pump through there so I would have to buy two different properties to get just to do that.
Speaker 2Yes, I just, I scratched it. But yeah.
Speaker 1So the guy told me on call of duty what the hell I was gonna do that's, that's crazy, that's kind of scary. Nah, it was some dude from high school or whatever, but it was just like. So I just threw that out like you know what. Oh, I ain't going to mess with that, so you can't tell everybody what you're going to do. Nah, I feel that yeah you got to keep some stuff close, Alright. Well, we'll be watching, that's for sure.
Speaker 3Absolutely and praying for you oh yeah, I fucks with prayer.
Speaker 1Jesus said Danica, honey, okay, I need that on the shirt.

Speaker 1What is it? And I'm watching you, Robert we do this every, every, every end of talk your shit. Okay, top five dead or alive rappers, rappers yes, rappers alright, we got Pac. Yes, pac, up there, we got. I'm sorry, is this an order or you? Just no fucking matter.
Speaker 1We're parked in there. Nope, nope, you know what. I'll probably get my order after. Okay, so we got Pac, we got Snoop, we got probably Nipsey Hussle. We got probably Nipsey Hussle. We got probably Jay-Z, just because he's like super influential with the shit, and then maybe who else would it be? Maybe, like I don't know, I don't know, we might Just one more.
Speaker 3Anybody First hand come on.
Speaker 1Somebody like today. Who do you think can go on the list Today? Yeah, I mean, kendrick is cool, but Fuck it, kendrick. Okay, kendrick, it's a very West Coast list.
Speaker 3It's a wonderful list. Yeah, it's a real West.
Speaker 2Coast list Very, very wonderful list.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's a real West Coast list I mean even Jay he wrote a lot of Trey shit. Yeah, I like Jay-Z just because you know he kind of changed the game a whole lot too.
Speaker 2And he's still going.
Speaker 1Business-wise and all that other stuff, whatever. Not only that, he was able to flow. I'm a businessman, yeah, business is booming, and all that other stuff, or whatever. So you know I like that. So the running thing with this is yeah, pac's been up there, pac has to be on the list, because I don't understand.
Speaker 2When Pac isn't on there, what do?
Speaker 3people be thinking Like, are you?
Speaker 1like is you cool? What's wrong with you? Like is you cool, what's wrong with you?
Speaker 3Yeah, you a weirdo bro.
Speaker 1Thank you, you a weirdo. If Park ain't in your top five, is you cool? I must be a weirdo. Who's?
Speaker 3your top five? No, no, no. There was only one guy who came here and I understood his top five not having Tupac in it and it was Dirty Birdie.
Speaker 1And it was because he's I'm gonna check him out, fire.
Speaker 3But he was here and his top list was like so like profound that I was like damn, I can't even argue with this man because he gonna shut me down he changed the way you look at uh top five he who, who was his top five off the topic of y'all?
Speaker 1remember he had a top 15.
Speaker 3And it was like artists almost damn from the conception of rap on down.
Speaker 2He's a rapper, but he is a phenomenal artist.
Speaker 1So he was able to tell us who Dirty Birdie is. Shout out to Dirty Birdie man, I'm going to check you out, you have to.
Speaker 3I'll actually send you his page. He was dope. His top five was fire. I'll send you that episode so you can see it. But next to him you got the best oh okay, you said Park first.
Speaker 1No, because he's from California and his makes sense.
Speaker 3He's from.
Speaker 1California and makes sense.
Speaker 3I don't give a god damn okay, and I don't care, and I don't care, and don't say to me again on another episode. I don't know what you laughing at.
Speaker 1Philadelphia but.
Speaker 3I've been seeing you this whole time.
Speaker 1Who's your top five and why is Pac not in your? Not my top five, cause my. You got like Dale the homo, the homo, the homo.
Speaker 3Hello, keep the sneak right hey, calm down now.
Speaker 1Now my top five is more. So what resonates with me? Gotcha, right? I'm gonna just be honest. When Pac was popping, I was like seven years old. I was not, and I'm never part of no gang culture, right, I'm not thugging.
Speaker 2Thugging at seven. I'm not thugging at seven.
Speaker 1But that don't resonate with me, gotcha. So who is your top five? See, my top five is revolving.
Speaker 3Okay, gotcha.
Speaker 1So it never really stays the same. Yeah, because I go off of what I'm listening to at the moment. But I can tell you right now, yeah, so, but I can tell you right now, malice is going crazy, right now, that nigga rapping, rapping. Yeah, no, malice, yeah, he's going.
Speaker 2That nigga's rapping, rapping, rapping. He's back to Malice. He's back that motherfucker. Yeah, he bodied that whole fuck. Yeah, he was on Joe Budden. They was asking him.
Speaker 1He was like there's like no Malice. He was like Push, you can just get off the song yeah, and Push is cold too, like you, know, but Mal is, yeah, he just kind of different right there, but right now Kendrick is my number one. K-dot I can respect that number two, one of my top five. I don't care, even if he got bodied by Lupe.
Speaker 2Royce is one Royce, be spittin'. He didn't get bodied, he just never tried.
Speaker 1He didn't try.
Speaker 2He never responded. That's not good. He did not.
Speaker 1I got Royce at two. Even though he let me down, I still got cold. A lot of cold music resonates with me, especially that Friday Night Lights Fresh a lot of, even shit off KOD. What's even worse, at the condom in my pocket.
Speaker 2That shit hit me.
Speaker 1A lot of what Cole does resonates with me and it directly reflects points in my life.
Speaker 2I can relate to being a virgin or something to be embarrassed about.
Speaker 1The good news is nigga you came a long way. The bad news is nigga you went the wrong way, drake ain't going there at all nigga. Number four to me is X. Dmx is always dmx um and, and, and uh dmx, just because to my childhood that's something me and my sister used to bond over okay, so so when I think of x is like me.
Speaker 1We used to be in the room rapping fresh my flesh, butter, my blood, and then it was hot like so that and then top. I know way too many people like in here that I didn't know last year. Yeah, I'm not doing really, drake is not in my top 5 he's in my top 10. You got Drake in your top 5. Drake's top 3 ain't for you?
Speaker 3are you for real top 3 niggas? You cool, you trolling us, right, he trolling us right, he trolling. He trolling, wayne is one got that new fucking album Little Wayne to the bank. No mask, I'm thugging that new album Little Wayne shouldn't have did that. Nigga troll, who was your last one?
Top Five Rappers Debate
Speaker 1Maurice. Last one is I don't know. It's kind of hard. If I had to think, I'd probably put Snoop in my last spot because I would say everything from the Game is to be told it's to be sold not to be told up until.
Speaker 2The Gangster yeah, like that after that.
Speaker 1Yeah, after that that's Prime Snoop, so Snoop just started trying shit.
Speaker 3Yeah, it just went a different direction. He said I'm 30 years in fuck y'all, it was still better than Lil Wayne's last album.
Speaker 1And then my honorary mention is Jay-Z. Jay's my honorary.
Speaker 3I don't care.
Speaker 1Peace to the God. Don't talk about kids.
Speaker 3I've got a whole video about how Lil Wayne shouldn't have did that, and he on tour. You need to see a million, million, million shit, because don't you say nothing in them new songs.
Speaker 1Stop talking about Wayne. That man is sick, you can tell he not in you.
Speaker 3Out there he look like an alien.
