Parashot 27& 28: Tazria & M'tzora (2025) Vayikra (Leviticus) 12:1-13:59 and 14:1-15:33

This is a double parashah read together in regular years. There is a lot of information concerning G-d's instructions given to the priests on how to address physical and spiritual illnesses, disease, and ritual uncleanliness. Although the methodology involved the sacrificial system and sometimes isolation/quarantine the concepts are just as applicable today. Indeed, if we followed G-d's instructions for assessing, treatment, and prevention of physical and spiritual disease and impurity, our world would be a much healthier place in more ways than one!
