Parashot #29 and #30 (Acharei Mot and K'doshim Vayikra (Leviticus) 16:1-20:27
This is another double portion read together in regular years. Today I will discuss some of the deeper ramifications relate to the sin and death of Nadav and Avihu, and how we may avoid committing the same "type" of "unauthorized fire" before G-d.
In parashah #30 I will discuss some of the less obvious ways in which we must refine our lives with G-d's help and guidance from the Ruach HaKodesh in molding ourselves into the community of Israel; that is a true believer defined in Romans 3, John 14, and Revelation that describes the Seven-Fold witness as the definition of a true believer.
