Join me, a literal soap expert, as we talk all things related to Bold and Beautiful, Young and the Restless, General Hospital & Days of Our Lives. I have had the pleasure of attend the Daytime Emmys, an occasional after party, was featured annually in Soap Opera Weekly and have met many of our beloved daytime stars in person, including the queen of soaps, Susan Lucci. Welcome to my podcast (and YouTube Channel) Soap Talk with Karen. I have loved watching soaps since I can remember and have declared myself an expert. Avid Daytime Drama viewer. An attendee of many Daytime Emmy Award shows, before and after parties and guest and contributor to Soap Opera Weekly Magazine! I watch “my stories” from the inside out and aspire to share my thoughts, views & perspective with other soap hard core soap fans. Podcast brought to other platforms by Buzz Sprout can be found on other platforms as well as uploaded on YouTube under this channel. We will follow a format of a topic chosen in accordance with current storylines, Comings & Goings and thoughts on recasts, Character fashion do’s & don’ts, spoilers and who is guesting on Maurice Bernard’s State of Mind show. Hopefully, in the near future we can include interviews with, not only some of the actors, but those behind the scenes as well. Anyone connected to the world of soaps. We as those who comment to be respectful. Take all of the potshots and feel free to critique the behavior of the “Characters” but making, mean, disrespectful and personal potshots at the actual actors will not be permitted and those comments will be removed. We will conduct the show in a process manner and hope all of the soap fans out there on social media will tune in to listen and participate. So take a moment to like, subscribe and participate. Is there something you would like us to “talk about”? Feel free to make suggestions! Lastly, please be kind. Although, this has been a longtime dream of mine, I am somewhat new to the podcast world and hope to improve and evolve over time!
