1) Naomi ‘happens’ to have an important relative in Bethlehem. (v.1)

2) Ruth ‘happens’ to take the initiative out of loyal love for Naomi. (v.2)

3) Ruth ‘happens’ to glean in Boaz’s field. (v.3)

4) Boaz ‘happens’ to be a god-fearing man. (v.4)

5) Boaz ‘happens’ to take notice of her. (v.5-7)
