Receiving God's Help for Your Household 3

If the renewed spirit and the Spirit of God in you are not finding expression, you are in trouble. If Christ is not formed in your soul, then He can't find expression in your life. The believer must learn not to live a life geared towards satisfying the flesh and the believer must not put confidence in the flesh, else, such person forfeits God's help for them.

In the name of Jesus. Sinners by your power. And let Jesus be glorified. Thank you, dear Father. Lord, I ask for utterance. Make me speak as your oracle. You know the needs of your people. Speak. As your people hear your voice. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Mama. In Jesus' mighty name. You're in the name somebody. Let me wake up somebody to your night to your life. You're working this money. You're working with this money. God's purpose for this service will be accomplished in your life, in my life. In the name of Jesus. Listen, for every service, there is a solution for somebody. May your eyes be open to see this morning. May your hearts be open to comprehend what the world, what the Lord is saying to you this morning. In the name of Jesus. So it is in Jesus' name. We're going to continue from where we stopped last Sunday on the subject, knowing God's help. I mean receiving God's help for your household. Three Sundays ago, we started with our need to be generationally minded. When you are mindful of the fact that your family is not just about you or your spouse alone, you'll be careful of how you live. If you understand that your decisions and your actions can positively or negatively impact your children and generations unborn. I told you that the patterns you see in people's lives today, negative patterns, did not just happen. Patterns are transferred through beliefs. Patterns are transferred through attitudes. And knowing that as long as you can hold on to that wrong belief, you always find yourself in a certain end. You understand what I've just said. Because of their own personal experience. Now the same thing that happened to them in marriage will happen to their children. Do you know why? Put into the children a wrong way of treating a man. And it will look like confirmation that mommy said so. But when you are generational minded, you won't allow your pains to affect your decisions and your actions, knowing that you'll be hurting generations unborn. And we went further. And put on the new man, created to be like God. That's what we shared last Sunday, and we're going to continue from there this morning because this is where the problems of believers are. Many believers are driving their lives with a refurbished old man. Do you understand? The old man is your old human nature that was crucified with Christ. But we oftentimes resurrect the old man, repent it, perhaps it, and begin to live by it. An old man is an old man. The best an old man can do is to pretend to be who they are not and to be what they are not. Because the old man has his own conduct. Let's read that scripture again. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 22 to 24. That you put off, who should put off? Oh it's like there is protest going on here. Are we sure? That you do what? Who will put off? Nobody is going to do it for you. That you put off concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitfulness, and be renewed where? In the spirit of your mind, verse 24, and that you now put on the new man, which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. Put the old man off, put on the new man. The old man has his conducts. The new man has his lifestyles. If you are going to enjoy God's help consistently for your household, you must put off the old man. See, the greatest resistance to your help is you. That's your old man. Because the power of God that will help you, that will solve the issues of your life is not going to come from outside, it's going to come from within. Ephesians 3 20. Unto him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above what we ever ask or think, according to his power that walks well within us. So the power flows from your spirit through your soul to help you. Listen, church. Listen, church. If the Holy Spirit in you is not finding expression, you are in trouble. When Jesus was talking to disciples, he said, I will give you what? A comforter. In um old King James, he said, I'll give you a helper. I will give you what? A helper. And you see, he gave us that helper at new birth. But that helper dwells within our spirit. He needs to find expression to be able to help us. The greatest obstacle to the help of God through the Holy Spirit is your flesh. Not any witch or wizard. If your flesh dominates your soul, the Holy Ghost has nowhere to stand in order to find expression in your life. The Spirit of God within your spirit cannot work in your life until it has a place in your soul. Because it is the content of your soul that can find expression in your life. Whatsoever is inside your soul is what will guide your actions, guide your decisions. Whatever is inside your soul that will determine what you see and what you say. Whatsoever is inside your soul. That's why the Bible says Paul the apostle talking, they said, My little children, over whom I labored, I traveled until Christ is formed in you. Formed in you. That in you is in your soul. If Christ is not formed in your soul, Christ cannot find expression in your life. You are always full of bitterness. Christ is not yet in your soul because Christ can't dwell with bitterness in your soul. Forgive. God forbid. You know what in then do me. No, Christ is not yet in your soul. He's in your spirit, but he's not in your soul. It is who dwells and what dwells in your soul that determines the quality of life that you live. You know the challenge? Many of us don't have Christ in our soul. Yes, we are praying for the results that Christ in the soul can give. Do you understand that? The help of God become visible in your life when Christ is in your soul. Because he tells you what to do, he moves you to take certain steps, he moves you on what to do. But if you dwell in your flesh, he can't dwell there. That's why in your spirit he can be grieved. When the whole of your attitude centers around your flesh. Do you know what church? You and I are not meant to need miracles. Miracles should be signs for the unbelievers. That's why check any church globally. No matter the kind of miracles that happen through that pastor, when he preached in the church, the miracles he will have will not be like the one that happened if it's on a crusade field. Go and check it. The same pastor that organized crusades, blind eyes see. Um, the sick are here. Mighty miracles happen. They will bring blind people to church, they will go back home this the same way they came. Because out there, God wants to show the unbeliever something that he is God, but in here, he wants to build you up to be like him so that you can go out there and show the world who God is. Is somebody getting something? So that's why we have to put off the old man. If you don't put off the old man, you will live to please your flesh instead of living to please God, and anyone who is living to please the flesh has rejected God's help. Because the Holy Spirit will remain locked up in your spirit, he can't come out to act. I had the story of somebody, a hot-tempered man, rich man, somewhere in the north. He had mools, two mopuls, and he got upset with them that I don't know what they said they did for to him. So he got upset with them while those mopols were inside the security house, he locked them in there and took the key inside that night. They entered the compound. So they were trying to bring down the moppels, but when they saw that the mopoes were locked inside, they left them there. Okay, no, he locked them there and leave the key at the so and he told them, so those ones are what kind of thing is this? So Amrobas came, they dealt with him, beat the hell out of him, collect everything they wanted to collect, and left without doing anything to the Mopo. Now, Mopo were there to protect him, but anger made him lock them over one offense, which we don't know, and they remained there. Do you know that that's similar to what we do to the Holy Ghost by our lifestyle? We lock him up, his grief, but he respects your will. Do you know what the Bible says? That the spirit of God will not always strive with you. He won't be dragging with you. Say, you go do ammo, you must do amount, you go do ammo. Uh-uh. He's a gentleman. He respects your will. You see, God wants you and I to live in the blessing. A blessed man, a blessed woman, enjoy God's constant help. Even when there is trouble, the comforter will be there for you, the helper will be there for you. Do you know the consciousness of this? That is what makes Paul the apostle say certain things. Even when Paul had no money, he didn't feel broke. Hello. Let me show you something before we continue. Second Corinthians chapter 6. I think second that should be from verse 4 to 10. Let me show you a few things. But in all things, we commend ourselves. Can we read it from NOT, please? See, the consciousness of the Holy Spirit in you will never allow you to define yourself based on what you are going through. Because the helper in you, we keep reassuring you that no matter what is going on, all is well. All things work together for good. For them that love God, for them who are called according to his purpose. He said, In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. Now look at it. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. Verse 5. We have been beaten, been put in prison. You see, when Jesus told the disciples, he said he's going to send them a comforter, a helper. It's because he knows they will need one. He knows that they will need that. He said, in the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheers. I have overcome the world. So the one by which he overcame the world is the one who he has the one he has sent to you as your helper. Walked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. Now, if a believer has to find himself in this thing, they will say he's not anointed. Say, is God with him? Is God with her? That's one of the lies of the devil we have believed. Go on. Go on, media. We prove ourselves by what? Not about how much money we have. Not with the kind of color we use, not by the quality of the clothes we wear. We prove ourselves by what?

But look at verse 7. We faithfully preach the truth. God's power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense. Verse 8 We serve God. God. Now look at it. Whether people honor us or despise us. Whether they slander us or praise us. I don't like how Pastor Duke talked to me. I'm not doing anything in this church again. Sorry, bro. Sorry, sister. That's ignorance. That's what we serve God whether people do what? Honor us or despise us. Whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us imposters. You know that thing can be very, very painful. Child of God, you know you are being sincere. You know you are honest. You know you are telling the truth, but there are already meanings to it. Verse 9. We are ignored, even though we are well known. This is a mindset. We live close to death, but we are still alive. We have been beaten, but we have not been killed. Verse 10, we stop at verse 10. Our hearts ache. Listen to this. But we always have joy. See, nobody should see your tears. Am I talking to somebody? Your tears are expensive. They are instruments of worship. So don't let people see it in pain. It's too expensive. Is that true? So there are some things about you people shouldn't be seeing always. May God give you understanding. Go back. Verse 10. Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others, which even make them become rich physically. We own nothing, and yet we have everything. Oh, you look at Pastor Dan, finish. They act like Pastor. He might not own anything, but he has everything. That is the reality of who we are in Christ. See, if you have this consciousness and understanding, people will not easily offend you. You will understand that they are acting and living according to their own level of understanding. And you, by your revelation. You ignore me, you despise me. No problem. I am known. It is not by your recognition that will make me feel known. Yes, sir. You say, Pastor. True, true, nobody knows me. Now you think so. Now you what? Think so. God forbid. Somebody say, God forbid. If your enemy die and they put obituary, you could not say they know you. You know, people don't show up most of the time when everything is okay with you. God forbid, or not you. When they hear negative news, oh this particular brother, this particular sister, this particular boy, I know him. Listen, as the Lord lives, whom God has ordained you to be, no matter what happens, you will show up to be it. In the name of Jesus. So understand this. This thing we have just read is the mindset of the man that has put off the old man. He wasn't seeing defeat. He didn't see beating as a problem. He didn't see hunger as a problem. He didn't see the challenges that many of us as Christians will just sit. God, wait till I do you. Are you still in heaven? I see, say now you put him there before. No, no, he's still where he is. He has not changed. And he will not change. If you don't put off the old man, you'll be saying wrongly. And you will keep living your life to satisfy your flesh. And do you know what? A man living his life or her life to satisfy the flesh has unconsciously rejected God's help. Do you know what? Every of your conduct is a seed which either positions you to receive God's help or reject it. Galatians 6, verse 7 to 9. Quickly. Galatians 6, verse 7 to 9. Go back to New King James. Do not be deceived. Let me tell your neighbor, don't be deceived, though. God is not mocked. For whatever a man does what? Sows that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap what? Corruption. What he will get from the flesh are things that can be destroyed. Are things that can be terminated. Are things that can be ruined. There are things that can spoil. There are things that can wither. But it's corruption. Things that won't last. Things that will be for a season. Things that will be for a while. He said, but for he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the spirit, will of the spirit reap what? Everlasting life. Verse 9. Verse 9. And let us not grow weary while doing good. For in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. So understand this church. Things are tough. But what you need to ask yourself, where am I sewing into? Who am I pleasing? My attitudes, my character. Who is it pleasing? Your flesh. You know, I was sharing with my son, precious. I said, years ago, even in this year, those who are old in the church will have heard me talk like that. I said, Jesus said, pray for your enemies. And I said, if you say we should pray for our enemies, by what we have had, I've had before, that I learned in the past. You say, pray that they will have boil. Pray that they will have cancer. Pray that they will have this, that, that's prayer. But that's not what Jesus said. I was sowing to my flesh. Because as at that time, the only thing that will give me joy is to see anybody that doesn't like me suffer pain. So that they will know I'm a man of God. You are a witch. Anyone that delights in the pain, in the suffering of other people is a witch. Doesn't matter the title he carries. God does not delight.

The Bible says when he was being dealt with, he allowed himself to be taken as a sheep to the slaughter. He did not revile when they were saying all manner of things. He didn't curse back.

And he now told us, live like me. Bless those who curse you. See, if you don't like that statement, you are in the flesh. The only thing that will not agree with that is your flesh. Because the flesh can never love those who hate them. Am I talking to somebody? Yes, sir. And that's why when we talk about vengeance, God of vengeance, we must every enemy of my soul pie, pie. Your flesh wants that. Your flesh wants that. Hear me, child of God. If Paul, who was Saul, has been pied, we would have missed a lot in the New Testament. Saul that became Paul persecuted the church. He was going from place to place. I will show you something from the Bible. But do you know what? He thought he was doing it for God. There are people in the church, not just house of this range, different churches, causing trouble in the church, and they think they are defending God. But they are operating in their flesh. In flesh. So to sow into your flesh means you have faith or confidence in the flesh. You trust more in what flesh can do for you than in what God can do. That's why I want to say, forgive. Say, God forbid. You know what this person has done to me. You know the pain they have caused me. No, I won't forgive. In fact, God go punish them. God go do this. You are cursing. Because you have more confidence in the flesh than in God justifying you. You create problems because you want to defend yourself. It's because you have more confidence in the flesh than in God's justification for your life. You know my latest conviction. I borrow it from one of my mentors in the faith. No attack, no defense. If you say Pastor Sanjo is a devil, no defense. If you say, Pastor Sanjo is this, no attack. It's your opinion. Is what? Your opinion. The God who says, I should not cause you back knows how to justify me. He might not be in the way that I want, but he will do it. Let God be true, and every man a liar. Every tongue speaking against you in Jordan must come under condemnation. What does it mean? They will be found to be liars. Let God do it. Trust in his process, not your activity, not what you do in return. Doing that means you have more confidence in the flesh. You have excused yourself from God's help. When you operate in the flesh. Philippians chapter 3, verse 3 to 7. Philippians 3, verse 3 to 7. Quickly. For we are the circumcision who worship God. We are in the spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and do what? And have no confidence in the flesh. Verse 4. Though I also might have confidence in the flesh, he was talking about when his confidence was in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so that means I have more quality CV. Any one of you. It is because of their qualification. Confidence in the flesh. Let's learn from Paul. Go back. Though I also might have confidence in the flesh, if anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I'm also. Now look at his confidence in the flesh. Circumcise the eighth day of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews concerning the law, a Pharisee. Hold on, hold on, hold on. I've seen somebody told me, said, Pastor, I'm an evil man. I can't fail in business. Say, evil men don't fail in business. Chai. Confidence in the flesh. So the only reason why you think you will not fail in business is because you're an ego man. See if God loves that person, because as he talked, he came to me for prayer. I don't know which prayer I go pray again. Since in an evil man, I said, May God go with you. The God of your fathers. May they help you. You came for prayer. And you're saying, you're an evil man. You can't fail in business. Why are you wasting my time? Go back. Go back to where we are reading. Circumcise the eighth day of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews, a thoroughbred Hebrew, undiluted Hebrew. No mixture. Do you know some people? They just want to be American citizens. They have been there now for ages. Nothing has citizen for them. Because the only reason why they want to, they believe that when I get to America, America is a good place. Everything just works for you. If God wants to use you, you go here where? Except God has no serious program with your life. If you have a serious program with your life, you would go get there. You labor. You now by yourself, you will carry yourself. Come back to Nigeria. Verse 6. Concerning zeal, can you hear that? Persecuting the church. So what he was doing against the church was out of zeal. Zeal for God. Concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. Church, please look up, listen to this carefully. Oh Lord, why now? You must bless me. I never do anything bad to anybody. I've never destroyed anybody's life in my life. So God. For that reason, the thing we are not known must not know me. Child. The thing we know you. Because your confidence is in the flesh, is in your goodness, is in your righteousness that the Bible calls a filty rag. Go back. But what things were gained to me. All those things he said used to be gained. They used to be the reason for his confidence. Hey, hey, church. Don't deceive yourself, please. Think about it. What is the source of your confidence? I'm a petroleum engineer. Oil and gas, now we get out. One of my great mentors, he said, he said, somebody called him and told him they wants to bring him to the board of directors in an oil and gas company. They want him to be part of the business. He said, and that as a director, they are they will allocate some shares to him. So he'll be making money. He said, when he began to pray, he lost peace. He lost his peace. So that means God did not approve it. He said when they called him, he said, he said, he told them, you I'm coming for your meeting. And God now says, son, where are you going? I will say, I'm going for all I gas meeting. He said, God will say, I will gas you there. See, not everything that seems good is for you. That's why in this journey we live by the Spirit. The Holy Ghost wants to tell you what is yours and what is not. There are things you desire, they are not meant for you, they are for another tribe. God told Joshua, tell the people. What I've given to a tribe, another tribe should not ask for it. It's not everything you desire that should be yours. Am I talking to somebody else? Oh Lord, whatsoever I desire. And don't misquote that scripture. When you have put on another man, I mean your new man, your desire will align with his desire for you. Not desire born out of your flesh. I see Pastor Duke rides a Lexus. I say, Pastor Dukwe, don't Right leg source pastor, which work when they do, how much money when they make, oh Lord, do my own your flesh, you are in competition, you are envious. Church, church, let's not deceive ourselves. If you walk in the flesh, you'll be living in the in envy and you'll be denying it. Be truthful. How many times have you seen somebody you love their outfit, but you criticize it? See, I seen be in dark clothes. And see, inside the waka like. If you are going to be truthful to yourself, most of the time you criticize what you like. When there is envy. Just to convince yourself because you know you don't have it, to make it look like an ordinary thing. It's a flesh. So the consequence of sowing into the flesh, the consequence of sowing into the flesh or having confidence in the flesh is corruption. That means you have rejected God's help and your activities, the things you are doing based on your flesh will only lead to corruption. There will be harvest, but the harvest can be destroyed. There will be harvest, but the harvest can wither. That is the condition, the situation of many believers. You see, many believers all over the world working in the flesh are busy creating problems for themselves and they are still asking God for help. May the Lord give us understanding. Now, let me show you one of the consequences of sowing into the flesh or having confidence in the flesh. If you keep doing that, the kind of people that will be naturally attracted to you are people who are also cannot. Watch it, watch it. Anyone who gossip here, forgive me. I don't mean to insult you. But if you gossip, you will naturally be attracted to gossipers. Somebody that when they come say, have you heard? Because deep calleth unto deep, flesh calleth unto flesh. Do you know the danger of that? Such people, they will act as if they are helping you, but they are helping to destroy you. Have you heard what social person said about you? They are talking as if they are for you, but they are contributing to the bitterness in your heart. Listen, including yours truly, that is preaching. Nobody likes to hear that somebody is saying something that is not true about them. No matter how much you are in the spirit, you temporarily strain to the flesh. It will take God to bring you back. Am I talking to somebody? I told you my story after mama's passing, and I decided to remarry. And they said, Somebody, some people who are supposed to be close to me started saying all manner of things. And one of them hurt me so much. I said, Oh Lord, let what happened to me happen to them so that they can teach us how to behave. I said that thing carelessly. But the devil almost took advantage of it. About a week or two after, I had the revelation, and somebody's in that revelation, they were telling me, Are you aware that this person's child just died? Are you aware that this person's husband just died? And within a few seconds, they've told me about five thousand. I said, No, it cannot happen, it will not happen. I was screaming in that dream, and the man said, But that's what you want. Why are you now shouting? I said, Why should I want that kind of thing? Am I a devil? He said, I now saw. As the person was there with him, I saw another me in my front, and I saw myself the way I talked, the postal I was when I said that thing, he repeated it. It's like showing me what I said, and I started crying. I said, I don't want it to happen. I don't want it to happen. What will I gain from their debt? How will it benefit me? How will it add value to me? He said, Next time, don't talk out of your emotion. He said, You said it, only you can cancel it. What I said that didn't take up to one minute to that statement. Now, a few seconds statement to I did drive fasting for three days. That's why I don't go talk here. Let's again to Jesus come. Still had near death experience for God to show me that even though you cancel it, but if you have not, this is it will have happened. So why should I allow the flesh? Listen, listen. No matter how much you hate somebody, be truthful to yourself. If you have said the person died, you know, go dance. Even when you are alone, there is nobody there. If you hear that the person die, you say, you don't go. You know, go fit, you go, then you are a witch. You are not happy. You will now see cry. Is somebody getting blessed? This is the reason you and I must labor to put off the old man and put on the new man. Because the old man will make you reject God's help. Now, two things will happen if you keep living under the influence and the control of your old man. That's your human nature. You keep operating by the flesh, two things will happen. Number one, you are unknowingly, you'll be unknowingly subjecting yourself to demonic powers, which Jesus had already delivered you from. Anyone living under the flesh has unconsciously, unknowingly subjected himself or herself to demonic powers. Ephesians chapter 2. Quickly, let's read verse 1 to 6. Quickly, let's do it very fast. Ephesians 2, verse 1 to 6. And you he made alive. Who are dead in trespasses and sins. He made you alive. In which you once walked. Now look at the in which you once walked. When you are in trespasses and sins, when you are living according to the flesh, you are walking according to the cause of this world, according to who? To the priest of the power of the air, the spirit who now walks in the stones of disobedience. Every child of God that walks in the flesh will subject themselves to demonic manipulations. The devil can tune you like this. Oh, my twin pastor blessed me during convention. That's why you see, church, not just pastors, all of us as believers has to learn patience and humility. Patience and what? Humility. Do you know why you fight people's how people treat you? Why you want to fight it at all costs? It's your pride. It's your pride. Is that that thing? Is it in Second Timothy chapter? Chapter what? Is it chapter six? Look for that thing for me. Um media. That's where it says we should with gentleness, humility, treat the others who are in opposition. Perhaps that will make them come to their senses. Because they are already in the devil's snare, they are already under the devil's control. And the devil is turned turning their life like this to do his will. Listen, as a child of God, you can be doing the will of the devil if you keep walking in the flesh. I want us to read that place. I want us to read that place. I want us to read that place. Because somebody needs to learn. No, no, give me from uh other NLC or NI NIV. Go back to verse 23. Don't have anything to do with what? Foolish and stupid arguments. Because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant, this is not just for pastor. Are you the Lord's servant? Must not quarrel. Instead, he must be kind to everyone. Teach, not resentful. Verse 25. Those who oppose him, he must gently instruct in the hope that God will grant them repentance, leading them to a knowledge of the truth, verse 26. And that they will come to their what? Sensitive and escape from the trap of the devil who has taken them captive to do his will. So you can be in the church and you are in the devil's crap. The flesh will make you to be playing the devil's game, and you think you are fighting for your rights. The flesh can make you to become the pawn on the chessboard of the devil. You just push it, yeah, act like this. Give it to them this way, and you give it to them. And they say, This is the consequence, we know, but it's your flesh in your marriage. We know, but this woman is your flesh that is talking. Wives, submit to your own husband. He said, Pastor, I know. But if you know this kind of man, we are married. This kokoro headman, submission called sub me. That is your flesh, sister. That is your what? Flesh. The only thing that will receive the things of the spirit is the flesh. And when you have confidence, or if you have confidence in the flesh, you will choose to do things the way it pleases you than the way the Holy Ghost or the Word of God wants you to do it. So such will estrange you from God's help, will exclude you from God's help because you are being controlled by demons and you are not aware. The only help you can receive that time, if you have people praying for you, is to come back to your senses. Number two, if you keep living under the influence and the control of your old man, even though you are saved, you will be living like an unbeliever. Why are you looking at me like that? You will live like an unbeliever because the whole human nature you live by will make you think, talk, and act like an unbeliever. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 17 to 20. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 17 to 20. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk in the futility of their mind. Look up, church. That means as a child of God, it is possible you walk like an unbeliever. He said, Don't walk like them. It's possible that you walk like them. So uh God knows that I will have been giving everybody trouble at home. But when I smoke, I calm myself up. Um when I feel stressed up, I take a loma beta. Or when everything just did somehow, just did somehow just take one cold bottle of Shanshan bubble to step down all the things. Do you know what you are saying? That means you have confidence in the flesh. That means things that are natural are the ones that controls your feelings. Be truthful to yourself. Why do you drink? It makes your eyes do we know when you drink the way where you know if you talk naturally, you talk and watch it. Some of the bad things you also do now when you don't drink. Am I talking to somebody? Why is your voice so I'm not saying you are drinking, I'm just saying. See, the kind of person you are, those things shouldn't be your means of comfort. That means you are saying to the comforter, you can't do it well. Then you have excused yourself from the help it can produce. The money will you not get? If they take and buy the thing, we know they profit your life. When somebody says they have added to the money of beer, I say, Well, how do you take concern me? No concern me now. Have it concerned you. I mean, goat head. With chilled, may God forgive the person that says start like that beer. Stop talking to my old man. And you look, look, look. If you greeted me, it is for me to say, I see you. No comedy church tomorrow, they do like saints. You say, Well done, sir. And you continue your journey. If you are with your friend, they say, Ah, you know the person. I know that man. I will become that man and not your pastor. Because you are not proud of it. So if you are not proud of it for me, don't be proud of it for you. We are all children of God. So if it's not good for me, it shouldn't be good for you, even if it's not a sin. Am I talking to somebody? Did you get that? Paul the apostle says it's not everything that he has a right to do that he would do. For the sake of winning others. That's how the life of a believer should be. But if you live according to the flesh, all that will matter to you is your pleasure. What you enjoy? Am I talking to somebody? So, though you are saved, you'll be living like an unbeliever. Let's finish with Ephesians chapter 4. 17. Having the understanding, understanding darkened. Being alienated, can you see that? Being alienated from the life of God. What does it mean to be alienated from the life of God? To be a stranger to the life. Of God. You become a stranger to his help. You are far. Because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. Verse 19. Is somebody getting blessed? Who being past feeling have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Give me this verse 19 so that you can understand what it means by past feeling. Um NLT. They have no sense of shame. They live for lustful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity. There is some one guy who is a business, he instructs people on, he mentors people on how to succeed in business. So when I was just thinking of having um establishing a business that's and run it in a way that it will not affect what I'm doing, somebody else would be in charge of it for me. And uh I was just saying, let me gather some experience, learn a few things. And I wanted to register with him. So I said, let me just listen to his video. So he said the first thing you have to learn if you want to succeed in business is to be shameless. You must not have shame. I said, May I get shame? That's Nigerian politicians for you. So that's why somebody can say something yesterday. No get shame. I won't they even put it to his face. He's still trying to defend it. No shame. Listen, there are certain things you won't do if you are the kind of person that has shame. Am I talking to somebody? It's shamelessness that will make somebody live a certain lifestyle. And you know, it's a shameful thing to live below the quality of life that Christ died to give you. Just imagine. It's not possible, though. The owner of Glow, my cardinal guy, he's one of the billionaires in this country. He now gets to Park, you now see his son. He has a son called Paddy. Now seeing his son doing Agbiro. Is it possible? No. How will it be now, you, the child of the most high God, that will start living like the world? Somebody say no to that. So I reject a low life. My father is the most high God. I will not live the most low life. Go back to where we are reading quickly. Let's round up this thing. They have no sense of shame. They live for lostful pleasure and eagerly practice every kind of impurity. Verse 20. We stop there. Verse 20. But that isn't what you learned about Christ. That isn't what you learned. So you see, all this two things will separate you from the help of God. Will make you reject God's help without knowing. I told you last Sunday, I said, oftentimes when God's help comes to you, it doesn't look like help. When the journey to Joseph's greatness would begin, the father sent him to go and look, check on his brother on the field. He got to the field where they normally keep their animals. They were not there. He walked over, he couldn't see them. And while he was almost giving up, he met, the Bible says, a certain man. The man not getting him. Met him. That man was God's help to him. Because that day must not pass. In according to God's timetable, that is the day he must be sold to Egypt. It looked like a problem, sir. So the man said, Oh, you are looking for who are you looking for? My brothers. Oh, I had them saying that we are going to a certain place. Okay, go and check them there. He went there, he found them there, and when they saw him come, he said, Here comes a dreamer. So let's kill him. And let's see what would become of his dream. Church, church, church. Everybody look at me. Hear this. If you live according to Christ, it doesn't matter who hates you, they can't stop you. Am I talking to somebody? You see, we fight, we quarrel. He wants to destroy my life. He wants to do this to me. He wants is because you don't know who you be. You don't know who is working with you. You don't know who is for you. You don't understand that whatsoever any man does to you can only contribute to your progress and not bring you down. For we know all things work together for good. All things, everything work together for good. For them that love God, for them who are called according to his purpose. When his travel started, he would have said, Oh God, why did you do like this? As I don't see them, if for good, make another see them. But seeing them was a blessing. Even though the blessing triggered up a series of travails. But at the end of the day, he found himself in the palace. Nobody can cause you a setback. Anything they do to you, if you choose to walk in the spirit and put on Christ and live according to Christ, whatsoever they do to you, no matter how bad, will lead to your lifting. Nobody can bring you down. Am I talking to somebody? It is not having that understanding that makes us act in the flesh. We keep running up and down, doing things that are contrary to what God wants for our life. So finally, signs that you are still living under the influence of your old human nature, we should suggest to you that you have a need to put off the old man and put on the new man so that you can enjoy God's help for your life and for your household. Number one, if a child of God finds himself or herself to be a compulsive liar and deceiver, that means he's living under the old nature. You have what I said, compulsive liar. Colossians chapter 3, verses 9 to 10. Colossians chapter 3, verses 9 to 10. Be fast. Do not lie to one another since you are put off. Can you see that? Do not lie to one another since you are put off the old man with his deeds. It is when you have put off the old man that you won't lie to one another. Do you know what lying to one another means? Meals representing the fact or saying what is outright lie in order to gain advantage over others. It means you have confidence in the flesh. Do you understand that? If I have to deceive you to have an advantage, then I'm not operating by the spirit. If I have to lie to you and make you believe a lie, in order to have certain advantage, to enjoy certain benefits. Verse 10. Verse 10. And have put on the new man who is renewed in what? In knowledge, according to the image of him who created him. You see, when you put off the old man and you put on the new man, you are renewed in knowledge. You do things differently. You know, I found out, church, I've said it before, I'm saying it again. The most difficult thing to do is to be truthful with those who don't tell the truth. If it is not benefiting them, the only thing they will believe to be true from your mouth is the one that profits them, that benefits them. That's why a lot of believers unconsciously they've been trained. Because you don't want to be having problems with people, so you become diplomatic. You begin to use wisdom. That wisdom means you also deceive to save your head. Don't allow people to make you a crooked person. Live to please Jesus. Live to please who? That's why I told somebody I said, I said, this uh becoming a 60-something year old man, the shark meal. Do you know why? Every day I see myself moving closer to Jesus. Every day. Every day that I break, I know I'm closer to him. I'm closer to him. So why should I live to please you and displease him? Are you my eternal life? If you can't give me eternal life, I won't live to please you. See, when you choose to please God, those whose desire to please God will also be happy with you. They will find it easier to understand you. But you will hear it over and over again. With what I was talking to precious yesterday, I was saying the Isaiah 58 verse 12. I was reading that to him. That the revelation God gave me our pastors knows the revelation. We have Isaiah 58 verse 12. If you don't know it as a pastor, then Isaiah 58 verse 12. You know how the revelation came. Okay. Mama woke up, had it, carried my Bible to check what was inside Isaiah 58, verse 12. And I said, Where is my Bible? He said, Are you you want to see Isaiah 58 verse 12? I said, How do you know? He said, Ah, you are saying it. And I was even waking you up. You know, Greece, wake up. Listen, our day of manifestation is close. As the Lord lives, your path will be visible. In the name of Jesus. We are in alignment with His plan. That's why you have to allow Jesus to build you up. Put off the old man. Put on a new man. So if you see yourself lying compulsively and intentionally deceiving, that means you need to put off the old man. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources. For he is a liar and the father of it. Don't allow your life to be like that. That have resources of lies. You just draw from it. And secondly, secondly, second sign that you are walking according to your old man. If you are full of envy and causing division and strife among brethren, you are full of envy and you cause division. If you are the reason why two people are not talking, just know you are operating in the flesh. If you are the reason why two people are quarreling and they don't even know you are behind it, if you are the reason why a unit is not functioning well, because you cause division. If you are the reason why somebody's marriage is not functioning well, that means you are working with the flesh. When you walk in the spirit, there will be no division through you. You'll be an agent of unity. Am I talking to somebody? Even when you see two people quarreling, the spirit of peace in you will help them reconcile, not to put petrol into fire. 1 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 1 to 4. 1 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 1 to 4. So if there is envy, if there is division, if there is constant quarreling, that means there are a lot of carnal people around there. One of the proofs of maturity is peace. Renew your mind is putting off the old man, changing how you think. Until you change how you think, you can't change your conduct. Can you lift up your voice and ask the Lord for that grace? There will be massive testimonies in your lives and family traceable to the doing of the Lord from today. If you are the one and prophesying to receive it by his grace, go back to that script. Don't remove it, media. Surely there is no enchantment. You see, the Hebrew word translated to enchantment means when a future is designed for somebody, and then they manipulate you. That's witchcraft. To take steps to do things that will lead you to that negative future. That's why enchantment is also like a curse. Am I talking to somebody? That's why you see, be concerned when you see yourself taking steps that are not in alignment with God's will. Doing things out of hatred, out of bitterness, out of envy. Taking steps dictated to you by your pride. It might be witchcraft manipulation. You see, there is no enchantment against Jacob. Jacob talks about the life of Jacob as a supplanter. And then neither is there any divination against Israel. Divination is more advanced than enchantment because it involves a high-level deception. Because Israel is no longer Jacob. He's now a prince with God. He rules like God. So, but the enemy doesn't want to give up, he wants to use divination. Check the book of Acts of Apostles, chapter 16. They tried to use divination against Paul the apostle. Paul was Israel, not Jacob. But the enemy came and said, This is a servant of the Lord that shows us the way of salvation. It looks right, it looks good. It looked as if she was promoting what Paul was doing. But what he was looking, she was looking for was the validation of Paul so that Paul can begin to reference her. Then you will begin to we used to have one woman who was like that. Lord Lord, no vessel. When I want to start preaching, she would say, Hey, then she knows her left from the right. She would now begin to say, God won't speak. One of our members then, Mr. Obomano, they were trusting God for the fruit on the man gets small belly like this. Are you listening? From today, not everybody should know about your struggles. Not everybody. Stop telling your challenge to everyone. And when if you have a great plan, a great vision, don't tell it to everyone. Why? Listen. Go and listen to the message of Thursday. It is not all witches that fly. Some witches are all intentional witches. They practice witchcraft without knowing. You know why? You are going through a challenge. Any natural person is a potential witch. And it's something that is serious. And you share it with someone who doesn't have the capacity to believe God with you, stand in faith with you. You have created a problem for yourself. Do you know why? That person, based on what you told her or him, if they are not grounded in the truth to see how you will come out of it, they begin to imagine evil against you. See, don't be angry with them because they do it to themselves. If it is them, they will still imagine evil against themselves. Because they don't have the revelation of the truth. Immediately, they based on what you told them, they begin to play things in their mind. And so this is a good choir. And so in marriage, go say, Endo they imagine things in their heart. Negative. Now imagine yourself, you told this, you told this, you told this, and all of them has no faith to believe with you. They are all imagining evil. Thoughts are things. Am I talking to somebody? Whatsoever you imagine, or they imagine against you that the strength of your own faith cannot resist will come to pass. Oh I want to do this. God has blessed. I want to buy a car, and you are saying it to an envious person. Oh God, look at me here. This person who can't have a car and now begin to look down on me. Begin to imagine things that the business you are doing that whenever you buy it will not happen. And you are surprised that you have what they call near success syndrome. Always seeing it but never getting it. But that breaks this morning. If you are going to talk to anyone, talk with those who can stand in faith, those with proven record that they walk with God. You will know by their talking. They talk to encourage you. They talk based on the word. They are fervent in the spirit. They are not many. Those who can genuinely believe God with you. Not those who say, We are praying for you. But they never utter a sentence of prayer. Rather, in their mind, they are busy imagining evil. Not because they wanted to, but their mind, their heart is wired to because they walk in the flesh. That's why it looks as if your struggles are much. And before you know it, what they are imagining against you, you begin to get afraid that that thing will happen. The moment you see fear coming to you concerning the things you used to have confidence over, just know there are imaginations against you, and you must rise up from your sleep and get rooted more in the word and begin to proclaim God's word over your life so that the effect of their negative imagination over your life can be broken. That's why we prophesy over you every day, so that what they imagine against you will not stand. And that's why you must learn to receive God's word from our mouth. So as you live here, it doesn't matter. It might even be your spouse, it might even be your parents, it might even be your friend, as long as they are too negative. Am I talking to somebody? You say you talk, say you are in trouble. That's not the person to talk to. Henceforth, your dreams will not be aborted. I stand on this exalted altar of the Lord, I lift up my hands before the God of heavens and the earth. I proclaim over you every negative imagination, evil imaginations in the heart of men concerning your health, concerning your business, concerning your finance, concerning your marriage, concerning your education.
