The enemy plan regret for you, but God has pleasant surprises for you. And I stand to agree with you. It is the will of God that will stand in your life. In the name of Jesus. So it is. Welcome to the last Sunday of the month of March. Please don't miss the fasting. Prayer and praise for the month of April is coming up on the first. It's very important that you and your family partake out of it. Partake of that service. And you remember it's a communion service. We'll be dealing with vital issues. I was telling the workers this morning that any problem you refuse to solve will remain. That's why you see the children of God suffer like the world. Crying doesn't change anything, complaining doesn't change anything, murmuring doesn't change anything. It is prayer that changes things. Praise the Lord. Um, one of my sons in the church hour, music director, I was reading, I was going through their WhatsApp group. In women of value, I am there as a silent observer. And a watch you know, all the things we now deposed, between the right, as a monitoring spirit, and the same thing on the choir. So he wrote a statement while encouraging them to pray, telling them of the need to pray. He said, The Bible says, watch and pray. Now say if you don't watch and pray, you will be the watched and the prayer. If they are not watching and praying, then we watch, God forbid not you. He said, they will watch you. Whether you know it or not, whether you know it or not, somebody is not happy with you. But I'm a good person. In your opinion. Your goodness is a problem to somebody. Am I talking to somebody? The Bible says the whole world lies in wickedness. People practice wickedness from their childhood. I think about two years ago or last year, a 14-year-old shot some people in high school and killed fellow students and teachers. And when they arrested him, what was the motive? You know, American police want to know the motive behind the action. They just wanted to kill and know how it feels. People kill. And they feel good. So he said, wanted to do it likewise and see how it feels. That's wickedness. So if you don't know how to live in the midst of the wicked world, life is at risk. Huh? That's why. The devil doesn't care if you go to vigilance doesn't care if you do work, they do coconut work for you. But he is disturbed every time you want to sit to grow in the knowledge of Christ. Your understanding of God's word threatens him. He said, Because the only time he knows you'll be truly free is when you are rooted in God's word. You will know the truth. And the truth will do what? Make you where you see set free in your Bible. Okay. Um John 8 32. Let's read it again. You see, that thing has been programmed into our mind. Set free, set free. It's make free and set free are not the same. I've uh and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. I've tried to have illustrated for us. Let me illustrate it again. Yeah, please give me your follow me, you answer. I want to show you the difference between make free and sex free. To be set free, he needs an external influence. Set free. So please have free. You can go back to your seat. Now he's died again. If he has to be set free, he will still need somebody to come to pass. But to make him free, you show him how he will be free. Use your teeth. Is he free or not? So next time, in case he found himself that he looks bound in any way, what he will do is to search for how to be free. So he will not be at the mercy of any human being. He won't be at the mercy of human beings. So what the truth does is that it makes you free. The truth empowers you to be free. And the good thing, one of the good things about that is that when you are truly grounded in the truth, in that area of your life, you can never be bound. You understand that? When you become free when it comes to the issue of health, you can't be bound by sickness anymore. Because you now have a revelation. When you become free in the issue of longevity of life, it doesn't matter what anybody is saying about death, it will move you because you know something that will never allow you to be afraid of death. You go from just believing to knowing. Do you understand that? You are a mortal millionaire. What do you say to that? Amen. He said amen. I said you are a mortal. So as far as it's concerned, it's prayer. So because I'm the one that prayed, he said amen. That means I believe. But imagine he has 200 million, 300 million in his account. And I say you are a mortality. He said yes. He won't say amen. Do you understand? He will say yes. God bless you. He will say yes. Because I'm not, he won't regard it as prayer. He will see it as me acknowledging his status. So there are times when people tell you you are a great person, say, I know. When you truly know. Amen. Because you are not sure. He is he's still you are just trying to believe it. See what I'm saying now is where we'll end the message. What I'm doing this morning is just a recap. Which will now summarize the ending. And I want you to go home and think about it so that you can be truly free. Nigeria and the world is not going to get better. Or you can get better. Okay, we started four Sundays ago on the subject receiving God's help for your household. Receiving God's help for your household. And I showed us how. In my palm. That's beyond tattoo. They try to clean off tattoo. When it's an engravement, you can't clean it. You know, that's one of the things that feels my head every day. I'm engraved in God's hand. That means I say, I said, God knows see his hand one day, now you're not going to see me. You see, if as a child of God, as a parent, if you are not generational-minded, you will take decisions anyhow. Because you will only live, you'll be living to consider what is good for you, what you think is not good for you, without any consideration for the impact and the effects of your decision upon your children. If you are conscious of the fact that your children are your ministry, in fact, for your information, every parent will also give accounts to God over their children. You know, go kill me, you know, go kill me. Now you savi. Not being savi, oh, are you savvy? So, if you are generational minded, when you are faced with trials, when you are faced with troubles, when you are thinking of what to do, you don't just think about yourself, think about the effects of your decision on your children. That's why some years, I think two or three years ago, a man committed suicide. I read it in the newspaper. Why? He was broke, broken, and the wife will not help matters. The wife will talk down on him every day, compare him with other men. So he got tired and drank sniper. Inasmuch as I felt for him, I also believe he was a coward. Because if you consider sincerely me, you are talking to me like this, talking down on me like this, I can never entrust my children into your hands. That means you don't get sense. Now, the man killed himself. Because he didn't consider the children, if he knew what the children will pass through as a result of that singular action, he wouldn't have done it. Do you know that even for the for the trauma of people telling the children, say your papa finding yourself, and the man is a failure and kill himself that can be traumatic to the children, it can redefine how they see life. And do you know what? Every wrong pattern you see in a family begins with a thought in somebody's mind that became an action and it became a habit. So when you are generational minded, you will not be hasty in making decisions. You will learn long suffering. Am I talking to somebody? And that is when you position yourself to experience God's help. From there, there we move to the second point. And put on the new man and his lifestyle. We read Ephesians chapter 4, verse 22 to 24. I told you that your old man is your human nature, the fallen human nature. While the new man is in nature of Christ, you receive that new birth. He said that you put off concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lust. Verse 23. And be what? Renewed in the spirit of your mind. Verse 24. And that you put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. So removing the old man and putting on the new man is a process. And what is that process? The renewing of your mind. I told us that. Our old man, which is our old sinful nature, has learned a lot of things from sin. That's why you see little children. If you are not careful, they will sell you. Have you not observed that there are times you see children when they see that you as a father and a mother, or mother and father, you are not always in good time. The children will master the art of hitting your head together so that they will do whatever they want. One say the child wants to the father. Daddy, I want to follow my friend to a birthday party. They know the father will not grieve. They might not even go to the father at all. They will just walk to the mother. Mommy, I want to follow my friend to a birthday party. At times they will tell the father, the father will say, Don't go. They will go and tell the mommy. Mommy will say, Go. Because she didn't ask the father. He knows the child knows, they don't communicate. Come back in the night. I'm trying to help you to see something. And when you return, the father is boiling. I told mommy now. And mommy will say, Intermittent, allow these children to you are doing them an evil. When the children cease that, they will continue on that path. You see, because children naturally grow with that nature of sin. That's why, until they get born again and they are learning the word of God, expect anything from them. God knows that if you are going to overcome the activities of the sinful flesh, you need the life of Christ. That's why He didn't just say get born again. He gave you His spirit. Do you think His Spirit is for decoration? No. To help you to live like Him. That's why he said Jesus told his disciples, it's needful for me to go. He said, When I leave, I will send you a helper. KJB say, a comforter. Somebody who will help you to navigate through the issues of life. Because he knows that you cannot live effectively and live triumphantly if you live by your human nature. If I conduct census now, say every one of us, to the best of your knowledge, when did you told your first lie? If you can remember well, it must be before six age of six. Who pour water here? It's not me and it's the only child in the house. Because the nature is there. So if you are going to raise your family and you are going to fulfill God's perfect will for your life, you need to put up that nature. How does that nature express itself? You see, at the cross, that nature died, was crucified. But the nature left behind its ideas. In human soul. No, no, you that is, you are an adult and you are born again. Watch it. Some certain ideas that will come into your mind at times. You just know that this one is the devil. Am I talking to somebody? Don't pretend, though. Somebody offends you and they hurt you. Look at the kind of things that will be flying in your brain. On how to pay them back, what to do that will hurt them. I've told you this story severally. Many, many years ago, when mama was still here, was still an otter. Anytime she did something that hurt me, that pain me, I will first of all go and sit down and process what he did. I will now begin to look at how I would do my own that will pain her the way it pained me. I will now sit down and begin to cook one evil in my mind. The kind of word I will tell her that could make her cry, even though I knew the thing won't be true. You are laughing, you never drew him. Some of the things you accuse other people in your heart, you know is not true. But you just want to make him feel what he feels. The day, one day she told me, I said, I'll deal with you. She looked at me and said, You can't do more than a dead rat. Ah! Compared a homie, even if I don't get mozo, I pass a dead rat. I wanted to prove to her that I can do I could do more than a dead rat. You see, that is the human nature. Are you getting it? Anything in you that wants to pay evil with evil is not God. Anything in you that say, as in do you do and back, make a feeling it is not God. See, if you are going to receive God's help, you have to stop trying to help yourself. You trust in your own help too much. See, the flesh doesn't wait for help. The flesh will always try to help itself. The flesh is not submissive. The flesh doesn't know submission. If you see anybody battling with submission, that person is fully in the flesh. That's why if you are going to enjoy gossip, you have to put off that old man. That process is meant to help you to delete from your mind and your heart your old ways of thinking which was imparted to you by your old man. That's your old sinful human nature. There is need to delete them so that a new way of thinking can be formed in your heart. I I was I was telling the workers today, there is somebody I know, somebody I love so much. Every time I talk to him, I say, Oh Lord, even though I'm a pastor, this man is not a pastor. I need to get born again. Oh Lord, help me. Do you know why? That man is too difficult to offend. Not in the offender. He before you offend him, he has created the reason to justify you. Ish, even for me, ish, he has created reason for you. And somebody did something very, very, very bad to him. And when I had it, I was so upset. I said, kind of wickedness is this? So I was expressing that we'll take up the matter and fight it. You know what he told me? Said, Pastor, no me, my life, ain't take. Said, it is poverty that is worrying him. So he has accepted that I'm richer than him. Let him have it. I said, you are going to leave that in one. He said, God gave me that one to me. He will give me another one. So what fighting over things?

I was ready to help him. It's the matter. I can't weak. He said, nobody will take away his peace. No matter who the person is. He said, he will never put his hand himself into the hand of anybody. If you see him, you won't believe that's his age. You think I'm young? I'm looking young? He looks younger than me. Much, much. And he's older than me. Somebody asked him, which cream do you use? He said, In the cream. Saying the cream body from inside. From inside in the coming. No, that thing. He didn't get there overnight. It's a continuous process of transformation. Do you know what hurt us? It's not what they do to us, it's what we do to ourselves by what they did to us. So is every time I talk with him, I don't preach you. I don't act as pastor. I don't act as pastor. Because I said, This one, your long suffering passed my own. Ability to persevere, I need to learn it. That things you think you are good at when you meet somebody that has encountered Jesus in an unusual way. Even though you are a dish of you submit yourself. I just love his life. He told me, he said his wife is never wrong. I said, My friend, stop that. My wife is never wrong. I said, How is she that so mature, knowledgeable? A laugh. Say, Pastor, it is when I call her action wrong that it will be wrong. Said, she's never wrong, she only needs improvement. So when I talk to her, I talk to her like somebody who needs improvement. No, no, the natural mind can't think like that. Are you getting something? The natural man can't think like that. And you know what annoys me? Second God. And I'm oh Lord, help me so that this woman will never be wrong before me. You did it wrong many times, though. Oh, he said, it is what you say is wrong that is wrong. It's how you see it. So because even you, you get it wrong at times. A natural man can never reason like that. A natural man is defensive, even when they are wrong. So, do you know where the work of a pastor is? It's not getting people born again, no. It's getting them to put off the old man for them to put on the new man. That is where the real work is. One message can get somebody born again. Is that true? One message, and we make altar call. The person will come out now. You say the sinner's prayer. He's born again, but to help the person transform to remove the influence of the old man. Uh-uh. One message. One year message, no deduan. You had this my son. One day he said, You know, God has done a lot in his life. I know if you know him, when he did the smoke, um anything. But he said, one day, somebody provoke him. Say he forgot that. So before he remember, the hand done. Manual anointing, done laugh. Because the old man, he's still fighting. That's not one year work. Depending on, listen to this church. I study, I listen to message almost every day. Meditate on God's word. But there are times some things will happen. By myself, I say, Lord, permit me to resurrect the old man. Let me just borrow them, use them small. Then we say too later. That is still the old man in action. Because as at that time, I thought the only thing that would satisfy me is to deal with the matter in my own way. That is self. That is self. So that's why our transformation is a continuous process until we leave this body. Look at how Apostle Paul described it in uh Galatians 4 19. Galatians 4 19. The work of helping believers to transform my little children for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you. You don't know the import of that message. Let's read it. Go back to 19. Give me from uh uh GNT. Let's read from different translations so that you see what the what he's trying to say. Because see, when you labor to get people to transform for their transformation, it begins with you. It begins with who? With you, my dear children. Once again, just like a mother in childbirth, I feel the same kind of pain for you until Christ's nature is formed in you. So pastoral work is not it's not uh as I teach, as I preach, it's more than that, and that's why you as a child of God, you must understand that this is the will of God for you to put off your old man and put on the new man that was created to be like God. A question you need to ask yourself. I'm not talking about what you are trying to make us believe about you, because that's a story for another day. There are things we project how we want people to see us, but there is real you. Who are you in the private when nobody is there? Who are you when you are in a place when where nobody knows you? You know, here because I'm your pastor. Holy, holy, holy, bless you, bless you, bless you. Well, who am I when I'm in Canada? When no physical eyes of any member of House of Disney will see me. Who am I? What do I do there? That's a question you all need to ask yourself. They do chop clean mouth. No understand what I've just said. Some believers have mastered the art of chopping and cleaning mouth. As long as you are not caught, you are still a saint. That's self-deception. That's what? Self-deception. See, the more you allow Christ to be formed in your heart, the more you think, talk, and act like Christ. That's why the word form. Because it's a process. As we are seated here, we are on different levels of formation. I reason the way I reason because of my level of formation. And you reason the way you reason because of your level of formation. Some of you, by your level of formation, are faithful in your titing, you're faithful in giving to the word of God, but you don't take shit from anyone. Why are people laughing? You don't take shit, not even from your spouse, you give it to me hot. I give it to you double heart. You are still born again. It's just that your level of formation has not taken you beyond paying evil with evil. Are you getting what I'm saying? That's why. Understand this, church. Everything that happens, every problem, every trial, every temptation is to show you where you are. When something happens to me, I'm faced with a trial, I'm faced with a challenge, I'm faced with a persecution or a false accusation, how did I respond? My response is telling me where I am and where I need to get better. If you are not allowing your mind to be renewed, you estrange yourself, you separate yourself from the help of God. Because if your mind is not renewed, you keep doing things the way you think it should be done, the way it pleases you, the way that your flesh wants you to do it. And when you do it that way, God's help will be far. And you know, doing it that way means you also create more trouble for yourself. Because to be carnally minded is death. Romans 8:13. It's if you live according to the flesh, you will die. It's not just talking about physical death. If you live according to the flesh, for if you live according to the flesh, what happened? But if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. So, when if you live according to the flesh, you have already set in motion the law of sin and death. And it's a matter of time, the effect will show. You know, it's not the testimony you have, it's not the satisfaction you have when you act in the flesh that matters. What are they? Long-term effects, long-term consequences of that action. There are people here. What you are going through today is an effect of your sowing into the flesh years back. No, the Bible says every man is tempted by his own lust. He said, Sin has a way of maturing. When it matures, it leads to death. See, let me tell you something. Everyone who does focus you on the enemy, enemy, enemy, enemy, enemy. The real enemy is inside you. The most dangerous enemy to your life is not outside you. Listen, I've faced battles, spiritual battles. I'm not one of the pastors that only speak. No, I've faced people with charm. I've told you before, somebody threw the charm on the ground. He said, If the Jesus you are talking about across it. And I didn't even think of the consequence. That charm, they use it during masquerade festival. If my village masquerade, they invite other masquerades from other things to come and do competition with them. But they know that the masquerade coming could defeat their own. That bush path they will pass through when they are coming from the shrine to the city center. They will put that thing there. As the masquerade cross, it goes some assault. We begin to converse. If they did not give him the antidote, the man will die. Spirit go die. That was the same. I've seen it. But something has happened to my mind. Having spoiled principalities and powers, he made an open show of them, triumphing over them in it. This thing has been spoiled. Principalities have been spoiled. The Bible says, Jesus, my Lord, the one who dwells in me, made an open show of them. In other words, he paraded them openly that I've defeated this one. Must I fear the one that Jesus has defeated? No. No. No. No. It's a mindset built in me by the new man. Every time you are afraid, every time you are worried. No, you are not operating by your new man again. You have switched into the old man's old man mode. Every time you feel uncertain about your future, you feel uncertain. As things are going on, hey, what is my faith? What will happen? What will happen? That is not, we are not hopeless. The new man creates a sense of hope and confidence, expectation of a better tomorrow, no matter what is happening today. My body may not feel good, but I know I won't die by sickness. No. Pain in the body will not tell me when to expect death. Am I talking to somebody here? It's a mind. He said, Pastor, stop talking like that. You are not God. It's your old man thinking like that. It's your old man. The more you are renewed in your mind, the more you see possibilities. For with God, all things are possible. So when you begin to think, talk, and act like Christ, you are positioned to receive His help. Not just for yourself, for your household. Do you know for your sake, your family can be free from struggles? Do you know there is a dimension of God's blessing that will begin to manifest in your life that your lineage will never know poverty again? Do you know there is a measure of spiritual and economic influence that you begin to enjoy by the virtue of the grace you are walking in? And your generations to come. We don't know anything called struggle. Please, all parents here, I want to encourage you. This is what I tell my children every day. I'm not going to live any battle that I fought for them. Every battle I inherited will end with me. Now, understand this church. If you are going to submit to this process of transformation, that's something you need to know. Because it's not enough for you to know that I need to remove the old man, change my own way of thinking, and put on the new man. Meditate on God's word, focus on Jesus. You might have a knowledge of that and still not submit yourself to the process. How do you submit yourself to the process? There is an understanding you need to have that will motivate you, that will inspire you to submit completely to that process. You see, when this understanding is done on you, you will prioritize your spiritual growth. What is that understanding that you need to have? It is in your knowing that life is spiritual. Life is what? And you cannot live life successfully through natural ideas alone. Church. That life is spiritual. That is why, in spite of the spread of Christianity, the Debias, is it Debia's then call them? The native doctors are still having customers. People still go to shrine. I've told you before, before I became born again many, many, many years ago, there was a group I belonged to. One of the major sponsors of that group was the wife of the former president. Every month she would buy them cow for sacrifice. She was the pillar behind the husband. All of the witch in that group, the head of the witch, this former president's wife built a filling station for her. In those days, bought white Mercedes, these flat boots. Mercedes 230. Flat boots. Bought it for the woman. You see, I'm not exaggerating. I've not seen a person fatter than that woman. I'm telling you, I've been to many weak places in this world. That woman, I've not seen any woman or man with my eye. With big person, except the one I see on uh online, and those ones are in overseas. When they fool everywhere on the they won't be able to move their body. This one very big. To move from here to that place will take her like 30 minutes. They have to, when they bought her that car, Panabita has to walk on the back door to be able to open it very wide. Because when she managed to end, she they feel everywhere. She feels all things in order. In spite of her physical, she they fly for night. My friend that took me to join the group, when he was facing problems, somebody took her to that same woman. When the woman looked at her, I said, Your mother is behind your case. He said, But I like you. I will settle the matter. He said, Tomorrow, go to your mother in the village. Buy this, buy this, give it to her. Tell her it's from me. Say, my mother knows you. Don't sit down there and they do things anyhow. Say, my mother knows you. He said, Shut up. You'll be small picking. He said, and truly, said she didn't have the money to buy those things. It was the same woman, the witch, that gave her the money. And when she went, as she appeared to the mother, the mother busted into tears. He said, If not that hand don't touch hand, you for here went for my hand. But I've come in the name of Jesus. I stand on this exalted altar. Let me tell your neighbor, life is spiritual. See, this thing I'm saying, not to make you to be afraid, is to make you to wake up from your sleep. We say, Let's pray, let's pray. And they pray for us. Sorry, oh life is spiritual. I told you this one, my uncle. The the son of the of one of the wives of my father, my mother's father, my grandfather, had a number of wives. So one of them, the son. This one I'm talking about, his son used to live with me. Those are who are old in the church know his son. Amos. How many of us know Amos? Son used to live with me. When he was alive, years ago, he was working with CFO and he had poor temper. He had an issue with the admin manager. And that one talked to him anyhow. So yeah, he gave the man manual anointing. You know, if driver beats admin manager, he didn't say oh, don't finish. It happened on a Friday. And they said, by Monday, you should be ready for his quarry. And then, you know, after that, a fire. So he came back to the village. On Saturday, he said, This is what happened, you know. One of my cousins then they look was still alive. He said, What didn't we go do? He said, Now that's one way they made the queue worry. He said, By Monday, we go make the admin manager also slap the general manager. And the general manager is a French man. Say, it's possible. See, they did the work inside bush. They said they look for where the direction of the wind. They mixed the charm with um, what do they call it? Gunpowder. They recited the incantation. I was there. I wasn't born again many, many years ago. I'm talking about things of uh close to 40 years now. As they finished, they called the name of the admin manager. They said, as they said this thing that this spirit should go and motivate him, move him to beat the general manager. They mentioned the general manager's name. As they set the thing on fire, you know, gone. As that thing happened, the wind changed direction. They said, if the thing hits you, you are dead. Everybody. We ran. But you know the funniest thing? Admit marriage are true, no get Jesus. Monday morning, early Monday morning, he got to the office, he met the GM. You know, did they arrange it? They met on the staircase. And only God knew what transpired. He descended on the man, beat him, beat him, threw him down from the staircase. And he was still saying, I will kill you. I will kill you. It is saying they get angry, but they remote control him. Any demonic influence that I'm meant to cost with as you agree with your strongest men, see, it's not everybody that is misbehaving that is misbehaving. Some are being remote controlled. They have a name for that thing in Europe, but they call it Advilu. That is some the thing that operates by the wind. When the that evil wind hits the man, he misbehaved. Life is spiritual. There are actions, decisions you take. You will think, now you the thinker. No, Satan has taken over. If your heart has not been renewed to align with the will of God and say, No, this is not me, I can't do this. When the thing happened, people came, the driver of the Frenchman was crying, shouting. So people came there, separated them because as he threw him there, he was still beating him on the ground. So they separated them and the as the man got to his office, he said, security, we should carry the admin man out of the premises. He said the um query that was meant for my for my uncle should be withdrawn. He said now they have seen that the the admin is a madman. Let me tell your neighbor life is spiritual. I laugh when I hear some people who say, you are not working hard, that's why you are not making it. Sorry. A lot of people who have found themselves under one form of demonic oppression or the other, they walk and they look like somebody who is not working. They make money, but the money is not making them. Because when you make money and the effect of it is not seen in your life, you are the one making money. Money is not making you. Life is spiritual. And if you are going to live life triumphantly, you must live it spiritually. It's not by your Emotion. At rest, I take a decision. No, no, no, no. It's more than that. This is what I feel like doing. Your feelings can be manipulated. Because life is spiritual. In Genesis chapter 1, let me quickly establish that before I close. Genesis chapter 1, verse 26 and 27. Look at who God created. Then God said, Let us make man in our image according to our likeness. According to who? Our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the earth, over and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Verse 27. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God, he created him, male and female, he created them. So who God created at the beginning was a spirit. So you are a spirit being that has a soul and lives inside the body. You cannot afford to reduce your life to physical things alone. How do I know that your spirit God created? In Genesis chapter 2, verses 4 and 5. Let's quickly read it. To help our understanding, Genesis chapter 2, verses 4 and 5. This is the history of the heavens and the earth. When they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, verse 5. Verse 5. Before any plant of the field was in the earth, and before any herb of the field had grown, for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth. And what? And there was no. Where was the man created in Genesis chapter 1? He was still a spirit man. Spirit can't handle anything physically. That's why even God can't do anything on earth without you. Spirit needs a body to express himself in the physical. So you are a spirit being. Satan can't do anything without man. God can't do anything without man on earth. So just as God is always looking for who to use, Satan is also looking for who to use because they both depend on man to express their will on earth. So what makes the difference is what are you living by? If you are living by your old man, you will become prone to the devil's use. But when you switch over, you allow your heart and your mind to be renewed, and you begin to think, talk, and act like Christ, you submit yourself to God, and God begins to walk through you. Unfortunately, there are many believers who don't even know that there are tools in Satan's hand. Because they still live by their old man. They still live by what? Their old man. So in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 23 and 24, the Bible further establish it that human beings were a tripartite being. He said, now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, look at the order. Whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible also referred to our spirit man as the inner man. He who calls you is faithful, also will do it. So having established that, that you are a spirit being, you must, if you want to set your family on the right path, you must live according to the spirit. Your thoughts, your speech should be spirit-inspired. You must be spirit-led. Am I talking to somebody? You know, for example, in my home. You don't tell me that day there is no more rice in the house. You can't tell me that. Because I know the power of words, the power of life and death is where? In the tongue. Say that we have abundance of rice. When you say it, I understand. But do you know when do you know how Satan deals with us? He suggests things in your heart and make you to be saying it until it comes to pass in your life. Things are not just working. The way they are doing, doing in that my office, they they just oppress people. If you are not from certain community, they will not promote you. Everybody is just like that. Listen, you are the one saying it. Life is spiritual. Jesus says, The word I speak, they are spirit, they are life. So the word you speak can also be spirit and life if it aligns with what the word of God says, and the word you speak can also be spirit and death. If it agrees with what the devil wants for you. Your word shapens your life. That's why the devil labors to control your thoughts. He wants to be in charge. That's why we are told that the battlefield is your mind, not your village. See, if the demons you have allowed to live rent-free in your heart can't stop you, the one from your village can't stop you. You hear that? The strength of any external force over your life is in what you have allowed to form your belief in your heart. Listen, I've said it over. I can't die by sickness. Oh, Pastor, does it mean so now you don't get sick? I still get sick. Because the devil will want to prove me wrong. But I know God's word cannot fail. The only thing that endures forever is his word. So I say it again because I believe it. And the sickness fizzled off. I shared it with you. On the day of my 60th birthday, August 23, 2024. I woke up early in the morning. My brother from Lagos, Reverend Vitalis, was with me. He came for the birthday. So he said he will not stay in the hotel. I was alone then. So he said, We'll stay with me in the house. So when this he stayed in my bedroom. We woke up, we prayed, and when we finished it, I felt pressed. I wasn't feeling anything. I just walked into the toilet, use the toilet, and he looked as if I passed out watery stool. I said, uh, I'm not getting diarrhea waiting. And when I went, I washed, I got up and I turned. I saw blood. It was blood alone, no stool. The whole of the toilet bowl was filled with blood. And I just stood there, I was looking. Before God, my mind was not thinking any negative. It's like I was blank for a while. I was just looking at it. Then in the midst of that silence, I heard the Holy Ghost said, Do you believe this is real? I said, No, it's not real. I said it loud, this is not real. He said, Then flush it and go. I flushed it, it never came out of my mouth. You know that Pastor Zoma, Pastor Vitalis are the closest people today. I could have entered my room because he's there. Say, so you see what it happened, no? Let's agree and pray. There's nothing to pray about because it's not real. And that was the last time. The following day I went to the toilet, everything normal, no trace. After that, after about three weeks, I went to image. I ran all the tests that could check everything perfect. My colon, perfect, everything perfect. But do you know if I've accepted it, you will have become an issue. You see, the devil is a good marketer. He will first of all sell it to you first and expect you to agree with. See, natural people, I respect medicine, I respect science. But see, life is spiritual. Life is what? Spiritual. All he needs is, I am sick. Finish. You don't buy market. When your heart and your mind is transformed, you begin to think like Christ. Will you can you imagine Christ going down with sickness? And do you know what? When you stand, choose to stand on God's word, he put pressure on you. He brings all manner of things to make you think God's word is not true. But listen, as I told us on Thursday, when you have meditated on God's word so much and you accept that this is the truth, this is the will of God for me for this matter, and you take it to God in prayer. Listen, church. Doesn't matter what you feel or see, you stand on the word, and you will see the devil and his works easy out. Life is spiritual. Some people are not married today. Not because they are not beautiful, not because they don't have good character. But something is working against them in the spirit. Anybody that meets them for the first time, what they will see is their negative aspect. Listen in church. Generally, people say you are a good person. But when the people you need to help you meet you, they don't see any of those good things. The first thing they see is what is not right about you, it is not normal. That's why this morning we are going to pray. This is a very special service. We are concluding because there must be a shift in your family. The struggles in your family must be over. Any negative pattern in your family must come to an end. Am I talking to somebody here? Let me conclude with this. When you understand that life is spiritual, you become spiritually minded over the affairs of your home. Do you know one thing I've learned about one of the things I've learned about life? There are times some people they seem to be misbehaving. What the devil is doing is that he's altering their image, tampering with their mind because he knows the glory they carry. Am I talking to somebody? And the only way he can put things on hold is to make them believe a lie about themselves. And to make everyone around them believe a lie about them. I've told you my story. Even as a pastor when I was still in order. I was still trying to do business, even though still, it got to a time, anything, anything I join them to do will not work. And everyone around me said, in fact, a friend of mine said it in my presence. He said, I don't say this thing behind you, but let me tell you, no go kill me. He said, if anybody wants their business to fail, let them just invite you into it. Because you and you know, he was right. I will pray for people. Me that prayed for them. They will just tell people, say, ah, that pastor, that pastor that always wear my only trust at them was um uh this khaki, this uh chinos, um khaki chinos with two shirts and they alternate them. That pastor, what they always wear at their dad. When he prayed for you, things go walk. And I will pray. It will work. Some of our colleagues, pastors in the same ministry that time, will come and say, This person gave me this. He's the one who bought me this suit. And I'm pray for him. I don't get suits, but it never comes into their mind because life is spiritual. See, don't be angry with people that you think should help you, they are not helping you. Stop being angry, go and deal with things in the spirit. You see, when you deal with issues in the spirit and there is a shift in your favor, even those who hate you will help you. When the ways of a man please God, even his enemy will be at peace. Because any enemy you truly need must be at peace with you. Am I talking to somebody? That's why you cannot afford to follow the path of carnality. We read the scripture. Media, give me that scripture. First John chapter two. Proof that you are put off the old man and you are putting on a new man is that you are walking in love. That's the only thing that would distinguish, see. You can have resort, even when you are not doing things right. Because some believers, because if what you call resort is how much money you have, uh, how much physical properties you own. No, no, no, that's not resort. Resort is in fulfilling God's plan for your life. Give me that first John chapter 2. I think I close. Is it from verse 9? He who says he is in the light. You know, I say I'm just summarizing what we've been hearing since the beginning of the month. He who says he's in the light and hates his brother is going to be in darkness. He's in where? He's in darkness until now. May you not find yourself in darkness. He who loves his brother abides in the light. And there is no cause for stumbling in him. There is no cause for stumbling. He will have no reason to stumble. Even when the enemy wants him to stumble, he can't stumble. Because he's walking in light. Even when we detro on the wheel of his cloud, he can see it because he's not in darkness. He won't walk into the trap of the wicked because he's not walking in darkness. Verse 11. But he who hates his brother, not just his brother, because somebody will say his only brother is talking about, not sister. Even if you hate your sister. It might not be convenient for my flesh, but my spirit, his spirit in me, will help me to accomplish it. Why? I honor the Lord. I know that life is spiritual. I need God's help. I must follow his help. I need his help. And I need it. That only God can help me. I must omit to his word. I might be crying when praying for those that hold me away when I was in prayer. God is only my flesh that we don't like it. What is it? Is that the way you were insulting? Is that you won't give me the wheel like a heat thought? That's not what I'm thinking about. Praise the Lord. When you know that light is where you are, and that the answer you are looking for is beyond what your effort and your emotion can give you, you will submit to the things of the one you got to I give you this assignment. You are going to change it this morning. What have you been calling your wife? Then Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day. Now, when he saw that he did not prevail against him, he touched the socket of his heap, and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as he wrestled with him. Uh-huh. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaks. But he said, I will not let you go unless you bless me. So he said to him, What is your name? Look at Jacob as I call himself. What they called him. He said, Jacob. And he said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob. He asked for blessing. That blessing can't come until there is a change of name. He needed help. That help will not come until there is a change of name. He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob or Israel, for you are struggled with God and with men and have prevailed. That means I've given you a name, change of name, but you still carry Jacob's mindset. Your name shall not be called Jacob anymore. But Israel shall be your name. So he called his name Israel. Any name the world has given you, we change this money. Any name they has given you, they'll form a mindset in you to make you stay where the world wants you to be. In the name of Jesus, that will be reverse supernaturally this money. You know some people have adjusted themselves to life. Because everything they are conditioned is that we manage it. If you have been in one state, in one condition, in one position for a long time, this morning something will happen in your life and your family that will provoke a super shift.
