We must not just build on Christ, we must build with Christ. This means that you must make the life of Christ the foundation of whatever you build and His principles must be the building blocks of whatever you build. How then do you make Christ your foundation and how do you operate His principles?

Praise the Lord. You are welcome to tonight's Bible study. We are going to continue from where we stopped last Thursday, last week. The message with titled Building What Will Last. Building What Will Last, part two. Whether you are a teenager, you are a youth, you're a man or a woman, you are building something. Because you are being called to build something. Number one, you build your life. Number two, you build families. Number three, you build according to your calling what you are called to do. You build according to God's purpose for your life. Some of you will be called into ministry. Many of you will be called into careers, different careers. Many of you will be called into businesses. But one thing is certain you are going to build. And that's why I want you to pay attention. Don't think you are too young to understand this. The earlier you learn, the better for you. My prayer for everyone, under the sound of my voice, is that at your old age you will have no reason to regret. Because if you don't know how to build and you refuse to build the way God wants you to build, God forbid there will be a reason for regret. I told you on Sunday, I said, we're where we are, not because the devil is powerful. My people are destroyed for what? For lack of knowledge. For lack of knowledge. Not because the devil is powerful, not because the witches and wizards in your family or your environments are insurmountable. I was privileged to minister to a pastor recently. And he says, sir, that he's frustrated. I said, What happened? He said he has dedicated his life to serve the Lord, and he has been serving God faithfully. He said, But financially, things have just refused to work. And he quoted for me a scripture that you serve the Lord thy God and He will bless your bread and water. Is that how please look for where that scripture is? Let's read it. Because before we go into what we are have tonight, I want you to understand the Bible. You say lack of understanding of the scripture is what frustrates our lives. It is in the book of Exodus. Exodus. Quickly, quickly, media, search it out. You serve the Lord your God. Uh-huh. Say, it says so. You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will do what? Bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. Now, this young man is in his forties. And he said, financially, he's struggling, health-wise, he's struggling. Said he has fasted so much that the thing has affected his system. Actually, I had so much compassion for him as he was talking because I've been like that. But you see, listen, when this word came, to whom was it written? The people of Israel. See, um the spiritual heritage you have is not what they had. Their own promised land was Canaan land. Everything they worked for were natural things. That's why their own battle was physical battle, not spiritual. Their enemy. Every enemy they knew were natural enemies. So everything about the life of the people of Israel was natural. So their service to God in their time was for natural reward. But listen, if you go to the book of Hebrews, chapter 11, give me the last verse. Last verse of the Hebrew. I will come back to our message because I want you to understand something. So that you will stir up a desire in you to walk with God in the way you should. And enjoy the best of God so that you will not have any reason to regret at your old age. Go back to verse 39. And all these people mentioned from all the old testament, people in the hall of faith, all this having obtained what a good testimony through faith did not receive what? The promise did not receive the promise. God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. That is, their perfection cannot come before our own. Let's read verse 40 from GNT and L T. Let's have a better understanding. Because God has decided on an even better plan, on an even that's why the covenant they operated under. The Bible said God said it was not good enough. So he enacted a new one. So because God had decided on an even better plan for us, his purpose was that only in company with us would they be made perfect. End of three. That's what the Bible says, when we will stand before the judgment seat of Christ. See, if material things is what God will reward you with for serving him, then it's better I go and serve Dangote. Elon Musk. Many billionaires that don't know God has more money. So if what God is going to reward you with are financial and material things that the world has too much of it, then it's unfair to us. But God will always be a just God. So you get to heaven for the reward of your service. That's why the Bible says, when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, we give account for what we do in this body. And you'll be rewarded according to your work in this body. Now somebody will ask, How come? How do I now get these other things? By your faith. Thank God for Pastor Precious. When he was giving his charge. Okay, for example, we said, walk in love and don't be bitter. And you're expecting, you refuse to listen to that. If only you know what they did to me, I will never forgive. You'll be sick. You'll be what? Sick. It's not a cause. You carry a load, loads of weight, of bitterness and unforgiveness in your heart. You'll be poor because you'll be blind. Remember that first John chapter 9 from verse, 1 John chapter 2, verse 9 to 11. It says, if you walk in hatred, he who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause, no cause for for stumbling in him. Verse 11. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness and does not know where he's going. In family, he won't know where he's going. Maritally, he won't know where he's going. Spiritually, he won't know where he's going. Financially, he will just be stumbling up and down. Nothing will walk. And does not know where he's going because the darkness has what? Blinded his eyes. What will produce prosperity, you won't see it. The revelation you need for the healing of your body will be lacking.

Your heart is corrupted with bitterness, with hatred. So you don't know how much they hurt me. It doesn't matter how much they hurt you. They hurt Jesus more than they hurt you. If with all the deed, if you are Jesus, what will you do? The same people you came to save are the same people mocking you. The same people you came to save. Imagine, you see, when I read the scriptures, I try to put myself, and I say, Jesus, you have tried to I won't stand 1% of this thing. I'll go show them pepper. They put him, somebody will slap him from the back. Say, Shabi, you are a prophet, tell us who slapped you. Look at that mockery. But at the end of the day, on the cross, he said, Father, don't lay it to the account. Don't charge them with this thing, for they don't know what they are doing. He forgives them. Ah, somebody will say that is Jesus. I also saw the case of Stephen. Stephen was being stoned. If Stephen had coughed, we wouldn't have had about Saul, who became Paul. See, some of the people tormenting you, God is going to use them. So it doesn't matter how much you hate them, it won't change anything. So what am I trying to show us? The need, the need for us to pay attention to God's word. The need for us to practice God's word intentionally. That's where life is. You can't live anyhow. Don't be deceived. And think you can bribe God with long prayers and with seed. Your seed and your prayer can't change God's mind because God will never violate his word. God is bound by his own word. Do you understand that? So when you are giving seed, when you are praying, do it from the heart of obedience, a heart of love for God and for people. So building what will last. Building what? What will last? Let me ask you a question. If you are above 21, this question is for you. Let me leave the younger ones. They are up to 21 and above. Because somehow you have contributed to where you are now. You have made your decisions, certain decisions, secretly, contrary to what your parents want for you. Do you know how many times you have deceived just to have your will done? Huh? You lied. So that you can be believed. Praise the Lord. Do you know when people want to force you to believe what they want, they will have to lie to you to make you reason with them over what they are saying. What you don't know is that if you want to make people comply with your you're on your own. Because when the results of that decision comes, you'll be the one to enjoy the results. Only you. Somebody is interested in marrying a non-believer. And he said, but he loves God though. Some people have offended him in the church in the past. So that his heart is still God. But he's not coming to, he's not worshiping. And and beyond that, she he's a very generous person now. In fact, he loves me. I just laugh in La France. And you try to cover everything up so that everybody can accept that the person is godly, is a good man, is a nice man. Sorry, sorry, ma'am. Look at how Jesus described everyone that believes in him to tell you that you and I are created to last. John chapter 10, verse 27 to 30. John chapter 10, verse 27 to 30. My sheep hear my voice. They do what? You can see that everything is predicated on hearing his voice. What's the purpose of hearing his voice? To obey, to follow. And I know them, and they do what? They follow me. They follow me. They hear my voice, they follow me. Now see what follows. Verse 28. And I give them temporary life. What do you call eternal? Forever life. Life that is meant to last. Look at it. And I give them eternal life. And they shall I love that word, never perish. They shall never perish. That's why I don't think about hell. I can never perish. The life in me is not temporal. I can never perish. That's why I follow him. What matters is for me to follow him. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. Neither, neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand. Nobody can snatch me out of his hand. What do you call that? Temporary life, very durable, life without end. Look at the next verse. My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. That all, whatsoever wants to truncate their life, whatsoever wants to abort their longevity, whatsoever wants to terminate their life, or whatsoever they build, my father who gave them to me is greater than all those things. See, see, church, when you build according to what we are sharing, we started sharing no mother-in-law, no brother-in-law, no sister-in-law, no father-in-law can destroy your marriage. Now you begin to say, somebody said, even you know the kind of mother-in-law where I get. You. He said, the father who gave you to him is greater than all. Is greater than how many? All. Now you are telling me that when you are building your marriage on Christ and with Christ, somebody will now scatter it. Who is that person? Let me show you something. Second Corinthians ten. Sorry. No, Second Corinthians four. No, is it four or ten? Okay, ten. Second Corinthians ten, verse six. Second Corinthians ten verse six. This one. And being ready to do what. The strength of the enemy's disobedience in your life is in your own disobedience. Can I swing my grammar again? The strength. If the enemy attacks you, they are disobeying God. Touch no man notched and do my prophet no harm. Is that disobedience? But if you want every disobedience against you to be punished, your own obedience. And be ready to do what? Punish all disobedience. When your obedience is what? Fulfilled. You are not practicing the word. And then, and then, when the enemy refuses to obey the word concerning the issues of your life, you want the enemy to be punished. Then what about you? Because the enemy is only following your pattern. Jesus helped me this night. This is a night of deliverance for somebody. Give and it shall be given. You are called into a life of generosity. Say, no, God knows. Adjust the manage. Give and it shall be given. Good measure. Press down. Shaking together and running over. Shall men give. Shall who? Men give. Said with the same measure you give, it shall be given to you. You know, said, God knows, say, now manage that they manage. Now every other people too will be managing. They won't be able to remember you. Even when you are crying in their presence, they are managing. You should understand. Because you have created a pattern. Is it hard? I'm showing you the truth. That's why look as if you have prayed and prayed and prayed. You fasted and fasted. You did everything. Nothing seems to be working. Check your obedience, obedience, obedient, obedience, no meter. Obediometer. Check it. So if you are built to last, everything you build should last. If you build according to the pattern of him that built you. Do you understand that? Because it is when you behold him, you learn how he build. And you build like him. When you build like him, you will produce this kind of results. Listen. To build a family, to build a marriage, to build a ministry, to build a business, to build a career, and to build a life that will last. I told you last Thursday, you must build on Christ and build with Christ. You must do what? Build on Christ and build with Christ. You must build on Christ. Last week I was trying to show you what it means to build on Christ. To build on Christ means whatsoever you build must be built on the person of Christ. On the life of Christ. Let me show you in another way. Let me explain it another way. Christ must be the foundation upon which we build. Christ must be the what? The foundation upon which we build. And I told us that. How do you know that Christ is the foundation? Check genuinely who you are living for. Who are you living for? That is who you are building on. Who are you living for? Listen. As a child of God, you have only two options. To either live for Christ or live for yourself. But somebody will say, but there are believers who are not living for Christ, who are not living for themselves. They live for money. They live for material things. No, no, no, no. Any believer living for money and material things is actually living, actually living for themselves. Because as far as they are concerned, that is what they need to survive. So if you think money and material things are what will make you, and you spend all your life seeking how to get it, even at the risk of disobeying God. Just know that you are not building on Christ, you are building on yourself. And you cannot contain anything. You can't carry the weight of your marriage, you can't carry the weight of your business, you can't carry the weight of your ministry, you can't carry it. No matter how much you try. Listen, church, check it. Every time you are feeling the weight excessively of anything you are doing, your what is going on in your marriage wants to drive you colour. Just know that that thing is built on your shoulder. It's built on you. It shows you have been living for yourself. Every time you live for yourself, the weight of what you build will be heavy on you. Because you will see everything from the point of personal gain. Because everything that is not working in your favor will weigh you down. Because everything is about you, no money. And so it is account we don't get money. I'm a blessed man. I'm a blessed man. So I shouldn't be way down. But if I found myself way down, I'm showing you something, church. If I found myself way down, it's because I'm too self-conscious. Now somebody will come and ask me for money. I will now tell them, say I know get. See how much should they put down? See, you are conscious of self. Everybody will buy this cloth now. And now no go feed by. It's you, it's about you. That's why the weights will be much on you. Because you'll be disturbed about people's opinions. I was reading E. W. Kenyon's book, and he said, Dead men are not rude. Dead men. So I now added my own. Dead men cannot be oppressed. Go to mortuary. Go to mortuary. You will see people like this naked. You will see Gen Zid naked. Fine complexion, naked. Figure eight, naked. They're not being complained. Say, what a shit. Where are my clothes? Because dead men don't complain. They are served whatever you do to their body. They don't give a shit. Am I talking to somebody? See, what complains in us is our old man, our human nature. It's our human nature that feels whatsoever people are doing to us. Listen, listen. If Jesus operates with human nature, if I don't kill everybody. One pastor, I think in uh Gumb State. One pastor. He's been speaking a lot these days for against government, against for all the killings, which is commendable. But you see, he puts a video of one non-entity who is uh all those Islamic extremists. And he said, doctor something, something is his name. He said he removed the doctor, he said he cannot, he said to call this one a doctor is an insult to PhD or medical profession, whichever it is. The guy was speaking in Alsa, he said Jesus was a thief. Jesus was, I won't say all this that you say with my mouth. Call Jesus all manner of names. So this pastor now said, since they always put a bounty on the head of a believer, of a Christian, that they say, he said, he too is offering two million for whosoever will cut the head of this guy and bring it to him. But you know, I said, no, that's not the way of our Lord. We are not called to do that. That they are doing it. So he was saying, let all let all of us be mad in this country. No, no, we don't have to be mad with them. We don't have to be mad with them. If they are killers, we are not killers. If they are murderers, we are not murderers. Their lifestyle, because that's their nature, should not determine how we live. Listen, there are a lot of things we need to see in the Bible. Some of them are hard to say, but we still have to say it. Because I don't care that somebody who doesn't have the understanding of the scripture wants to determine for us how we should live as believers. What you think, what you feel, I don't care. As long as we are following the precepts of Jesus. Let me show you something before we continue. I'm going for this night. Anyway, where the time is, I will stop. Give me, give me Revelation chapter 6. Revelation chapter 6. Let's quickly read from verse 1. There's something I want to show you. See, no matter how much we protect ourselves, no matter how much we pray against, anyone that has been appointed to be killed will still be killed. And that is difficult to say. But that is the truth. Okay, now I saw when the lamb opened one of the seals, and I had one of the four living creatures saying, with a voice like thunder, come and see. Verse 2. And I looked, and behold, the white horse, he who sat on it, had a bow, and a crown was given to him. These are showing what will happen at the end of the age. And he went out conquering and to conquer. I've reached along this in the past. So, verse 3. When he opened the second seal, I had the second living creature saying, Come and see. Verse 4. Another horse fearing red went out, and it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth. It was granted to the one who sat on that soul to do what? To take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another. And there was given to him a great sword. No matter how much you pray, how much we fast, killers will see kill. That's why somebody is sick. Nobody asks, what do we do? To send him or her to the hospital to get the person well. But when the person dies, everybody wants to honor and pay their last respects. Any respect, you will not give me one idea alive. Keep it to yourself when I'm gone. Say, Pastor, it's hard this evening. I'm telling you the truth. And another horse, very red, and it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth. And that people should kill one another. And there was given to him what? A graceword. Verse 5. When he opened the third seal, I had the third living creature say, Come and see. So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. Verse 6. And I had the voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius. And do not hand the oil and the wine. This is scarcity of things. When he opened the fourth seal, I had the voice of the four living creatures saying, Come and see. Verse 8. So I looked, and behold, a pale horse, and the name of him who sat on it was death, and hate is followed with him, and power was given to them over the fort of the earth, to kill with what? With hunger, with death, and by what? The beast of the earth. Verse 9. This is where I'm going. This is where I'm going. When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony with the held. Verse 10. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge ablood on those who dwell on the earth. Verse 11. Then a white robe was given to each of them, and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who will be killed as they were was completed. Please, at this end time, let's study our Bible so that we won't be deceived by popular opinions. A lot of Christians are discouraged. What is God looking at? You see, because our life in the presence of God is too secure that Jesus says, You can kill the body, you can kill my soul. After all, if you kill this body, see the only Exhibits you have is your body. The only problem you have now is your body. That's why this body. No, they enter heaven. The Bible says we receive a new body that is heaven compliant. We live our life to protect. What does not last? You can kill this body, I'm still alive. To be absent in the body is to be present with Christ. I love what Apostle Paul said. Please, let's read our Bible. He said, I'm thinking about what to do. Whether as you die or as you stay. He said, but the only reason I want to stay. He said to die is better. To die is what? Better. He said, but I have to stay because of you. To help you grow in the knowledge of Christ, to bring you to where I am. Leave that thing. See, if there is no change in our mindset, it will be difficult to build what we last. Because we'll be building on ourselves and we think we are building on Christ. If they say something about me and they pain me, I ask, oh boy, it's only your flesh that can be pained. The real me is a mass in the Holy Ghost. I see beyond what is happening. Nobody's opinion can stop me. Let's see how we make it. That are like grass today. Tomorrow they fade away. You are threatening me.

What can man do? So you are disturbed about what men will do to you. It's because you are in the flesh. It doesn't matter who is against you, the one who is for you is mom. They have no capacities to stop what he is doing in your life if you build according to his pattern. Does it matter? The occultic powers that existed in your father's family, your mother's family, in your village, in your neighborhood, that is holding everybody captive. Uh uh, you are not their victim. You are not their victim. You are not what? Oh. Like some of you does not believe it. Say, I am not their victim. You are not their victim. You are not their victim. And you can never be their victim if you understand what we are talking about. So who you live for is actually the foundation on who you are building. Don't forget 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 16. He said, if we know that he died for all. He said, then we that live should no longer live for ourselves. No, verse 15, sorry. Verse 15. 2 Corinthians 5, 15. And he died for all. That those who live should do what? Should live no longer for themselves. But for him who died for them and rose again. So who you live for is the foundation you are building upon. Please, church, decide tonight that you will build only for Christ. Your marriage should be for Christ. Your career should be for Christ. Not for your enjoyment. That's where the problem is. When you build for Christ, the enjoyment will come. You enjoy the pleasure of that thing. Because when you build for Christ, ultimately the fruit of what you are building will show. I was listening to analysis of somebody who was analyzing how plants grow. He said, the same way you see branches on a tree, he said, it's similar like that under the ground. That's the same way the root spread. When it is going growing down, you will be wondering this thing that I'm just weeding and spending my energy. When there's no rain, I sprinkle water. This thing, when is it going to grow and start producing fruit? No, it first of all must grow downwards. When it is growing downwards, you are not seeing it. But you see, what grows downwards is what will produce the stability for what we grow upwards. I watch one of these hurricanes in one of these foreign countries. When it blows, when the hurricane came, it was uprooting massive trees. Uprooting them. But when it got to palm trees, where those palm trees were. The palm trees only bent. The best the wind could do was to bend them. And when the wind was over, they stood again. Because they when uh what do they call it? Palm tree grows, it grows deep into the ground before it begins to come up. So when the wind will come, it's too established to be uprooted. It is too established to be uprooted, and as a result, the storm will come and pass. The same storm that uproots other massive trees, including the great roco trees, will only bend the palm tree. When the storm is over, it stands again. No matter the storm that comes, you will stand. So when you build by him, the worst the storm can do is temporarily. When you bend, they think you have lost. Ah, they will see you rise again. I said they will see you rise again in the name of Jesus. So build your marriage, build your family, build your ministry, build your career, build your life on Christ as your foundation. And how you do that is by living for him and not living for yourself. Recognize that Jesus Christ is your life. Be intentional. See, when you begin to live for him, you no longer pay attention to the matters of self. Hear what John the Baptist said. John chapter 3, verse 26 to 30. John chapter 3, verse 26 to 30. He who believes in the Son has what? Has what? Everlasting life. Not a brief life. Has everlasting life. And he who does not believe the Son shall not see life. But the wrath of God abides on him. Verse 37. Therefore, when the Lord. Okay. Verse 26, verse 27. John 3. Okay. Media, please let's clap for media. They are doing well. See, media, even the church is reluctant to clap for you. Praise the Lord. But don't worry, you're all doing fine. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from where? From heaven. You yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him. Verse 29. He who has the bride is the bridegroom, but the friend of the bridegroom who stands and hears him rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voices. You prioritizes the voice of the bridegroom. Therefore, this joy of mine is fulfilled. You know, when there should be what led to that? Let's read back. Let's go back. Go back. Let me. You need to understand what led to this discussion. Go back to verse 25. Verse 25. Then there arose a dispute between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purification. Verse 26. And they said to John and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he is baptizing and all are coming to him. See, some people, if you ask, if you if you live for self, God forbid, who may be go kill you. Then go what? They can kill you. Jesus. They came to report Jesus to John. They came to John and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he is baptizing. In other words, what you are doing. Jesus is doing the same thing. What kind of rubbish is that? And he's getting more, and all are coming to him. Crowd are not coming to you again. They are all going to him. Verse 27. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. The next verse. You yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the Christ. But I have been sent before him. Don't put me into trouble. Verse 29. He who has the bride is the bridegroom, but the friend of the bridegroom who stands and hears him rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore, this joy of mine is fulfilled. What should upset him is making him to be joyful. Now look at verse 30. That's where I'm going. He must. He must increase. But I must see. If if you are truly building your life on Christ, building your marriage, business, career, everything on Christ, this should be your motto. He must increase. I must. But if you are still competing with Christ, you are just concerned about your increase. At the expense of his increase, something is wrong. You are building on a wrong foundation. And that foundation will be too weak to withstand the storms of life when it comes. He must increase. I must what? Decrease. Unfortunately, many believers can't see that. That's why you see. When God's word that can change some people's lives are going on, they don't pay attention. Because the word doesn't matter to them. Life is all about them. Life is all about them. It's about what they want, it's about how it should be. Listen, may you not have a reason to regret tomorrow. In the name of Jesus. Because nothing happens automatically, things don't happen on their own. You have to build according to God so that you can get the God's kind of results. I've seen people who appear to be rich. They have everything going on for them. But as they get to their, they grow older, they begin to diminish. Massive house, massive house. But everywhere looks dilapidated. Because he couldn't maintain it again. And he made a statement. He said, the worst aspect is I want to sell this house. Nobody is buying it. He said every day he spent in this house remind him of when he used to have money. He said that is tormenting enough. And those who knew him, including one of his children, said the way they said it in Yoruba, they said when their father used to be the gene inside the bottle. This man, he enjoyed life. May that not be your story. Build on who? On Christ. Build on who? You see, one of the things I ever don't want to find personally, I prayed it. Lord, I don't want to get to a point at my old age that I wish I could reverse back the time. May you not find yourself in that condition. You are young. Very soon you'll be old. You know, every time I talk to you, I remember when I was 25 and I bought a car. Belgium car kits. And to me, I was living the best of my life. As a young man. But I didn't know what I know now. I didn't have anyone to tell me what I'm telling you. I thought at 25, I still have long, even though my mind was, because of my health situation then, I thought I would die by 30. But I said so. Let me enjoy my life. I wasn't born again. But it looked as if 50 was very far. 60 was very, very far. Like it's far to you now. You are 20, say 60. 40 years, long, long. 40 years. Like play, like play. You are 60. Like play. Because like play, like play. I don't go to 60, 61. Like play, like play. When I was 50, 20, 14, I told myself before 60, yeah, I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this, this, what I think. Like play, like play. The 60 came. I said, I was at that and said, Jesus, what's going on here? Ten years ago, it's so brief. Think well, think well. Do you know the beauty of being in Christ? It's never too late to start aligning. It's never too late. It's never too late to start aligning with him. I love what somebody said. He said, when you wake up, it's your morning hour. You wake up at 5 p.m., tell everybody good morning. If they say you are not okay, that's their problem. You know, say you just wake up. So good morning. I stand on this exalted altar of the Lord. I lift up my hands before the Lord. I decree over your life at your old age, you will have no reason to regret. Over your children, you will not regret.

Every good thing God will use you to build will outlive you. In the mighty name of Jesus. Please take your seat. Because secondly, we are supposed to look at to build what will last, you must build with Christ. You must build with Christ. You must build with Christ. So building with Christ has to do with building with the principles or the wisdom of Christ. Building with the principles or what? The wisdom was. Let me just read one scripture then. Let me stop. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 4 to 5. 1 Corinthians 2, verse 4 to 5. We start from here next week, but let me just show you a few things. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 4 to 5. And my speech. That means human wisdom can easily persuade you. But in demonstration of the spirit and of what? And of power. The next verse. That your faith, let's read it together. One, two, go. That your faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in what? In the power of God. That your faith will not be in the wisdom of men. I've shared one story here before. I think around 1978. I was just saying, I no, 79. 79. That's 70. 79 or 80. I was still with my uncle. I newly moved in with him not too long then. And he he married one woman then who was who came from London. You know, the woman and the husband lived in UK, so they had issues. So the woman came to Nigeria, and somebody introduced her to my husband as a native doctor. I don't over talk. So my uncle as a native doctor. And uh what was her purpose? She wanted to do charm so that the husband will love her more. So my uncle did the charm for her. She just went back to London, packed her things, and come and stay with my uncle in one room. Are you okay? Say no, I found the love of my life. She brought the children back home. Rented a place for them in a place they call it solo. My uncle lived in Osho Di. So one of the weekend, the children came to my uncle's to visit because there was nowhere for them to sleep. We did sleep for sit um for corridor. So the no sleep for corridors. So on the as they were going back that Friday, so I followed them and my uncle's last son, so we followed them. So on Saturday, they said they were going to visit one of their own uncles at a place they call a jigo. So we went together. So that uncle, their uncle's son, said they should go and swim. So they went to a river in those days at a jigo. So that their uncle's son removed the cloth. Very small boy. I was older than him then. I didn't say this in my age. This was just removed and dived into the river. Swam and came out after a quite a distance and came back. I said nonsense, I can do the same thing. So I removed my clothes. Yes, so if not for God's mercy, you will know they hear this man here today. I just dived into the into the river. The next thing, my head no come up, my leg no touch ground. I was struggling. That yeah, uh Uncle Son quickly dived into the water to come and hold me. But as I was doing good to go to go, he couldn't touch me. So but you see, at the time I looked up, I saw a floating stick. I trusted in that floating stick, then the person wanted to come and carry me. I grabbed the stick as if it would help me to float. As I drew the stick, and we both enter under water again. At the time, the young man just tapped me to tell me that I'm here, don't struggle. Just held me by the waist and carried me up. I don't drink water food. What am I trying to say? In that midst, in the midst of that struggle, my faith was on that floating stick. Instead, on somebody who can genuinely help me. That's a problem with many of us. You believe too much in your common sense. That's why what we are studying, our series, we're continuing on Sunday. The power of a transformed heart. Listen to your heart, listen to your heart. You are listening to a wicked heart. If your heart is not transformed and you are listening to it, it will drown you. Because a wicked heart will always align with your selfishness. It will always align with your selfish desires to do things the way it pleases you. Because that desire comes from that heart. So everything it will move you to do will be something that will satisfy his position. Your tomorrow is in your hands. You are the one that will cooperate with God. So that the tomorrow He ordained for you can be fulfilled. If you are going to be truthful to yourself, check in, look in was very well. Some of the pains you are going through now, you saw the seed yesterday. Paul said his preaching was not with enticing wisdom of man, so that the people's faith will not be in the wisdom of man, it can be in the power of God. You know, some of you will enjoy it if I say every of your enemy that has kept you where you are. See, it is easy to blame every other person except you. See, it is pure spiritual laziness and ignorance to shift the blame of your condition to others without seeing where you empower them to carry out their ministry in your life. Do you understand that? I'm not disputing the fact that you might have an adversary, people might be working against you, but their strength is in your own weakness. Their strength is in what? The weakness. The weakness you have refused to submit to the Lord. Some people are in prison today facing death sentence because of anger. They never meant to kill the person they killed. It was just one moment of madness. Out of anger. Carry something, hit somebody in the head. And the person died, their eye clear. See, if all of us as believers we submit to God's word, God has made things easy for us. If you build on Christ and with Christ, sincerely you will enjoy peace. Next Thursday, we will look further into it. We look deeply on how to build with Christ. That is building with his principles and building with his wisdom. Um Pastor Precious showed us a little insight today along that line. Again, to expand it more. Next Thursday, my prayer is that God will give you a humble heart, a heart that is willing to learn. See, it doesn't matter how much you give an excuse for doing what is wrong, the result will show at the end of the day. Stop defending your weaknesses. Submit to God's strength. Stop excusing your excesses. Submit to God's strength. Am I talking to somebody? Build with his principles. That is why he gave us one fruit of the spirit among many. It's called long suffering. What's the meaning of love suffering? Patience endurance. Patient endurance. Patient endurance. If you are in a hurry, you are not patient for God to work on you in order to walk with you, it will show at the end of the day. The reason why a lot of us are not patient because you want no no no no no no. Life is all about you. It shouldn't be. Shouldn't be. Not out of disrespect. But on the fact that you are not too old for God to make. He said, I just ministered to him. I said, not all of us will be David who will ascend the throne at 30. Not all of us will be Joseph, who will get into the palace at 30. That some of us are testimony, Abraham. At 75 was when he got the promise. And he thought it will happen very fast. He was hundred before the manifestation. But the beauty is that he lived long. Because God has a capacity to extend your years for the fulfillment of what he wants to do with your life. Can I announce it to you again? I'm just starting. If you are not 60, you don't know life yet. I don't shock you now. It shocked you. Am I talking to somebody? You can, you see, my pastor and all of them that are close to 60, they are smelling the sweetness of life at 60. Is that true, Pastor? God bless you, son. Praise the Lord. Nobody tells you that as you grow older, you begin to somebody say. Do you know what the Bible see? Moses has already accepted his fate. That nothing will happen again. He has accepted to walk with his father-in-law for the rest of his life. But God, who gave him the vision, never forgets. He said, I allow you to be there for a reason. When that reason is accomplished, I will come back for you. You think God has forgotten you? No, He's coming back for you. Your difficult moment is your moment of transformation. All the challenges you have been faced with, God is working on you. You are not even aware he's working on you. Check your life, some of you, how you used to behave four years ago, five years ago. The thing where you are used to vex you, he said, I beg like no hand. God is saying, Well done, you are moving closer to where I want you to be. You are moving closer. The thing you used to complain about, I beg you not disturbed my life. Like that's simple. You are moving closer. So when God saw that Moses was ready, he showed up. At 80. At 80, and at 80, he was strong. In fact, at 120, he was not ready to die. It was uh the problem that whether he put himself into the people of Israel put him into that. God said, Okay, you don't do go and climb. See, he didn't say die on the plain ground, say climb mountain. 120-year-old man, climb mountain to go and die there. At his old age, he was climbing mountain to go and receive the law and come back. He said, he said, he's he said, as he grows older, he that somebody under the law, how much more you under grace, how much more you than Jesus died for. Am I talking to somebody? Pastor Raymond. We know the our body not go green old, we're just getting younger. I did through if it vessels you now. You know your problem. Let's rise up on our feet, let's rise up on our feet. Build what will last. Your body is meant to last. I say your body is meant to last, and your body will last in the name of Jesus, your marriage will last, your business will last, your career will last in the name of Jesus. Everything God has called you to build will last. Your ministry will last in the name of Jesus. Can you thank the Lord that you are built to last? Give him thanks because you are built to last.

Your life is not over. Let me tell your neighbor, your life is not over. No matter what anybody thinks or feel about you, they are ignorant of what God has in store for you. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it come into the heart of men. What God has prepared for you that love him. Something God has prepared. You will attain it, you will fulfill it in the name of Jesus. Now, a certain woman named Lydia Hados, she was a seller of purple from the city of Theatra who worshipped God, who did what he was, she worshiped God, she served God, but she didn't know too many things. Her heart was still partially corrupt. She was resistant to God's. Word. But at a point, the Lord opened her heart to do what? To heed or practice or do the things spoken by Paul. Listen, it is not the word of God you will hear that bless your life, it's the word of God that you practice. The word of God that you apply. It's not enough to jump. It's nice to receive God's word with joy. But when you are being tested because of the word you believe, we use this hand. When the devil will come for you in order to convince you that God's word that you have believed is not true. Will you listen to him or you tell him, Satan, you are late? God's word is a final for me. See, I have burned the bridge behind me. When they say people backslid, I don't know how to do it. I don't know how. Backslid to where? You backslid when there is space behind you. There is no space behind me. Where will I backslid to? No room. No room. Okay. I'm standing here. You now tell me to backslid. To where? When the Lord is my rock. The rock is behind me. Is before me, is besides me. In him I live. In him I move. I love that. In him I live. In him I move. See, even when you want to backslide, he's still inside him. You are going nowhere. You aren't going anywhere. Nobody can snatch you from his hand. Except you are not born again in the first instance. You are born again, you are going nowhere. Let me tell your neighbor, no devil can take you from God's hand. You are built to last. Lift up your voice and say, In the name of Jesus, Father, open my heart and help me, oh Lord, to practice your word from today.
