You will always build with what you trust. Christ can't be your foundation until you learn to trust in Him. Not all results are founded in truth. To have the mind of Christ is to have the knowing of Christ. When you have the knowing of Christ, you see problems for what they are, as part of the process to refinement and upliftment.

Go on. And in the midst of the seven lampstands, one like the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the feet, and gathered about the chest with a golden band. Verse 14. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes like a flame of fire. Go on. There's something I want to show you. His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in the furnace, and his voice as the sound of many waters. Verse 16. He had in his right hand seven stars out of his mouth went a sharp two edges toward, and his countenance was like the sun shining in his strength. Verse 17. And when I saw him, this is where I'm going. When I saw him, when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying to me, Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last. Do you know what I wanted to see? The same Jesus that John will sit down and talk and put his head on his chest, and they will talk. The same Jesus was the person he saw in this place. The same Jesus that Peter that talked and Peter felt that it wasn't making sense, drew him back and rebuked him. The same Jesus, when John saw him in the fullness of his glory, he fainted. Listen, if there is anything you and I need, it is a revelation of Jesus. Forget all the things you run after. When you see Jesus, your life can't remain the same. Most of the things we see in the church is because men and women have not met with Jesus. When you truly meet with Jesus, you cannot remain the same. There are a lot of things that matters to you now that will never matter again. When you truly encounter Jesus, my prayer is that the Lord will open your eyes to see him. You can't see him and feel threatened by anything. If you are afraid of death, you have not seen him. Hear what Paul said. He said, I'm caught between two opinions. Whether to stay or to go. He said, Going is better. Because I'm going to be permanently with the one I have beheld in his glory. He said, But I will stay because of you. So that I can bring you to where I am standing. Stephen saw him. He despised death. I beheld my Lord standing on the right hand of the throne in his glory. Suddenly, pain had no effect on him anymore. All the stoning, all the if you are still concerned that people are attacking you, speaking ill of you, you just behold Jesus. When you see him, you care less about what anybody is throwing at you. Am I talking to somebody? I don't know why I have to preach that short message.

See, the world is not going to get better. I've told you that, I've made that statement countless times. The world is not going to get better. I will continue from where I stopped last Thursday. Building what will last. Building what will last. Building your life. Building your marriage. Building your family. Building your career, building your ministry. Building your business. Whatsoever God has committed into your hands to build, you must build what will last. Because you are built to last. Except you are not born again. If you are born again, you have what? Eternal life. Eternal life is not a temporary life. Eternal life is the life that has no end. So you are built to last. So whatsoever you build must last. So I told us that to build what will last, you must build on Christ. You must build on Christ and build with Christ. So that means Christ must be the foundation upon which you build whatsoever you build. Christ must be the foundation upon which you build whatsoever you are called to build. And Christ, being the wisdom of God, must be the instrument with which you build. He must be your building blocks. I told us that to make Christ the foundation of whatsoever you build, you must live for him. You must do what? See, whosoever you live for is a person you are building on. Whosoever you are living for has become the foundation of whatsoever you build. Because anything you build will be for the sake of who you are living for. And I told you, as believers, you either live for yourself or live for Christ. One of the two. So because of that in mind, we invested so much in the foundation. That's why you can't see cracks on our wall. You see, when you see crack in the wall of a house, the problem is not actually with the wall, it's from the foundation. When we are to do the roofing, I'm trying to use that as an illustration for you to understand the spiritual things we are talking about. When we are to do the roofing, the person that was introduced to us was not good at what he does. And I was telling somebody yesterday, I said if you need everything to be okay, to function well in what you are called to do. You are not good at your work. When all these things are in place, then I can perform. You are not good. Those who are good at their craft don't need everything to function. What makes them function is in it is in the inside of them. That's why somebody can just have a keyboard. Press keyboard and sing. And God's presence will be palpable, it would be awesome. Then another person will have all the equipment. Multitudes of them. The best the person will do is to entertain us. We can only jump, not move in the spirit. Because it's not about the multitudes of the instruments that you have, it's about the working of the spirit in the inside of you. The same thing. Stop waiting for when I have this equipment, I have that equipment, I have that. That is limiting you. Do you know that whatsoever you have per time? Hey, I'm preaching another message for somebody. Whatever you have per time is enough for that time. When God sees that you are faithful in that which is least little, and he find you faithful in much, he will bring more than you need. That's why capital, capital, you are looking for who will give you one million, two million to start that business. God forbid, though, may you not die without seeing the realization of that business. If all he puts in your hand is hundred thousand, fifty thousand, just know that that's what you need for that moment. Then you need to engage the wisdom of God. You need to engage the mind of Christ to make use of that thing that he has given to you. You see him multiply it beyond your wildest imagination. So if the devil is telling you, until you have this, until you have this, until you have this, that is the way of men. Not the ways of God. You see, that's why he's God. He used the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. What others would despise. That's why he would tell somebody fighting multitudes of soldiers. Say, look at the jawbone of an ass. Take it. That's the weapon you need. You don't need a sword. That's why David, when he when David was confronted, has to face Goliath. Saul tried to put all the things that didn't work for him. Tried to put it on David. I've not tried this before. It's not about how much I am fortified. I know someone who helped me in the bush when Lion came, when the beer came. And then he picked five stones with his sling catapults. And when he was talking to Goliath, he was telling me, Today your head will be removed from your neck. He has no sword. He had no sword. He saw. And I say something to you. Whatever you are doing. And it looks as if you don't have enough. Go back home now, today, and tell yourself, I have what I need for this season. I have what I need for this season. Oh Lord, how do I make use of this thing? I think I spoke by the Spirit to somebody. May the Lord give you ears. Because that's not part of my message. That thing that looks like nothing. Something big will come out of it. I said something big will come out of it. If you are the one I'm talking to, in the name of Jesus, the Lord will open your eyes to comprehend what God has in store for you concerning your life, your business, your career, and all that pertains to you in the name of Jesus. So this evening we are going to look further. We have been looking at how to build on Christ. Building on Christ as a foundation. If you are not here when we last week and upper week, please go to our Telegram page. Listen to the message very well over and over. The Lord will speak to you through it. Now, to build what will last, you must build with Christ. You must build with who? We have talked about building on Christ, but today we are talking about building with Christ. So building with Christ has to do with building your life, building your family, building your marriage, building your ministry, your business or career with the principles or the wisdom of Christ. Don't be deceived. Whatsoever you are building, you are building with certain principles. You are building with certain wisdom, whether you know it or not. Nobody just build. Everybody builds. With certain principles. You might be building with the principles of your culture. You might be building with the principles of your environments, worldly principles. Because whatsoever is built must be built with something. Apostle Paul strongly showed us the importance of building with Christ. He made a powerful statement in 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 4 to 6. Let's quickly read through it. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 4 to 6. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of what? So that means there are woman wisdom that can be very persuasive. It will make sense when you hear it. But in demonstration of the spirit and of what? And of power. Now, now look at why he is preaching was not with persuasive words of woman wisdom. He said, So that your faith, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. So that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in walmart in the power of God. However, we speak wisdom among those who are walking mature. We speak wisdom among Those who are what mature. The wisdom we are talking about, it takes a mature heart to comprehend it. When such wisdom is displaced before people who are not mature, they will say that he doesn't know what person is going through. This thing that he's talking, he doesn't know because the person is immature. Because when you are receiving the wisdom of God, it will not make sense to your natural mind. However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age who are what? Coming to nothing. The wisdom of this world will come to nothing. That means they will help you to build. But what you build will not last. That's why I've seen lots of people who started well and ended badly. As a time, everything seems to be going on well for them because they were operating the principles of this world. One of my sons in this church, years ago, he used to be with us before he relocated out of Portacott. He told me he got he was pursuing the contract and then somebody took him to the presidency. He went to Asorock with the person. The person took him from office to office and at the end of the day, they told him that they said to help him get the contract, he should bring five million. You see, the reality is that the contract actually existed. But he wanted to get it through the system, the wisdom of men. So I told him I said, son, don't do it. I said if God can help you to see that that contract exists, he can also make room for you to get it. When God favors you, people will help you, even when they don't they don't like you. He said, Daddy, you know this is Nigeria. You know how things, if one is going to get this size of contract, you have to bribe. I said, son, don't do it. Left. And he went around and borrowed, told people about it, borrowed five million. And he gave the money to them. Because the person that took him that gave the money to claim that he was a brigadier general in the army. So he kept on meeting the person in hotels because there are boys always surrounding.

I want you to learn now. See, whatsoever you have to cheat and lie to get will not last. It's not about what you get now. It's about what lasts in your hands. Listen. There is going to be a lot of shaking in the world. It's only what you build by God that will stand. It's only what you build by the wisdom of God that will stand. That's why don't compare yourself to anybody. Am I talking to somebody? Oh, they have all left me behind. They are looking down on me. Everybody's doing well. All my colleagues. The race is not to the swift. The battle is not to the strong. It's not about how we started, it's about how we end it. To call long story short. The man said is that his wife died. And he had to do the barrier first. Even told him to print t-shirts for him. I said, don't try it. Do you know? You see, some of you, when we talk, that's why at times I don't like doing counseling. Because many of you just come and waste my time. Tell you the truth, you still go and do what you feel is right. He said that the man is he knows a lot of people. That even government was owing N NPC was owing him almost one billion dollars. I said it's okay. Finally. And after I told him, I said, you will go for that burial. He said he didn't have money. I said, I will give you money. I want you to learn from this. He printed t-shirts and sent to the man as his own contribution for the burial. So he didn't have money for transport. The burial was supposed to be in a nugu, in the village, the man's village. So I gave him money, toe and fro. I said, because if I give you going a low, you'll be stranded there. Take toe and fro. So he went to the village. He took Okada. When they got to the village, he said, he's asking for Brigadier General, so so and so that the wife died. That where is are they doing the burial? They said, everyone he asked said they don't know any brigadier general that the wife died. That the only person burying the wife is not an army officer. Finally, he said they should take him to the only for him to get there. He just saw where two or three are gathered together. No canopy, nothing. Few people just stood. So when they he asked of the man, the man came out. He got angry. What are you doing here? Who asked you to come here? He told me, he said, no single military presence. So when the decided dragging him, those he owe five million. I said, I pray for you in the name of Jesus, the Lord will help you. There is nothing else I can do for you. The Lord will help you. To be carnally minded is what? Death. Do you know why some of us are not experiencing the power of God? You see, we are afraid of failing. And because the fear, that fear of failing will not allow us to trust God because the ways of God will never make sense. To never make sense. At times you are too desperate. When you are too desperate, you can't walk well with God. You know, I've concluded my life that his plan for me will always prevail. No matter who doesn't like my face. No matter the policies in the governments, God's plan for me will always, if it didn't work now, that means it's not the right time. They told me it would take a long time, but it took about two, three months.

Listen, I pray for everyone under the sound of my voice. As the Lord lives, as the Lord lives, the grace, the grace to walk in the spirit and align yourself with the will of God for your life. Let that grace rest upon you now in the name of Jesus. And I pray that God will give you an understanding heart to help you to comprehend it. Look at what Apostle Paul said. He said, Okay, we read it. He said, The wisdom that he shares is not the wisdom of this word that is passing away. It will work, but it will not last. Get this, church. Get this before we go further. You will always build with what you trust. You always do what? Build with what you trust. That's why. Your pastor tells you this is the way to go. Your friends told you, if you don't do it this way, you will follow what you trust and who you trust. And do you know why it's like that? Most of the time we think results are equal to truth. Not all results are founded on the truth. We often think if it has worked for this person, ah, I should trust it to work for me too. But what some of you also don't understand is that you see, if you are important in God's program, the nonsense things that work for others will never work for you. Because God knows that if it allows you to work for you, you will miss it. Because the moment you follow the wrong path and it produces good results, you will keep. Have you not heard the word says you don't change a winning team? Football enthusiasts. So you don't change a winning team. If it has worked before, use it again. So God knows that if He allows what is wrong to work for you, it will lose you. That's why the Bible says God resists the proud. Every time you are trying to use what is not from him, he considers you proud. He will resist you. So that when you when you get frustrated, you come back to him. So if you are going to build with the wisdom of Christ or the principle of Christ, you need the mind of Christ. You need what? The mind of Christ. You need the mind of Christ. What does that imply? It means you need the understanding of Christ. To have the mind of Christ is to have his understanding. Let me use another sentence. It implies, it means that you see things and people from God's perspective or from Christ's perspective. You see your situation, you see things happening around you, you see people around you from Christ's perspective. Not from the natural perspective. See, I've told you, whatsoever is from God to you will need you to build it. Because that's God's system. That's God's system. Otherwise, the day you got born again, everything about you should have been very perfect. He still needs to build you and build me. That's why I say I'll give you a pastor after my heart. Who will feed you with what? Knowledge and understanding. So that you can be built up. As believers, one of our greatest errors is assuming that if this is a gift from God, if it's a blessing from God, it must be perfect. I've told you in this church, most of the people that God has used to be a huge blessing to me personally are people that have hurt me one way or the other. Listen, may you not throw away God's assets for your life? Some men are blessed with treasures in the form of a woman, a wife. But they can't see it. All they see is one useless, talkative, troublesome woman. Not understanding that you are in grace to build her up. And when you are done, her life will add so much value to you that whatever you are doing, you enjoy speed. Vice versa. So women are blessed with angels in woman form. But they keep comparing him with social media husbands. And all your mates. This is how much they give to their wife. I'm just managing you. I'm just child. Only me, only me, in this house. Now me they pay this, now I mean they pay that. Why don't you thank God that God put you in the position to pay? If you don't get to pay. And the man no gets. And nobody go die. Am I talking to somebody? That God put it in your hands to pay. It's to tell you that something is cooking in the lives of that man. Your own is to help him to actualize his dream. Am I talking to somebody? So, whatsoever God gives you will need to be built up. There is no perfect gift. Even though, spiritually speaking, it will be perfect. But naturally, it won't look perfect. Am I talking to somebody here? This is part of the issues we have as believers all over the world. God will say, I gave you the best, but you mismanage it. Because you can't see through my eyes. The Bible says, We should know no man after the flesh. The same Jesus, like I said earlier on, that all the disciples knew after the flesh, that Peter could look at him and rebuke. I didn't know that this someone, if they see him in his real glory, you can't stand, you must faint. Church, can I say something to you? Stop running after big men. Most of the time, the people God will use for you are people who are not looking like it. People who you have to invest in. People who will need information from you to move forward. Am I talking to somebody? If you don't have this understanding, because how will God be God in your life. If the way you get from him is the way men give to themselves. Listen, what God gives to you and you work with him, engaging his wisdom to build up that thing or that person. Listen, when that person of that thing is well built up, you value them because you know that this can only be God. You expect your children to just automatically behave well. If you misbehave, you curse, you beat, you shout. But the question you should ask yourself, am I building this children? Building is work. Building is work, is work. And it must begin from your own life. If you are not building your your life with the wisdom of God, with the wisdom of God, you can't build up anybody. So to have the mind of Christ is to have the knowing of Christ. You just have an understanding that this is the way it should go. Even when nobody is supporting you because they can't see what you are seeing. I told one of my sons yesterday. I said, I said, Pastor, one of the ways to command the respect of your wife is for your spirituality not to be a joke. You say, Let us do this thing. You do them, it no work. It led to embarrassment. Let us do that. You do them, it led to a problem. Let us do this one. Because you are always doing things out of calculations and sense. I said, there is no way that woman will have respect for you. I said man of God. I said, you are not a man of God because you say I am a man of God or because people witness your ordination. You are a man of God by your lifestyle. Let's read 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14 to 16. 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14 to 16. To have the mind of Christ is to have the knowing of Christ, knowing of Christ. You just know that no, this is not right. In line with the scripture. Hear this. But the natural man, people who see everything from their senses, from their mind realm, does not receive the things of the spirit of God. For they are what? Foolishness to him. Nor can he know them. He can know them. Because they are what? Spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things. Another translation says, scrutinizes all things. Check it. To see if this is the right thing to do or not. If this is the truth or not. Yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. He didn't say he himself is judged by no one. Rightly judged. That means when you are walking in the spirit, walking in the wisdom of God, people can only guess you. They can't get it right. Verse 16. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have what? The mind of Christ. We have what? The mind of Christ. We have the understanding of Christ. In the next, in the next um, in the next service, next week, we'll be looking at how to develop the mind of Christ in us so that we can build like Christ. But let's quickly look at some examples. We'll look at one example of one person who the scripture recognized as a man after God's heart. Let's look at David's example. Listen, listen. You know one of the things I tell myself every day. I said, when I stand before the judgment seat of Christ, those that Christ didn't die for under the Old Testament should not be better than me. That is, you know, the Bible says in the book of Acts that David fulfilled, accomplished the will of God for his life, irrespective of all this problem. And he slept. So if somebody that Jesus didn't die for, if somebody that didn't have the Bible to read from, except the Torah, the law, yet he walked in the revelation. David was a prophet, too. He saw the revelation of Christ. He lived by it. David didn't live according to the law. Let me give you an example. Everything he did, his lifestyle. Yes, at the time his humanity caught up with him. But apart from that, most of the time he lived with the mind of God. He lived, everything he did was from God's perspective. Let's look at two examples. There are many, but I just narrowed them down to two. 1 Samuel chapter 17. You see what distinguished David from Saul and the rest of the army of Israel when they were confronted with Goliath. See, in the day of trouble, that's when you know which mind is at work in you. In the day of trouble, in the in the in the in the day of temptations, that's when you know which mind, which understanding are you living by. Because you have been, see, God doesn't. He said he will not strive with men anymore. Since you are you like helping yourself, he wait for you till when you come back to him. It's our pride. What people think about us, what they feel about us, what they are saying about us, so we want to help ourselves. And we we believe the saying of the world. That they claim that the God they said, even the Bible says, heaven help those who help themselves. Show me where it is in the Bible, it's not there. But people who don't read the Bible, who are believers, we also say, Heaven help those who help themselves. If you can help yourself, you don't need God's help. Quickly. Now let's read something. David and David left his supplies in the hand of the supply keeper, ran to the army, and came and greeted his brothers. Then, as he talked with them, there was the champion, the Philistine of Garth, Goliath by name, coming up from the armies of the Philistines, and he spoke according to the same words, boasting. What was his boasting about? He said, You produce a man from yourself. I have come to represent the army of the nation of Philistine. You bring one person, I am representing Philistine. So me and that person will fight. Whosoever wins, the person's nation will rule over the other nation. That if you if your man defeats me, then we will become your servant, the whole of Philistine. But if I defeat your man, do you know what? They have calculated, they have checked well, they have seen that there was nobody. Listen, can I announce to somebody? Those who have risen you in the flesh, who have checked you, who think that you are you can't do more than a dead rat. Very soon, in the name of Jesus, the Lord your God will show up in you and through you, and you'll be shocked for your faith. If you believe it, receive it now in the name of Jesus. Go back to where we are reading. So and he spoke to the same words, you know, before David came, because the father sent him to come and give snacks and food to his brothers at the battlefield. Every time Goliath will come and brag and scream, they will shake. So Goliath was enjoying it. Everybody was afraid because they saw a trouble in Goliath. Trouble that could not be surmounted, trouble that could not be conquered. Hey, if you are here this night or you are watching online, whatever has been facing you that looks like trouble that you cannot overcome. After this service, the Lord will open your eyes to see from God's perspective concerning that issue in the name of Jesus. So David had them had the word, the same word that Saul and all the all the armies of Israel had been hearing. Verse 24. And all the men of Israel again, when they saw the man, did what? Fled from him and were they were not just afraid, they were dreadfully, you know when you are dreadfully afraid, your body gonna shake because of fear. Verse 25. So the men of Israel said, Have you seen this man who has come up? Surely he has come up to defy Israel, and it shall be that the man who killed him, the king will enrich with great riches. We give him his daughter and give his father's house, and give his father's house exemption from taxes in Israel. Why you know stand up? Well, you know, there are benefits. Here David, the man who saw from God's perspective, then David spoke to the man who stood by him, saying, What shall be done for the man who kills these Philistines and takes away the reproach from Israel? Look at the next statement. For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God? Now, now listen. Listen, listen. Saul and the rest of the army saw a champion. In fact, the champion. Because when they took David to Saul, that David said he was ready to confront. Do you know what Saul told David? He said, You are a youth. You'll be small picking. He said, That man has been a champion, a warrior from his youth. In other words, you are not qualified to face him. Saul was the anointed of the Lord as a king, but was blind. May you not be blind. It's not enough to be a pastor, it's not enough to be a bishop. It's not enough to be, you need revelation. Revelation of Christ is what distinguishes you. Listen, church. Listen, church, listen carefully, please. This is why you need the mind of Christ. What will make you are what looks like troubles. Are you hearing this? When God wants to promote you, we allow you to face Goliath. But if you are afraid of Goliath, you miss God's opportunity. See, many of us have been, oh Lord, change my story, lift up my head, bless my work. And when your answer came, you didn't recognize it as answer. Because it looks like a problem. We have allowed the world to condition us. We relate with God as if God be juju. We want something from God. We expect him to be the one to build our family for us. To bring money, to bring this, to bring that. But you know how God sees us? God sees us as the one he has made in his image and likeness. Who should work with him to make things happen? Do you understand? So when you ask God for something, he gives you revelation. If you despise revelation from God's word, you are despising your own miracle. That's why it looks as if God doesn't answer prayer again. He answers prayers. He answers, my God answers prayers. Look at how the might of God function in David. Where others saw troubles in Goliath, he saw opportunity. He said, Who is this uncircumcised Philistine? Do you know what that means? Do you know what that means? Circumcision in those days was the proof of their being in right standing with God. That means every children of Israel, because they were circumcised, they will be in right standing with God, and as a result, God will defend them, will be their covering and their shield. So as Goliath began to talk and boast, he said, I can't see any protection over this. He's just big for nothing. Forget how big he is, forget how well armed he is. He had no covenant covering, no covenant protection. He has nothing with which to fight me. But for me, I have come in the name of the Lord. The Lord of the army of Israel, whom you have defiled. That's why, when he had the opportunity to face Goliath, when Saul approved it, he said, This day, the Lord will give you into my hand. And I will give your head to the birds of the air. He was not even holding sword. But he knew that his confidence was beyond any arm or ammunition. His confidence is in the Lord. Saul and the rest of the armies of Israel saw Goliath through human lenses. David saw him through God's lens. Saul and the rest of the army saw Goliath as the champion that no one can confront. David saw him as a mere man that has no covenant protection. And he knows that the only reason why he won't be able to bring him down is if he has a covenant protection. Am I talking to somebody? If God is not on the side of what is confronting you, why are you afraid? Why are you afraid? Is God supporting the sickness in your body? Is God supporting those witches and wizards from your village? If God be for me, who can be against me? See, when you have this understanding, your mind will shift. You will see things from God's perspective, not from your experience, not from the experience of others. That something happens to somebody doesn't mean it will happen to you. This thing happened to Ram, me, ordinary me. That shows how how shallow you are in your understanding. Sorry if I'm hard on you. Let me give you another example in another way. David. 1 Samuel 24, verse 1 to 7. Before we round up. 1 Samuel chapter 24, verse 1 to 7. Now it happened when Saul had returned. Now get this. After David killed Goliath, the woman created problem for him. And you know, Saul had no sense of security. See, not everybody, when you begin to succeed, not everybody can manage your success. There are people in the church who will never be happy that their pastor is dressing well. Oh, you don't know. He don't chop church money, finish. Because as far as they are concerned, they are spin-out brain. Sorry. He tells them the only way he can make money is to chop church account church money. Because they are too natural to know that God can pay his servants. God pays. And he pays better. He pays better. Even among your own family. Not everybody will be okay. Do you know that people like you more? Can I people when you depend on them? You always come in. We're not eating. I get plenty of money. Just manage this to 2K. And when you leave, say, Yeah, wala two more. They're not go kill person. And they can call you. Hey, you go to sousal place for me. You go to sousal place for me. They know the day you begin to manifest. They can't send you on useless errands anymore. They will be offended. Any listen you say now in done they make it too money. In don't they carry shoulder? For no reason, no. You need to hear what I experienced from some of my former friends. When you don't get anything, they're all his friends. Now God only bless him. They will tell you things about yourself that you don't know about yourself. Have you? There are things you will hear about you, you say, really? Now maybe it is. That's why at times. Breakthrough, breakthrough, breakthrough. Are you ready for what breakthrough will bring to you? Real breakthrough will come with envy. Because if you are breaking through and people are not envying you, what you your breakthrough is tartaceous. A small one. When you have real breakthrough and you find yourself in a position that people never imagine in their hearts that you can be, get ready for persecution. They will attack you. Today there are some people though, they are your friends. Tomorrow, go by Land Cruiser. Say nursing. Say now here we sit down, they joke, they talk now. Then the men of David said to him, Hear the difference between someone that operates with the mind of God and somebody who is carnal in their thinking. The men of David said to him, This is the day of which the Lord said to you, they spiritualize their canality. I can't see where they got this scripture from. Manufactured their scripture. And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul's robe. Saul was tired. He just returned from a battle, and they told him that David and his men were dead. He was desperate about killing David. Hear me. If God has not put you into anybody's hand, they can't take your life. Stop fighting in the flesh. Now it happened afterwards. Now look at the man whose heart is in alignment with God. Whose heart is in agreement with God's counsel. Afterward, that David just he caught not the flesh of Saul. Saul was sleeping, tired, and he tiptoe there. His man has left him there. He caught just a piece of his garments. After he did that, David's heart troubled him because he had caught Saul's robe. Some of us will do evil. We talk evil against people and our conscience, not a prick us. You know you are lying. What you are talking about that person, you have no evidence. Yet you will say it with your full chest. And you are not pricked. It is the mind with which you are operating. If you are operating with the mind of Christ, I'm telling you, when you do what is wrong, your conscience will prick you. And hear me, I've told you this over and over. Many of the challenges in our life today are not devil-made, they are the harvest of the seed we sow yesterday. Many. Now it happened afterward that David's heart troubled him because he had caught Saul's rope. Verse 6. Verse 6. And he said to listen carefully. And he said to his men, the Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord's anointed, to stretch out my hand against him. Seeing is what? He is the anointed of the Lord. Verse 7. So David restrained his servants with these words and did not allow them to rise against Saul. And Saul got up from the cave and went on his way. He didn't know death just passed over him. Listen, church. Listen, church. David knew he was anointed to replace Saul. But he knew that he was not going to do it by his might. That is a man that had the mind of God walking. That had an understanding of spiritual things. That was a man that did not calculate things in the natural to fulfill God's vision. He knew that it was the will of God for him to become the king of Israel. But he knew that the same God who gave him the vision has the capacity to put him there without his own human effort. Please, church. Be careful. Be what? Be careful. Ordinary that he cuts a piece of salt cloth, his conscience troubled him. Some of us need to cry unto God to help our heart. Because we do what is evil. Yet we are not feeling anything. We justify it. We'll explain it away. Like the servants of followers of David, we quote scriptures. We twist scripture, we turn scripture upside down to satisfy our evil desires. You can't build your family that way. I've told you, please, church, church. I'm speaking to every parent by the Spirit of the Lord. If you have issues with people, don't drag your children into it. You have issues with your family members. Except you know that their presence, the presence of that person around them could endanger their lives. Am I talking to somebody? Now you have something with somebody, and every time you sit down, you poison the heart of your children concerning that person. What you don't understand is that children don't forget. When after you have settled with the person, your children is still seeing the person as evil, the same way you have painted the person. And what you don't know is this you might be separating them from who will help them tomorrow. The ways of God are past finding. God is not man. God is not what? Man. At times the people you think will never be useful to you, they are the ones that God will program to be a blessing to your life tomorrow. May you not miss your help. David operated from God's perspective. He operated with the mind of Christ. What is the mind of Christ concerning such situation? Matthew 5, verse 43 to 46. Matthew 5, verse 43 to 46. Quickly. You have had it. This Jesus talking. You have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. See, this one is very easy. Anybody can do that. You can love your neighbor and hate your enemy. It's easy. Is it not? You don't need special training to love those who love you and hate those who don't like you. Verse 44. But I said to you, do what?

Does it make sense? Is it easy? Is it easy to do? No. That means it's far beyond your flesh. That is a high life. That not everybody can live it. Go back. Don't remove it again. I said to you, love your enemies. Bless those who touch you. Do good to those who hate you. Ah, it's getting more interesting. How can that be? And pray for those who spitefully use you and what? And persecute you. This is the ideal Christian life that the church is missing today. We have been programmed to always seek vengeance. Do me, I do you. God, no divis. Imagine. And this is what deprives us of building according to God's pattern. If you are not building from this heart, you are not building anything. Your husband offends you. You want to pay them back in their own coin. Your wife offends you. You want to pay them back in their own coin. Your children offend you. You want to pay them back in their own coin. Your parents offend them, offend you. You want to pay them back in their own coin. Your friend offends you. You want to pay. He said, You must do your own. You know, there is a tribe in the West. They have a saying that 20 years old pounded yam, still the hurt. No, no, they they count it as their own lifestyle. And they even brag about it. That means anything you do to them, if they are not paid you back, if it is 20 years, they still remember. And they see the hurt. Anytime they see you and they have the opportunity, they will come for you. And they brag about it. It is evil. It is what? Evil. The next verse, verse 45. He said that you may be what? Hey, hey. Is there somebody in this church tonight? We are many here. That you may be sons of your father in heaven. For he makes his son rise on the evil and on the good. And sends rain on the just and on the just. Boko Aram, Iswa people, the bandits that are killing people. God give them rain. He didn't say, as you are in this forest, you know go rain for you in this forest. You know go get water. See, give them rain. Verse 46. We stop at verse 46. For if you love, listen to this. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same. You see, in the days of Jesus, the tax collectors were considered the most wicked set of human beings. Very mean. If you are looking for a devil in those days, look for tax collectors. Only days? Very wicked set of human beings. But Jesus said, go back to that verse. If you love those who love you, what reward have you? Even tax collectors, as wicked as they are, they love those who love them. You are not different. See what the mind of Christ can do in you. It will shift your focus from yourself to Jesus. Life will not be about you, but about what he wants for you. Do you know that when you operate by his principles, that is what makes his power and his wisdom available to you. We are praying for God's power. We are, oh Lord, fill me with your wisdom. But the foundational thing, we despise it. Because their failure will make you happy. You'll be on the same level. Don't you know that in this kingdom our lifting is in helping others to rise? Said, I will bless you so that you can become what? A blessing. If you are not a blessing, you are useless. If I asked you tonight in the last one month, have you been a blessing to anybody? For your information, blessing is not just about material things. Are you a source of encouragement to someone? There is a reason why that person cried in your presence. Instead of pacifying them, you ignite hatred in their heart. Because the person that made them cry, your focus is on that person. Instead of focusing on how to help this person, it is a state of mind. It's a state of mind. Church. Somebody who knew that he was anointed to be king over Israel. Yet he has to run away. At a time, he had to lie, act like a madman to survive. When he found himself in the camp of the enemy, the people he has fought on behalf of Israel. And he felt that these people will just kill him. He started dropping saliva in his mouth. And started talking as if he was talking off key. They brought him before the king. The king said, This will know where now. I bet take him away. He knew he was anointed. It does not remove anything from me I can act again it doesn't make me less than who God has made me to be my confidence is not found in anything in the flesh Philippians 3 3 says we are the circumcision that worship God in the spirit we have no confidence in the flesh we have no confidence in the flesh we have no confidence in the flesh the things of the flesh that people derive their confidence from it means nothing. We are counted them as lost for the sake of Christ I can drive this more can I not feel my teacher with room somebody that I'm a man you look always serious.
