Transformation is important if fulfilling the will of God for your life matters to you. The extent to which Christ is formed in your heart is the extent to which you will fulfill God's purpose for our life. The more Christ is formed in your heart, the more active the mind of Christ becomes in you.

We are going to continue from where we stopped last Sunday. We have been on the series, The Power of a Transformed Heart. The Power of a Transformed Heart. And our subtopic today.

That means every new generation has higher IQ and intellect than the older one until he came to Gen Zitong. He said from the 1990s to now IQ and intellect has diminished. That this generation lacks the ability to focus. The person giving the lecture is not a Christian. But he says something that he is concerned for the future generation. He said, because the coming in of AI will further compound the problem. We now raise children who lack the capacity to think deep. They are too shallow in their thoughts. Anything that enters their mind will always seem good to them. They run with frivolous things. Things that has no capacity of making any meaningful impact in their lives.

And that's why every parent has to wake up. In that lecture, they said the only nation doing well in time of parenting is China.

They are the only nation that make provision for trade. They showed the video of three, four-year, three years old, four years old children eating by themselves, washing their own plates and cooking by themselves. They made little stove for them. To enable them cook by themselves. And they expose them more to puzzles. You see, you know these puzzles, it requires critical thinking. The puzzles enable them to think so that they can become a problem solver. Can't you see this generation that when they see problem, they run? They are not stable. And you know the problem is because we parents have overpampered them in such a way that they no longer understand that solving problem is a virtue. And it's a thing of the heart. That's why we need to have a clear understanding of why it is important for you and I to have a transformed heart. Let me tell you something. If every Sunday I stand here to call our names, as there's somebody, your name is uh you are from one village in Nogun State.

You know, when I listened to that lecture, I said it is not just the Gen Z have lost their ability to give attention to what matters, even the parents. Frivolities matters to us more than substance. What we often don't understand is this if you fail to get it right, it will tell in the long run. While sharing with us on the realities of internal struggles last Sunday, there are a lot of things you know that is right in your mind, but you can't do it. Because your heart has not been programmed to operate in that frequency. And that's why we need to pay attention this morning because as children of God, my prayer is that we begin to value what God has done for us in Christ. I've said it over and over. If somebody has 10 million naira now, but it's going to do you somehow, you'll be full of excitement. And you want everybody to respect you now, now, now, now, because you have arrived. But you carry in you the spirit of the living God. The same spirit by which the heavens and the earth were created. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead. You see, we are too sensual, we are too, we are too carnal in our mindset that we are we are no longer valuing things that really matters. My prayer this morning is that the Lord will give somebody an understanding heart. The importance of a transformed heart, part A, next Sunday we'll go into the part B of it. Listen, without a transformed heart, no believer can fulfill God's purpose for their lives. Without a transformed heart. See, don't just reduce your life to material things. You think when you have money, you build house, you buy cars, you are doing well. That's the same thing the world calls doing well. If your lifestyle is not different from that of the world, then your Christianity is useless. Sincerely, any child of God that is not prepared to live a purposeful life as ordained by God, you better go and stay in the world and do what they do there. And know that that's your choice. For every child of God, God has a plan for you. He's not a careless or useless father that just dumped us into the world and say, live as you like. Every one of us has a purpose. And that's why God gave to believers, gave to his church pastors. Hear me, pastors are gift. I mean, I'm not talking about just any pastors, pastors that values God's word and are always willing to teach God's word, not for personal gain, but to raise the people of God into the fullness of what God wants them to be. That's what the principal assignment of every genuine man of God is to enable transformation, to drive transformations in the lives of believers. Anything you hear that does not lead to your transformation is a useless word, is a waste. Listen, stop looking for who will give you miracles. You are a mobile power bank if you understand what God has deposited in you. The error of somebody telling you before you go to toilet, he inform me, he's gone.

In the book of Jeremiah, chapter three, verse 15. The scripture says, I will give you pastors. In in King James Version, it's the same thing. Shepherds and pastors are the same. He said, and I will give you pastors according to what my heart, according to God's heart, we shall feed you with what? Knowledge and understanding. Who will feed you with knowledge and understanding? What's the purpose of that? Why must you be fed with knowledge and understanding? Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11 to 14. Let's establish that first. And again, some apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some pastors and what teachers. For what purpose? For the perfecting of the saints. Who are the saints? You and I. You are saints, yet you need to be perfected. That word perfect, perfecting means to mature, to grow up, to cease, to live a tartartious life. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry. So every child of God is in ministry. You are meant to be a minister. For the edifying of the body of Christ, ask yourself. The way you live your life, are you building up the body? That's what shows whether you are mature or not. Till we all come in the unity of what? Of the faith and of the knowledge of who? Of the Son of God, unto a perfect man or a matured man, unto the measure. This is our principal assignment. Unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. So the work of the pastor is to fit you with knowledge and understanding. So that you can grow in the knowledge of the Son of God and come to the fullness and come to the stature of the fullness of Christ. Do you know what is in God's heart? He wants to see many Christs function on earth. Apostle Paul further confirmed that. He showed us that that's where the real work is for a pastor. In Galatians chapter 4, verse 19. Galatians 4, 19. I'm trying to first establish for us. That the principal assignment of the pastor is to bring us into the stature of the fullness of Christ. And that is what we call transformation. My little children, for whom I labor in birth again, until Christ is what? Formed in you. Until Christ is formed in you. Just imagine that every one of us seated here. Think like Christ. Talk like Christ. See things like Christ. Are we ever going to have crisis in our midst? No. Imagine a husband, a wife, in their home, think like Christ, talk like Christ, they see things like Christ. Will that family have crisis? No. Carnality is our greatest problem. You know, I told I told a pastor recently, I said, one of the challenges I see in the body of Christ today is trying to teach principles of how to do things in this kingdom to someone with a kind of mind. A kind of heart. Somebody whose heart is governed by the flesh. You are now teaching him to do this, to do this. The first thing is not to teach them to do, is to become. Say, let me just go and walk in the site. People will think you are lazy. Because the ability to function well in such an environment will not be there. You walk somewhere, you say my waist to. And you're a young man. So the older one will be asking, What is the problem? Many of my ministry son has asked me, say, Daddy, why? How do you do it that you don't sleep?

If you know the weight of responsibility on your shoulder, you won't sleep anyhow. If you understand how many people's lives depend on you, you won't be at the mercy of your bed. It's only those who are not clear about where they are going that sleep all their life. Because nothing is driving them. Vision is not a thing of the mind, it's a thing of the heart. If your vision is not from your heart, it can't move you. So what are we saying? Transformation is important. If fulfilling the will of God for your life matters to you, transformation is important. Feeling God's perfect plan for your life matters to you. If your life is not just about God give me money, God give me children, God give me this, God give me that. If it's not just about taking from God, transformation should be important to you. You know the beauty of transformation. As God transforms you and you become more like Christ, you receive more from God than those who are just running up and down. Listen to this truth. The extent to which Christ is formed in your heart is the extent to which you will fulfill God's purpose for your life. Shall I say that again? The extent to which Christ is formed in your heart is the extent to which you will fulfill God's purpose for your life. Understand this church. You can't fulfill the plans and purpose of God for your life without his power and his wisdom. God's purpose are not designed in the flesh. So it cannot be fulfilled by the flesh. So the extent to which Christ is formed in your heart is the extent to which you will fulfill God's purpose for your life. Now, the more Christ is formed in your heart, let's extend it forward. The more Christ is formed in your heart, the more the mind of Christ becomes active in you. First Corinthians chapter 2, verse 16 says, You have the mind of Christ. You have what? Let's quickly read that passage. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have, we have what? The mind of Christ. So if you have the mind of Christ, you can't fail. Listen, if you understand what we are talking about, you will know there is nothing called setback for a child of God. Every setback is an opportunity to come back in a bigger way. Do you know what Jesus said? He said, Very soon you all leave me. He said, But I'm not alone. The Father is with me. He knew that when the even his disciples will leave him, it will be a temporary thing. As we go into this study, you will see what the power of God can do in a man's life. A man who is transformed, whose life is structured, modeled after Christ. Listen, your peace of mind is in your transformation. Your what? If you are not getting transformed, if you say you have peace of mind, you lie, you are pretending. Because you can't operate in the flesh and have peace of mind. Flesh. Do you know what the apostle Paul said? He said, In me, that is in my flesh, there is no good thing. So if you are operating with what has no good thing, where are you going to get the peace from? Where are you going to get the joy from? Watch, watch comedy till tomorrow. You can never be joyful. You can only be happy for a while if somebody does something good for you. The moment the euphoria of the happiness passes away, you return to status quo. Your peace of mind, your joy is in your transformation. Because you can't live like Christ and have any moment of regret. Because you see things from his perspective. What others see as a problem in your life is no problem to you. In John chapter 12, Jesus says, Let's read it. John 12, let's start from verse 20. Let's start from verse 20. It's not part of my now. There were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. Gone. Then they came to Philip, who was from, who was from Besida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we wish to see Jesus. This is one of the reasons Peter said, You are not going to die. Philip came and told Andrew. And in turn, Andrew and Philip told Jesus. But Jesus, now this is where I'm going. But Jesus answered them saying, The hour has come. That the Son of Man should be what? The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. What did what was glorification to Jesus? Look at the next verse. Most actually, I said to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. This is the mind of Christ talking. But if it dies, it produces so dying is not a setback. It's an opportunity to come back in a glorious way. I have a good news for someone here. Everyone who thinks your life is behind, very soon they are in for a surprise. The Lord will lift you up in their presence, and there is nothing anybody can do about it. In the name of Jesus. But if it dies, it produces what? Much grain. If it dies. So when there is a setback, what do you see? Your karma, we say, I'm finished. That's your natural mind. That's the state of a caramel man. A kana man will accept the opinion of people about themselves. You lost your job, and so he has lost his job. Nothing is working again. No, no, no, no, no. You are about to become a CEO. If you can operate with the mind of Christ, see, when God is at work in your life, there is nothing that happens that will not be for your good. Even when you can't, your natural mind can't understand it. But we know, we know how many things all things work together for good. For them that love God. Can't you see what happened with Apostle Paul? A messenger of Satan was given to him to buffet him. He said, three times he asked the Lord to take it away. The Lord said, Oh boy, if you don't have that messenger of Satan, you will become too bugacious that you will miss my plan for you. So because of the abundance of the revelation that I'm going to give you, that I'm giving to you, if you don't have something to check you, you will miss it. Use yourself to check. When things begin to work for you, suddenly certain people can't talk to you again. The same people that used to correct you, they can't correct you again. Because you have become a big guy. And the worst place to be for anyone is not to have somebody who can look you and say, You are wrong. Stop that. You are lost if you don't have such a person in your life. I used to be very stupid. You know, in those days when I nearly got married to Mama Den. I said, Look at me very well. You there is nobody you can report me to. I'm a man of my own. I didn't know I was demonstrating, exhibiting my stupidity and ignorance. I'm a man of myself. Hey, you are a gunner. Yoruba says the dog that will get lost, know they listen to the whistle of the hunter. No matter how great you become, you are meant to always have somebody over you that will tell you this is not right. That is not right. Whatsoever you know is part. You don't know in full. You must be accountable to somebody. That's why many of us miss it. You are happy when they tell you what you want to hear. But the moment they say no, that's not right. What is he saying? I'm a master's degree holder. I am this, I am this. You know what Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3. He said, all those things that people brag themselves about. He said, I count them as loss. They are nothing, they can't make me, they can't lead me to the fulfillment of God's perfect plan for my life. So, your pastor's principal assignment is to feed you with knowledge and understanding so that Christ can be formed in you, and when Christ, as Christ is being formed in you, the mind of Christ will be activated in you so that you see more like Christ, you think more like Christ, you interpret everything around your life according to Christ. You know, the challenging thing is that many of us will rather interpret our situations according to household enemies, according to witches and wizards. We believe more in the ability of the devil and his agent to destroy us than in the ability of God to preserve and protect us. What are you saying? So when the mind of Christ becomes active in you, what happens? The power and the wisdom of God begin to find expression in your life. How you deal with people. Is it according to God's wisdom? How you handle the issues of life? Is it by the power of God? Or according to human knowledge and wisdom? 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 24. 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 24. Both to those who are called, but to those, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the what? The power of God and the wisdom of God. Hear me. If Christ is the power of God, if Christ is the wisdom of God, and Christ is formed in you, it simply means power, wisdom is formed in your heart, not just in your spirit. That is what makes the mind of Christ to be active. Until Christ is active in your heart, his mind cannot be activated in your life. When you got born again, Christ entered into your heart. The spirit of Christ entered into your spirit. Sorry. Your spirit was recreated, not perhaps. Your spirit was what? Recreated to become exactly like Christ. And not just recreated. Christ, the spirit of Christ, now stand in union with your spirit. But there is a need for a flow, the flow of what is available in your spirit, it has to pass through your heart to your mind and manifest in your physical life. So if your heart is not transformed, everything God has given to you in Christ will be shut up in your spirit. And you'll be living as if you have nothing. According to His divine power has given to us, how many things? All things that pertain to life and godliness. All things that pertains to life and godliness that were given to us are in our spirit, man. But it must flow through our hearts. When we get to that point on how to embrace the process, or when we're understanding the process of transformation, we learn that further. So Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God. So the more Christ is formed in your heart, the more the mind of Christ is active in you. And the more the mind of Christ is active in you, the more the power and the wisdom of God flows through you for the fulfillment of God's plan for your life. Don't forget, I said it earlier, that God's plan can only be fulfilled by engaging the power of God and the wisdom of God. God's plan cannot be fulfilled by your canum mind. It cannot be fulfilled through human effort. So as a child of God, when you live by human effort and you are expecting to fulfill God's plan, you weary yourself out. You experience burnout, you destroy your health. You can even destroy your family. Because if you are not paying attention to what you should pay attention to, your family, your health, at the end of the day, you find out that what you are pursuing still did not materialize. God forbid. Now, let's talk about the power of God. If you want to see the power of God flow through you for the fulfillment of God's plan, you need transformation of your heart. You need what the transformation of your heart. Because the content of your heart is what controls your life. Who you are in your heart is what determines your lifestyle. Remember that Proverbs 4.23. Let's read it again before we continue. Let's read it from two or three different translations. Proverbs 4.23. Keep your heart with what? Are you here, somebody? Keep your heart with what? All diligence. All diligence. If you have to keep your heart with all diligence, that means your heart is important to your life. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring what? The issues of life. Let's read from uh another translation. Give me another translation. Keep vigilant watch over your heart. That's where life starts. That's where life starts. Uh-huh. One more. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Guard your heart above all else. Listen, church. Listen. The day your heart accepts it as a reality that Christ has borne all your diseases and all your sickness. And by his stripes, you are healed. That is the day your body becomes free from sickness. Many of us, oh I am healed. I am healed. You are just speaking from your mind. That's why you are afraid when you see diagnosis. When doctors tell you something. I shared this testimony with us before. August 23, 2024. The day I turned 60. I woke up early in the morning to use the toilets. As I sat on the toilet, I thought I it was excret I was bringing out. This thing just looks watery. I said, uh, what did I eat yesterday? That my only for me to finish, I got up. It was blood inside the toilet. I mean, pure red blood. No single excreta in it. Splash blood all over the I froze. I was just looking at it. My brother from Lagos, my twin, Pastor Vitalis, was with me. He refused to stay in the hotel. He said he would stay with me. I was uh a bachelor then, so he stayed. With me in my room. I just stared, I was just staring at it. Ah, that volume of blood to come out of somebody's body is not a joke. So I was just staring at it and I had clearly in my heart, do you believe this is real? I said, Lord, it's not real. Say, if it's not real, why are you looking at it?

I flushed it. I left. I entered the bedroom. I raised another topic with my brother. We talked. We laughed till we came to church. It never came out of my mouth, say I pull blood through. I even forgot. Because my heart will not accept it as a problem. There was no wonder in my mind. The normally will have gone to Google what will make a man to pull blood. And Google for show me shege. What will put fear? The following day, on the 24th, we had service here in the morning. I went to the toilet. As I got up, I was not even thinking of whether I saw it was normal escrita. Not a drop problem. I left it. After about two or three weeks, I went for screening. Screened my entire system. And the result came out everything in you is okay, perfect. There is no till then forever. Do you know that that's how Satan sells markets to us? If your mind is waiting be this so, waiting be that too, waiting be that to, and you are afraid. Listen, fear is an entry point of the enemy into our life. You know, forgive me for what I'm going to say. One of the reasons we pray for many of us and nothing is happening, we have already accepted the condition. And she was in the hospital. Okay. I said, let me pray for you. As I said, in the name of Jesus, in the mighty name of Jesus. He he said, the thing is still doing me like this. I've not even finished praying. So I said, then let me stop prayer. I said, whenever you are ready, you let me know. Because my prayer at that moment meant nothing to her. She was too conscious of the problem that she was not even open to the prayer. That's what the devil wants. That's why, as a child of God, there is need for you to labor in the word for the transformation of your heart. So that when the enemy will come like a flood, the spirit of the Lord in you will lift up a standard against him. It is the spirit of God working in your heart, not in your spirit, that will lift up the standard. That's why Christ must be formed in your heart. Christ must be formed. So I said, the more the mind of Christ is active in you, the more the power and the wisdom of God flows through you for the fulfillment of God's plan for your life. That's something that has been coming into my heart. Concerning some people here. It seems you are late. This word is not for everybody, it's just for some people. It seems your life is slow. It seems your mate has gone ahead of you. But I've come to announce to you in the name of Jesus by the Spirit of Christ. That it doesn't matter who is ahead you because of the uniqueness of your calling and your assignments, in the name of Jesus, you will fulfill all of God's perfect plan for your life. And you will live long to see the fulfillment of the plans of God for your life. The God of Abraham has not changed. He promised Abraham at 75. The miracle of Isaac did not happen until 100. He gave birth to Isaac at the age of 100. And he was still alive to see Isaac get married and have children. You will see your children's children. This principle is what they use in the flesh. When we in our future teachings, maybe next week or upper week, I will show you certain things. The word often borrow our principles, but they will never credit our God with it. They borrow our principles. That has always been the devil's strategy. No, he was once an anointed hero. And he can read the words too. He quoted Bible to Jesus. So he just borrows something and twists them to satisfy himself. When the mind of Christ becomes active in you, the power of God begins to flow through you. That's why you must desire transformation, child of God. You must desire, you must work for it, you must submit yourself to it. Let God's word be your priority. Because that's the only thing that can bring transformation in your life. I transferred from CUDA to my access bank. And I had transferred 15,000 to add it to what was in the access bank, even though it will still not be enough for the offering. But I said, at least let it be that I gave everything that was available. And when I transferred access bank, instead of crediting my uh account with that, I showed it to my son precious. Crediting it with just 15,000, they credited it twice. 15, 15,000 two times. So that I had more than enough for my offering. The exact offering I needed to give. So I gave my offering. On Monday, they woke up before I could go to the go to the bank. They debited, I now had my nurse. They now said I was owing them. So I said, okay. As God provides. On Tuesday, one of my sons in Lagos. In the night, I just saw they say, send me one good sum of money. I said, Daddy, just a token of my love. I said I embrace it. I embrace it. Praise the Lord. And that thing, my mindness was erased. See, there's a way you walk with God when it's from their heart. God will always meet you there. He will always meet you there. Because it's not a sensual thing, it's a thing of your heart. Today is Sunday. I have my offering more than enough. Listen, I have a news for everyone under the sound of my voice. As the Lord lives, you will not be stranded again. God's power will begin to flow through your life when the mind of Christ is activated. And don't forget, as you get transformed, Christ is formed in your heart, and as Christ is formed, his mind becomes activated. Now, the power of God creates one, the power of God attracts to, and the power of God preserves. See, as a man, as a woman, there is nothing you are looking for outside those three things. What will meet your needs are within the purview of God's power. Is what the power of God can give you. God's power creates, God's power attracts, and God's power does what? Preserves. So when the mind of Christ is active in you, the power of God will begin to flow in your life to create in your favor for you to fulfill God's plan, to attract everything and everyone you need to fulfill the plans of God and to preserve you. And all that pertains to you. Let's look at some examples. We are just going to talk about the power and we'll round it up there today. Let's look at the creative power of God. Matthew 14, verse 15 to 21. Jesus demonstrated the creative power of God. Listen, I was telling my twin in Lagos, Reverend Vitalys, I said, the way things are going on in the world, can our Christians will suffer if they don't give themselves to God. Because the way things are going on in the world. See, you can't play the world, you can't play the game of the world the way they play it. You can't. Because it's not in your blood, it's not in your nature. No matter how much you try to do things like that, you can never match them. It takes men and women, it will take men and women of the spirit to rise above the situation in the world and excel no matter what the devil is trying to do through human beings. Matthew 14. The creative power of God was demonstrated in this passage. When it was evening, his disciples came to him saying, This is a decided place, a dry place. And the hour is already late. A decided place. That is a dry place. And the hour is late. Can you see that situation? Send the multitudes away. That's the natural mindset. That they may go into the villages and buy themselves food. But Jesus said to them, they do not need to go away. You give them something to eat. In a deserted place, in a dry place, and late at night. And they said to him, We have here only, look at the natural man, only five loaves and two fish. Listen, church, that thing you call only in your life can change your life. If you allow the mind of Christ to go into operation, some of us, what will make us, we ate it. And we are now struggling because we thought it's small. Look at the story of the wife of the prophet. That the prophet died and left debt. Some men are wonderful. He used his two sons as collateral to borrow money and died. So after he died, the creditor said, No get joy, as then they talk him in this dispensation. He came and said, I'm taking the collateral away. The wife went to the man of God. Look at my situation. Man of God said, What do you have in the house? He said, I have nothing. He said, Except one small bottle of oil. And you're not saying you have nothing. Somebody you need to wake up. You have something, no? You have something. It might be in form of a gift. It might be in form of something as a material thing in your hand that looks useless. When the mind of Christ is at work, nothing is useless. Am I talking to somebody? He said, That's I have nothing. Just a small bottle of oil. Wait till we go take that one. Do he said, go out and borrow vessels, borrow not a few, borrow plenty drums. And he went to all his neighbors. Borrow, borrow, fill the house. What should I do? He said, That's that bottle, small one, begin pour. I'm inside. That's the mind of Christ. Does it make sense? But the woman went and started pouring. Like joke. One drum filled up. He went to the next drum. It got filled up. Went to the next one. It got filled up until all the drums got filled up. When there was no empty drum to fill, the Bible said the oil stayed. It stopped flowing. And the man of God said, Now go and sell and use the money to pay off your debt. She became free from debt. If he had she has to remain in the natural realm, she will have lost her the two sons. Listen, in the name of Jesus, I proclaim it over your life, I decree it over your life. God ordered his steps to come and he said he just went for a gathering the previous day and he saw this black guy. The guy said he just rented a house and he should come and help him to park. So he followed him. He said, and the guy, black guy is also a believer from Barbados. He said, so they held their hand and pray that if there is a believer in this building, there are 39 flats. I carry myself from inside my apartment. That was when I went to because their prayer must be answered. But can I tell you something? I met that young man. And since then, since then, God changed his own life in several ways. But he has been a huge blessing to me. God arranged it. There are people God has prepared for you like that. Now let God walk in your life. Give attention to your transformation. The more Christ is formed, the more you are well positioned to receive what God has in stock for you. The young man will send me money. This January he sent me $1,500. I called him to say thank you. You know, great pick my call. I sent him a message, you know, great reply. Finally, he replied.
