Without a transformed Heart, no believer can fulfill God's purpose for their life. The transformed heart is a heart that is shaped and influenced by the mind of Christ. The real problem of the believer is ignorance. 
You need God's wisdom in building whatever you need to build. God's plan was not designed in the flesh, it was designed in the spirit. It will take a person of the spirit to walk according to what He has designed, and you need a transformed heart for this.

Every good thing you think will come speedily into your life as you think of it, it will become your reality. Hallelujah to Jesus. Please take your seat. You know, early this morning, around um around to four. I was just praying in tongues, sat down, and the picture of this brother came into my heart. I said, I have not seen him in church. I said, I always see his wife, and then Hamilton. His picture came into my mind. I said, And then this my old guy here. I'm telling you before God, the three of them, their picture. I don't know. I was like this the last time I saw him. I was like this. As I entered the service, and I saw I said, Oh, what God has for you, you won't miss it. In the name of Jesus. God bless you. Please take your seat. To me, it's a miracle. The miracle. That means God is saying something. Amen. Amen. Let's quickly go into what we have. What the Lord has for us this morning. We're going to continue from where we stopped last Sunday, the power of a transformed heart. The power of a transformed heart, part four. And we're going to continue on the subtopic we had last week. The importance of a transformed heart. The importance. See, certain things we don't there are certain things we don't place value on. We don't seek them. Because we don't know their importance in our lives. You see, your pursuits reveal your values. What you constantly pursue, what you are willing to sacrifice for, reveals your values. There are a lot of believers all over the world that doesn't know that the secret of fulfillment is in having a heart that is transformed. Listen, without a transformed heart, no believer can fulfill the purpose of God for their lives. No one. Because that is the key. That Proverbs 423 says, God, keep your heart with what? All diligence. For out of it are the issues of life. Another translation says life begins from there. So when we are talking about a transformed heart, we are talking about a heart that is fashioned or shaped by the nature of Christ. A heart that is under the influence and the control of Christ because it's like Christ. Life is good if you know how to live it. Our greatest problem as Christians is our ignorance. My people are destroyed. For what? Lack of knowledge. Not because of the presence of the devil, not because of the presence of your haters. My people are destroyed. For what? That's um Hosea 4.6. But look at Isaiah 5.13. Isaiah 5.13. Quickly. Therefore, my people have gone into where? Into captivity. Why? Are you here with me? Because they have no knowledge. Their honorable men are what? Furnished. And their multitude dried up with test. Why? They have no knowledge. The real problem is not Satan and his agents. Our real problem is our ignorance. But the challenging thing is this everybody thinks they know something. That you know doesn't mean that you know. Because if you don't know what is right, you still don't know anything. If you run your life with what is not the truth, and you think you know, you know nothing. That's why whatsoever hinders you from prioritizing knowledge has deprived you. Listen, the devil will not stop you from going to receive prophecy, he won't stop you from even praying at times. As long as he knows you are not praying with understanding. Where he knows that you will receive the knowledge that will make you free, he will do everything for you to be discouraged from being in such a place. Because he knows that when you know the truth, he has lost you. That a man is fighting the battles of life is not an issue. But it becomes an issue when he doesn't know how to come out of it. And that's why you need to pay attention. So a transformed heart is a heart that is fashioned or shaped after the nature of Christ. This is what Apostle Paul means when he talked about the pain of his labor in ensuring that Christ is formed in the heart of the believers in the Galatian church. Galatians 4.19. Galatians 4.19. My little children, for whom I labor in birth again, unto what Christ is formed in you. He said, His work of building people to him is like a woman that wants to give birth to a baby. If you have witness, talking to men now, witness a woman giving birth, you respect your wife more. That thing is not easy. The kind of pain that comes with child birth is not from this world. You know, when I was uh staying with my um my uncle who was a traditional birth attendant, also compared with his uh native doctorism. There was a day one woman was like this. Hey, hey, hey. Stop shouting now, you are embarrassing yourself. She didn't say, she went to came back, said come, come. As the man carried him out, called he wipe. She tried to deliver the second one, the man picked grace. My uncle said, Good for you. You don't know how the thing they do are you. They say she the embarrassment. Which thing concerns, which one the embarrassment? So Paul likened bringing believers to the knowledge of Christ that will bring them to a place where Christ is formed in them. It's like a woman that wants to deliver. Please, I'm not saying it because I'm a pastor. Encourage your pastor so. Am I talking to somebody? Yes, sir. To build people is not a mean job. You learn, you grow. God will teach you. And at times, teaching you will come in a very hard way. Because there are some things for you to understand what he wants you to do in the lives of the people, he will take you through it. You know, at times if you have not gone through something, you won't feel what the people are going through is. You can only assume.

That's why I tell people when you see what some people are going through, don't talk anyhow. Because if you talk, like say you know how to solve it better, that means you are telling God, test me with it. So when Christ is formed in your heart, like I told us last Sunday, the mind of Christ will become active in you. You begin to think and act like Christ. And that is a place of absolute victory. Where no devil can stop you, where no conspiracies can hinder you, where you rule your world in spite of contrary wind or contrary situation. Am I talking to somebody here? You know, the Bible says we have the mind of Christ, but that mind cannot be active until Christ is formed in you, that is, in your heart. And I also told us last Sunday, according to 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 24, that Christ is the power of God and what? The wisdom of God. But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God, and what? The wisdom of God. So as Christ is formed in you, it means you will be manifesting more of the power and the wisdom of God in your life. So the presence of Christ in your heart activates the mind of Christ, and the workings of the mind of Christ enables the power of Christ or the power of God and the wisdom of God to manifest it in our lives. Those are what you need. I told us last Sunday that when your the mind of Christ is active in you, God's power manifests. And the power of God has the capacity to create. He has a capacity to attract and capacity to preserve. Remember. See, as believers, we are not designed to be running after things. We are meant to attract things. Running after things is a symptom of ignorance that we are not aware that things should be coming to us. Pastor doesn't mean I will just hold my hand.

When you seek to do what is necessary, you do it with the mindset that everything and everyone you need will come to you. Let's look at Jesus, our Lord now. He said, If I be lifted up, he said, I withdraw all men. To me, he didn't say I will pursue all men. I withdraw all men. Somebody said, Then why do you we do evangelism? Yes, we do evangelism so that people can be aware and they can be drawn. So when you do a business, the reason for marketing is for people to know you are doing what you are doing, for them to be drawn to you. When you apply for a job, it's for the company to know that you can do this and they will be attracted to you. You are not begging for anything. Can I speak about somebody's life? From today, whatsoever you need, you will never beg for it. They will come to you in the name of Jesus. So I told us God's power attracts, and God's power preserves. It preserves. It preserves your life. It preserves your business. Listen. A thousand may form by your side. Ten thousand on your right side. It will not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you see and behold the reward of the wicked. What do you call that? Preservation. Things may happen here, may happen there, and you are like in the midst of it. But instead, you will only see it. It won't touch you. Listen, no matter the kind of evil you hear in this world, I stand before the Lord, I lift up my hands before the Lord. I decree, for you and your household, you will not partake of it. For you and your family, you will not partake of them in the name of Jesus. So when the mind of Christ is active, because your heart is transformed, power will flow. That's why you need a transformed heart. Then let's go to the second part. Because we treated the issue of the power last week. I just want to refresh our heart. When the mind of Christ is active in you, because your heart is transformed, wisdom flows. Listen, as a child of God, without the wisdom of God, you cannot lead and you cannot build anything successfully in this crooked world. You need God's wisdom to build your marriage. You need God's wisdom to build godly relationships, not manipulation. You need God's wisdom to build your business. God's wisdom in your career, in your place of work. Let me show you why. You need God's wisdom. Proverbs chapter 8. We are reading from New Living Translation for better understanding. Proverbs chapter 8. We read from verse 12 to 18. Then we jump to verse 22 to 30. I want you to see something from there. I don't just want to say it. I want you to read it and go back home and read it. So that you see the need for a transformed heart so that you can begin to enjoy God's wisdom. I wisdom live together with what? And you see that if you are able to make good judgment over matters, progress will be easy. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment. All who fear the Lord will hate what? Evil. Therefore, I, wisdom, hate pride and arrogance. So anyone who is proud is a foolish person. I Hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech. Common sense and success belongs to who? Tell me wisdom, insight, and strength. Am I? So, oh, common sense is not common after all. If it belongs to wisdom, it's not common. Because you need a transformed heart to be able to flow in the wisdom of God. Look at it. Because of me, wisdom. Kings, what? Reign. Don't forget you have been made to be kings and priests unto the Lord. So if you don't have the wisdom of God, you can reign. Because of me, kings reign. And rulers make what? Just decrease. Rulers lead with my what? With my help. And nobles make righteous judgments. I love all who love me. Those who search. Uh-huh. Verse 18. I have what? I have what? Riches and honor. As well as enduring wealth. Enduring wealth. Not wealth that can jump up. You know what that means? That can fly away. Listen. I decree over your life every good thing that God gives to you by his willed wisdom will last in your life and family. Thank you, Holy Spirit. You see, your own blessing today will not become a burden to your children tomorrow. I don't know if you understand that. Your blessing today will not become a burden to your children tomorrow. In the name of Jesus. Make that happen. Jump to verse 22 to save our time. Look at it. The Lord formed me from the beginning, from the beginning, before he created anything else. Hold on, leave it, leave it, hold on, media. Why did God have to form wisdom at the beginning? Before he started his creation, he needed the input of wisdom in what he created. So there are things you are meant to bring forth in this world. It will take wisdom. Don't settle for cheaper things. Hello? Do you know that? If you are wearing gold, now women's source pass. If you wear gold, you know there are some things that look like gold. But they are not gold. If it's not a panador, it will never be. Like me. Now if I see, I don't know the one where we look alike, I don't know the one with the. Time and whether we distinguish between the real and the and the fake. So that's why you can't envy anybody. That somebody appears to be doing well today doesn't mean they are walking by the wisdom of God. If they are not walking by the wisdom of God, they are just running ahead of their time. It's a matter of time. They come back to where. When he established spring deep in the earth, I was there when he set the limit of the seas, so they will not spread beyond their boundaries. And when he marked up the earth foundations, I was the I was what the architect at his side, I was the one designing all the work. I was his constant delight, rejoicing always in his presence. Church, listen, if you don't delight in wisdom, you are wasting your time. Your sense can't take you far. It takes the wisdom of God to design according to God's will and execute according to God's will. And you need to understand this. I've said this over and over and over. God's plan for your life was not designed in the flesh, designed in the spirit. So it will take man and the woman who allowed the mind of the spirit to walk in them. To build is such man and woman that can build according to God. And it is what you build by his wisdom that will stand the test of time. It is what you build by his wisdom that nothing can shake. Hello. So you need a transformed heart. Because if the heart is corrupt, the wisdom of God will be lacking. And if the wisdom of God is lacking, number one, you'll be full of ungodly attitudes. And you can't build anything meaningful. Listen, listen, church. Many of us believers, our greatest problem is not the devil himself directly. It's our attitudes. Many of us don't know how our attitudes are robbing us of what God wants to do in our life. If your attitudes are not compliant with God's will, God will bring opportunity, your attitude will sabotage it. I told you the story of one sister many years ago. Because she was naturally a pastor and also very nice on a good day. You understand that? Very nice on a good day. So if the day is not good. She clocked forty. Cross forty. No husband. On this particular day, I was my bishop's PA because it was in my former church. A handsome man came and requested to see my bishop. My bishop was in a meeting, and they were and the youth were having a program that day too. So I told him to wait till my bishop finished. He now said, okay, he he will go downstairs and sit in the auditorium. That I should please send somebody to call him when Bishop was okay. Listen, church. What the devil will always look for is your weak point. That's why you will always want to wait. I think it was the devil that motivated that man not to sit upstairs. That was a wide, big, air-conditioned waiting room. The man refused to sit and we'll sit downstairs. Not knowing that he just wanted to be observing the love of his life. He came to follow the instruction of their church that don't approach the lady first. Go and tell the bishop. That's what he was trying to do. Maybe if he has approached her, she will have behaved herself. Knowing that the guy was around. Sat down. After a while, she he came back. He came and said, Pastor, please, I want to rush somewhere. I said, No, be sure we soon be. He said, No, no, no, no, I want to. I pastor said, No, wait now. He said, I need to pray again. It was later. I found out that what he saw was that the youth they gave food in takeaway to this sister. And she put it on the chair. Some devil sent human being came and collected food without her knowledge. So she reacted. She scattered everywhere, shouted, cursing. So the youth leader said, And see, don't worry. We will get you. He said, Now that my own gung. I don't want another one. That man, whosoever. I pushed the man away. He's still sting. May you not miss God's plan for your life. One wrong attitude can set one back for ages. Because that's the devil's strategy. He said, I like talking my mind. I like talking my mind. You talk and talk and talk in the presence of everybody, and everybody see you as a child. And the person that even wants to, you know, some people love their privacy.

The devil will always try to capitalize on our weakness. It takes a man of wisdom, a woman of wisdom, to draw boundaries. To know when to talk and when to makeurno. To know when to act and when to sit. Am I talking to somebody?

Some years ago, I recommended someone from this church to someone for a job. So the person carried him in his car and took him out to accompany him out. Not knowing that that was the interview. As they were talking inside the car, he won't allow the man to talk. He will. So when they returned back to the office, he said, I will talk to Pastor. Pastor will get back to you. He called me. Says sir, sorry, I'm very sorry. You have not asked me for a favor before. He said, I can't employ that your boy. He said, he knows too much. And people that know too much can't be corrected.

He said, when he will raise a subject, he will. But when I called him, he came. He said, ah, that person you sent me did not even interview me. He said, but he knows that I will do well. So I just said go. I didn't know how to tell him that you have not done well. I said, go. Because I have to send him away to look at a better way to. If it's today, I have a knocking head immediately. But that time I I used to think I don't want to offend somehow. I was what? I was pastoring. Hey, I'm still pastoring, you know. But now, if you get it wrong, I will give you wrong. So that you can repent immediately. Ah. Praise the Lord. If the heart is corrupt, attitudes will be wrong. Most of us know the right thing to do, but the condition of our heart will not allow us to do it. For example, you know that you are in a place where you are not supposed to talk anyhow. But as they are talking, the thing is doing you.

Talk. Say your mind. It's a state of the heart. Am I talking to somebody? And if there is no wisdom, there will be all manner of evil. James chapter 3, verse 13 to 17. Let's quickly read it. James chapter 3. Who is wise? Listen to that carefully. Who is what? Wise and understanding among you. Let him show by good conduct. Let him show by what? Good conduct. That his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. His works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above. But is what? Earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. Verse 17, we stop there. But the wisdom that is from above is false, pure. Then what? Peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy. See, anything operating in you that makes you to malign others, only because you think you are fighting for your rights. The Bible says it's not wisdom from above. Say it's evil. It's evil. You know, at times because somebody hurts you, in order to recruit people against the person, that's why you that just here they told you something about some somebody, and you begin to judge. You don't even know the intention, the motive, or person talking to you. You are just a willing recruit. Some of them are protecting their own interest. It's your own selfish reason. You no stake. And you don't know how much the devil is using that against you to rob you, to hinder you, and to afflict you. No, I was with someone, a man of God somewhere, and he was telling me about another pastor. How terrible I just kept quiet. You know, I just told myself I need to get out of here as soon as possible. You know, if it was in the olden days, I will follow and they talk. Now so in the do you know what shocked me? Uh we are still talking. He was still talking about that person. They came to tell him that he has a visitor. It was the person he was talking against. As the person entered, greeted, and he said, I celebrate you, sir. I celebrate you, man of God, my belly. Let turn me. I say if if you ever see my leg in your office, make a pie. See, the people they are recruiting you to hate, when they see the person, they will love on them. You're on your own. That is satanic wisdom. In my mind. Listen, I don't know how to pretend though. If I don't like you, you go show. You go, what? Go show. In fact, thank God for now I'm born again. My heart is more renewed. I will tell you straight now that I don't like you. Are you going to ask me why? And I will tell you. Because I can't carry any baggage in my heart. This has no big griefs like that. If I don't like you, I will tell you. Before, I don't like you, I won't praise you. I won't talk against you. You'll just be there. That's why when they will go for some. Somebody's mother died. Now say make a preach. He said the person that will preach, she'll say good things. I said, I don't know your mother. I don't know your mother. How could I say which good thing will I say? I bet give them to another person, make him do. They talk well about my mother. I said, How? The first time I will be seeing her was in the casket. So what will I say? I said, if you don't know me, don't say anything about me. It's not important. Is somebody learning something? We are talking about wisdom that comes from God. So we have seen that God's wisdom aids God's creation. You build by his wisdom. And you develop the right attitude that will make the journey of your life easier by his wisdom. Not that you won't face challenges, but wisdom solves problems. Some of the problems we face, God knows that we are going to face them and he expects us to deploy his wisdom to deal with them. Let me give you two examples of why you and I need a transformed heart. So that the wisdom of God can begin to flow through our mind and through our heart. Let's first of all look at the example of Cain. Cain. Genesis chapter 4, verse 3 to 12. New living translation. Genesis chapter 4. Is somebody following me this morning? Are you learning? When it was time for the harvest, Cain presented some of his crops as a gift to the Lord. Abel also brought a gift. The best of the firstborn lambs. Take note of that. The best of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The Lord accepted Abel and his gift. Verse 5. But he did not accept Cain and his gift. Take note. The acceptance of the person comes first before the gift. This made Cain very angry. And he looked how? Dejected. Why are you so angry? The Lord asked Cain. Why do you look so dejected? Follow carefully. You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out. Sin is crouching at the door, eager to do what? To control you. But you must subdue it and be its master. Verse 8. One day, Cain suggested to his brother, let's go out into the fields. And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. Afterward, the Lord asked Cain, Where is your brother? Where is Abel? I don't know. Cain responded, see, see. I once stood one of my sons in ministry. I said, your sense of honor to me as your father shows me your sense of honor to God. It looks some, it sounds somehow. But see, you can't pretend to give to God what you have not given to those that God has placed over you. Because the thing of the heart. You can only pretend to be giving it to God. It won't be real. Afterward, the Lord asked Cain, Where is your brother? Where is Abel? I don't know. Cain responded, Am I my brother's guardian? You see, these are the things I think. When some people dishonor you at times, I said, Which one? Why must you verse? Somebody did it to God. See, there's nothing anybody will do to you that they have not done to God. Let's finish so that we can learn the lesson and continue. But the Lord said, What have you done? Listen, your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has swallowed your brother's blood. Verse 12, we stop there. No longer will the ground yield good crops for you, no matter how hard you work. From now on, you'll be a homeless wanderer on the earth. The heart of Cain was corrupt. Cain's heart was what? Corrupt. I'm showing you why you and I need a transformed heart. The corruption of his heart made him to be barren of God's wisdom. And the barrenness of wisdom manifested in his offering to God. Let's observe three things. Number one, lack of wisdom, which was due to the corruption of Cain's heart, make him to live a life of dishonor. He dishonored God with his offering. We are not talking about offering, no. So don't think that I want to tell you to. If you lack wisdom, you will be dishonoring God without knowing that you are dishonoring him. Many of us we deal with God anyhow and we expect the best of God in our life. Dishonor will make you to miss the best of God. Look at how you relate with people that you think human beings that can help you. But when it comes to God and the people of God, you treat them anyhow. What you don't understand is that you are walking in dishonor. It's a reflection of the state of your heart. There is need for a transformed heart. Secondly, after dishonoring God with his offering, he also dishonored God by despising his counsel. Like, see, as we are ministering to you the word of the Lord, there are some of you, the exact word that will address the issues of your heart when it comes, you react. Was it on Thursday or Friday that I was saying it? That see, it happens to everyone, including me. In the past, when I sit down in a meeting and the preacher is preaching, and he says something, something I won't even know. I'll just react. Why is he talking like that? It was later the Lord said to me, it's something deep in your heart that was reacting that needed correction. Listen, I said it, I think it was Thursday or Friday. I was using Pastor Dan. You know, let me use another one. Still same Pastor Dan. We know that he's a husband of one wife, right? And he's faithful. I can vouch for him, he's faithful to his wife. If I'm talking about those who are married, they carry women up and down, they carry side hand. And in con they get angry. Is it possible? No concern. If he's angry, he's either he's carrying side file or he's planning to do one. Do you understand? The problem with the heart is that it is not your mind. You know what is in your mind, but what is in your heart that you have accepted over time, you are not conscious of it. But that's what moves you in most of the things you do. In our next episode, next uh part five, when we round it up, I will show you the heart from the Bible and how it functions. Every time the word of God you need that will address something in your heart, there is a reaction. Please, I beg you. Anything you react to, pay attention to it. It has a solution to is that word is bringing a solution to your life. Look at verse 7 and 8 of that uh Genesis chapter 4. Look at from that's an NLT. Look at it quickly be fast, media. See, after he has messed up, he has dishonored God by his offering, God in his kindness, God in his goodness, God in his love still spoke to him to correct him. You will be accepted if you do what is right. God gave him the reason why he will not accept his offering. He said, But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out. He now said, God was telling him, don't react, don't react. I can see that there is an envy. Do you know what? Do you know what? Cain was not angry because his offering was rejected, he was angry because Abel's offering was accepted. Envy. Do you know many people will never be angry that they are poor?

They are okay, they are managing, but the day God lift up their neighbor, they'll be angry. Because you leave my company. So you now be having money. How we go they take sit down, talk our. Because I saw it as the escape route. And somebody hearing me sing it all the time, they would think, oh, this man is so spiritual, he's waiting for the second coming of. No, I was waiting to escape poverty. Because deep down in my heart, I didn't know how to come out again. God told Cain, see, don't make mistakes, don't envy your brother. I didn't accept you because you dishonor me. Do what is right now. Because if you don't do what is right, he says sin is crouching where? At the door. Which door? The door of his heart. And what's the purpose of that? To control you. Because it's the heart that controls a man. See, anything you do spontaneously without thinking is directly from your heart. That's why when you are very, very angry and you begin to talk anyhow. After you say, I didn't mean it. Ish. My Bible tells me that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So I didn't mean it to. I just, I just talk, not be say, I mean it too. No, you are not aware you meant it, but you meant it. Because it came from your heart. That's why you have to keep your heart. And your people say, your word is like an egg, a raw egg. Once it falls and it breaks, you can't gather it whole again. Church. Not all men has faith. Not all men has one wrong word towards somebody can affect them for life. Am I talking to somebody? And they can keep using it against you because it's affecting them. God gave counsel to Cain. He despised it. After God's counsel, he allowed sin to control him. God said you can't control this sin. You can take charge. But he didn't. Dishonor wouldn't allow him to follow God's counsel. Listen, if your heart is corrupt, God's word will not make sense to you. Thirdly. He further dishonored God by responding to God rudely when God confronted him over what he did to his brother Abel. Where is Abel, your brother? I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper? Am I my brother's guardian? Talking to his creator. Why? Because of see, listen, you and I need a transformed heart.
