Prayers are not answered on the basis of sentiment. Every prayer has been answered in Christ and the answeres are received via the faith of Christ. However, the faith of Christ is only applicable to the promises available in God's word.

The ease teacher says by God to light up your word with the gospel of Christ. Open up your hearts and shine.
SPEAKER_04Glory, glory to God. There is something very vital that religion has weakened in the body of Christ. And that is the I won't just call it subject, but the practice of prayers. How many of us here this evening has at one time or the other felt or feel that do God answers prayers? I want it to be truthful. Perhaps you prayed over something and it looked as if the answers are not coming. And then you begin to question the effectiveness of prayers. That's very common. And she said she was very depressed because she has been going through some things. She said initially she didn't want to come. Said because it is still prayer that will tell us to pray. It's a prayer that somebody will pray and not get an answer. How many of us have felt like that before? God bless you. Thank you for being truthful. Then I think this teaching is for you and those who think they are strong, but they are not. Prayer is powerful. But if you don't understand how to pray and what it involves to pray, it will look as if when you pray you are wasting your time. We did some teachings on effective prayer recently, right? That's the last thing we did. I was telling my wife, I said, since Monday I wanted to assign the Bible study to someone to take. But there was no release in my heart. And I was just struggling with it, struggling with it, struggling with it. Until yesterday, I wasn't thinking about the issue of prayers again. But I was taking my bath and the Lord dropped something into my heart. And so we are going to teach on it today and next Thursday by the grace of God. So I will be ministering on teaching on what I've titled passwords to answered prayers. Next Thursday we'll be discussing the passwords, but today we'll be looking at foundational issues. To begin with, if you are going to receive answers to your prayers, you must understand that every prayer of a believer has been answered in Christ. Do you understand that? Every of your prayers have been answered. God answered you in Christ before you prayed. That's why we are laying the foundation today. And then next Thursday, we'll now look into the passwords. You know. My foreign bank account was disabled. The app on my phone was disabled. So I couldn't access the phone for some time, the app for some time. And they said I have two steps authentication, guinea guinea. So I now had to that they have to re-verify my identity. You know, they observed that it is other people that have been putting money in my in that account, not me. My own is to withdraw. So they suspected that something was wrong. So did they disable it? Only for me to try, try, try. And they said the only way is that my foreign phone number that they will send code to it. But that number does not roam. So it doesn't work here. So how will I? So it looks as if I will not be able to have access to that until I get to Canada. And their claim is this the two steps authentication is for security reasons to preserve the account. So understand this church. That even though all our prayers have been answered in Christ, the answers does not come to us automatically. There is a process. Every prayer of a believer has been answered where? In Christ. In fact, that is why every of our prayers must be based on the promises of God. And any prayer that is not based on God's promises will not be valid. It will not be what? It will not be valid. And because it's not valid, it will not attract any answer. What is it that invalidates our prayers? What is it that invalidates our prayers? Listen carefully. Any prayer that are not based on the promises of God cannot be done. Or let me put it in a better way. If your prayers are not based on God's word, you are not praying with the faith of Christ. The prayers that must be answered must be a prayer prayed by the faith of Christ. And if your prayers are not based on God's word or on God's promise, then just know that you are not praying by the faith of Christ. Let me explain to you. For us as believers, we pray in two ways. But only one way is valid. Only one way commands resort. The two ways are this. You either pray God's promises with the faith of Christ, or you pray your desires with your confidence in prayer. Do you know what it means? Some of us praise because we believe that prayer will be answered. Or that is the only option left for us. As a child of God, you can't go to a native doctor, you can't do some other stuff that unbelievers are doing. So make a prayer. Your confidence that prayers will work for you is what makes you pray. Not your understanding that this is what the word of God says, and when I pray it, it produces results. Do you get it? Most of us have faith in prayer, not faith in the word. Faith in prayer alone cannot make prayer delivered to you. Because your faith is not meant to be in prayer, your faith is meant to be in the word. Prayer is a process, the word is the life that guarantees answers to your prayers. And this is a challenge in the body of Christ. We pray, we cry, but as long as your prayers are not rooted in the word, you always doubt if the answer will come. In the book of James, chapter 5, look at verse 14 and 15. James chapter 5, verse 14 and 15 quickly. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. Now look at verse 15. And the prayer of what? Of faith will save. It is the prayer of faith that we what? We save. It's that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. The point is, it is the prayer of faith. So your prayers cannot be a prayer of faith if it is not based on the word. You are meant to pray because you have faith in the word. Listen, if you are a genuine student of God's word, when you meditate on God's word, not just read it. When you study God's word and meditate on it, you think on it. When an understanding comes from the word of God that you study, hear me. You will pray. If your prayer life is weak, your word intake is low. Because what provokes an attitude of prayers is your word level. The more the word of God becomes real to your heart, the more you are motivated to pray it. So if you are not motivated to pray, just know that you are not seeing the right picture in your heart. Your word level is very, very low. So most of the time, what we do is to wind ourselves. Hey, make I pray, oh, make I pray, oh, Pastor Semek will pray. You had somebody's testimony, how they prayed, and something happened. And you just see there, you'll be motivated to pray. But after some time, everything will come down because what will sustain the fire is not present in your heart. So that scripture, that verse 15 says, and the prayer of faith will save. It's a prayer of faith, and the prayer of faith will save. Now, you pray the prayer of faith when you see through the word, and the moment you see through the word, you believe that the word of God is true, you convert it to prayer. That is a prayer of faith because you are praying based on your understanding of God's word, not just because you have a need, but when your confidence is in prayer, not in the word, anytime there is a need, make I pray, make I pray, you want to pray. But the challenge is this there is nothing you anchor your prayer upon. A prayer without the right anchor, we sing. It can produce. So prayer is not just about making noise. Prayer is about understanding that what I want to pray about has already been answered in Christ. So the first job of a believer that truly desires to build a powerful prayer life is to study. The first job of a believer that genuinely wants to have an effective prayer life is to what? To study, so that you will not be praying off key. So that your prayer will not just be based on your emotions. So that your prayer will not just be based on your needs. I hope you are aware that Jesus said, before you ask, the Father already knows your needs. So if your prayers will be answered, like I said, it must be done with the faith of Christ. So the faith of Christ is activated by the revelation of God's word. The faith of Christ is what? Activated by the revelation of God's word. For example, look at um Deuteronomy chapter 7, verse 14. Deuteronomy chapter 7, verse 14. I just want to use this as an example. You shall be blessed above all peoples, there shall not be a male or female burning among you or among your lifestyle. He said, You shall be blessed above all peoples. Said there shall not be a man, no exemption. If you have studied your Bible very carefully, and you find out that women and men were barren for years, some of them till their very old age, but they ended up having their babies, except one person. Who was that person? Saw's daughter that was married to David, and why she mocked David when David was praising the Lord with a dance, she was the only person throughout the Bibles that died without having a child. Now, if the word of God says, You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be a male or female burning among you or among your livestock. There is a way you will think about this scripture that it will come alive in your heart in such a way that your mouth will. Begin to pray. Because it will flow from your heart. There is a revelation that will come out of it. There is an understanding that will come out of it, knowing that God is faithful and He cannot lie. You pray this until there is peace in your heart. That is the beginning of your answer. But you know, most of the time we have limited God because we consider our circumstances above what the word of God says. We pay attention to what is not working in us and around us above what the word of God says. We judge our situation more faithful than God's word. We trust in the abilities of our enemy and our situations to keep us where we are than in God's ability to do in our life what he has said he would do. So it is the prayer of faith that what that saves. So that suggests to me that as believers, you cannot genuinely receive answers to your prayers outside Christ. There is no answers to your prayers outside Christ. Because Christ is the fulfillment of all the promises of God. Christ is who? The fulfillment of all the promises of God. Second Corinthians chapter 1, verse 18 to 20 from Amplified. As surely as God is trustworthy. Can you see that? As surely as God is what? Trustworthy and faithful. And means what he says. Our speech and message to you have not been yes. That might mean no. So please get this in your heart. If you pray according to God's word, there is no room for no as an answer. No provision for no. No provision for what? No. If the answer is not coming when you think it should come, trust God's timing. Trust what? God's timing. Because see, when God answers you, he answers you perfectly. You know there are some answers. If you get it at the wrong time, the answer might become a curse. I hope you understand that. If you get it at the wrong time, it might be more than a problem to you than a solution. But God, who is all knowing, has a perfect timing for everything in our lives. Go back. Verse 19. Verse 19. For the Son of God, Christ Jesus the Messiah, who has been preached among you by us, by myself, Sylvanus and Timothy, was not. Jesus was not. So there is no provision for no when you pray according to God's word. No provision for no. But in him it is always the divine yes. It is always yes. Verse 20. For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their yes. That is answer. In who? In Christ. For this reason, we also utter the amen. So be it. To God through him in his person and by his agency to the glory of God. Now, if all the promises of God are fulfilled in Christ, then you cannot pray outside God's promises. That means you are praying outside Christ. It takes God's word alone to produce the answers to every prayer that you pray. When you know that all the promises of God have been fulfilled in Christ, listen carefully. When you know that all the promises of God have been fulfilled in Christ, we are meant to pray with our answers in mind. We are meant to pray with what? How do you pray with your answers in mind? The word, his promise is your answer. His word. Now, this was a promise then, but has been fulfilled in Christ. Because all, how many? All the promises of God has been fulfilled in him. Now, when you meditate on this and this word comes alive in your heart, you pray, seeing yourself as not being barren. There shall not be a male or female barren among you. Now, if that word has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus, it simply means for the man in Christ, for the woman in Christ, there is no barrenness. Then you pray from that viewpoint. If you are praying from that viewpoint, you are praying from the answer. But our challenge is this our focus most on the time is on the problem. So when we pray, we keep looking at the problem to see if the problem will change. So as long as the problem appears not to be changing, we feel our prayers has not been answered, not knowing that your answer is in the word. And who is the word? Christ. That's why listen, George, in this kingdom is all about faith. You have to accept what His Word says as the reality of your life for your prayers to be answered, for your prayers to be effective. Prayer changes things. Prayer does what? Changes things. Prayer changes people. But see, if the heart is dull towards the word, your prayer life will be very weak. That's why the devil attacks our mind to make us believe our case is special, is peculiar to us. Listen, this is not to be insensitive to your situation. But 1 Corinthians chapter 10, verse 13 tells me something very powerful, and I believe it. He said, There is no temptation. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man. You might be have been overtaken by a temptation, but it's not peculiar to you, it's common to man. What have I done? Now only me. No, no, no, no. Elijah taught like that. Said they'll kill all your prophets. I'm the only one that remains. God said, No. You are hallucinating. I have 7,000 men who have not bowed to bow. So there is no temptation that has overtaken you. Except such as is common to man. But God is what? Faithful. Who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. But with the temptation, will also do what? Make the way of escape that you may be able to be. So I know that no matter what I'm going through, there is a way of escape. So when I pray, I will not pray like a stranded man. I pray like the one who has a way of escape. Let me tell somebody by your side. You can't be stranded. You can't have it the way in you and be stranded. He said, Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and what? The life. So if the way dwells in you, you can't be stranded. Except you are not conscious of the way that is in you. There is a way out of that sickness. There is a way out of that stagnation. There is a way out of that lack. There is a way out of out of that frustration. You only need to search. You only need to what? Search. You know, church. Rise above the activities of this endomet generation. Everything. Now, now, now, now, now, now, now, now. So, if it is not happening now, it's not happening. See, faith is not just to receive from God. Faith is also about standing when it looks as if nothing is happening. Our faith is not just about I receive, I collect. Our faith is also about standing, trusting the Lord, knowing that he's faithful and he will never fail his word. He watches over his word to perform it. That's why. Can I say something to you? A proud person who is always conscious of other people's opinion about him or her can't receive much from God. You know, one of our greatest problems is what somebody is thinking about us. What puts us under pressure most of the time is that this person. In fact, I read better course now. But look at him. He has a good job. He is driving a good car. Me, we read engineering. Me, we read which one again? Messing. Study petrochemical chemical engineering. I know the chemical anything. Comparison is the thief of destiny. Listen, even if you and somebody came out from the same womb, your process in life will never be the same. You might be from the same father, the same mother. You are distinct. You are you are you are special. Am I talking to somebody? See, you are unique. So there is a way God wants to work things out. Oh. You see, when God, it is we that create uniform for ourselves. There is no uniformity in destiny. Everybody's destiny is unique. That's why they're so uniform. So that we all look alike. So that everybody goes, say we came from the same church or from the same family. But for God, what unifies us is his glory. But when it comes to the issue of destiny, we are unique. Okay, let me give you an instance. David became a king at thirty. He stepped into his destiny to be king over Israel. At what? Thirty. Joseph became a prime minister at what? At thirty. But when it came to the issue of our father in the faith, Abraham. What God promised it didn't begin until he was hundred. He got the promise at 75. I hope you know. Give me Genesis chapter 12, verse 1. Let me show you something. Genesis 12, 1. Genesis 12.1. This is not part of the message, but I would just wonder. Can we read the first sentence? Hold on. Harry, you are too forward. You say, and the Lord said to Abraham, is that what is written there? Now the Lord had said, so he had said to him before Genesis 12, but Abraham never acted on what the Lord said. Now the Lord had said to Abraham, most of us feel that it is in this chapter 12 that God said, get out of your country from your family, from your family, and from your father's house to a land that I will show you. God said it long before. But Abraham was comfortable staying under his father. God said, get out. He said, I don't know where to go. It's safer here. Married under his father. The next verse. So you see, listen, George. When we are talking about faith, it's not as if you are always getting it perfect. I will make you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. The next verse. The next verse. Quickly. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. I'm going somewhere. I want to show you something. So Abraham did what? As the Lord has spoken, he obeyed the word. But not when God said he should do it. But that did not abort his destiny. God has said nothing happened. Then eventually he meditated on it, thought about it, thought about it, thought about it. Only God knows for how many years. He made up his mind. And he departed. Look at verse 6. Abraham passed through the land to the place of Shechem as far as the Terebin three of Mori and the Canaanites were then in the land. The same person who didn't act on what the on what God said initially, the moment he meditated and meditated and thought about it, he stepped into the answer. He moved, he departed. Until he was hundred. That was when the fullness of God's promises for his life began to. One would have thought all the years he sat in his father's house that it was over. What about Moses? Moses was born and he was adopted into affluence. He was smuggled into the Egypt royal family. And he was adopted as the daughter, as a son of Pharaoh's daughter. So he enjoyed everything about reality. The Bible says he was vast in the wisdom of Egypt. Because he was educated, well educated, according to Egyptian standard. Yeah, God has an assignment for him. At 40, he attempted to step into it, but he missed it because the timing was wrong. So he has to run. Not out of fear, but out of faith. So when your focus is on God's word, and you pray according to his word, just know that God's word will always deliver to you. So for us, under the new covenant, all the promises of God has been fulfilled in Christ, and we are meant to pray with answer in mind and not focus on the problem, and not focus. On our wants or our needs. I want you to review your prayer life tonight. Why do you pray? Everybody is looking down on me. Everybody is mocking me. No, you are praying for the wrong reason. You are praying for what? For the wrong reason. Oh, God must bless me too. Listen, there are things I've had that It's very difficult for me to say publicly now. But in reality, it affects the feats of God's children negatively. It sounds good. For example, a statement like God will not rest. Until what? Blesses me. He has blessed you in Christ. Evasions 1 3. So we need to change our orientation. We need to see things differently. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who will bless us? Is it will? Oh. Maybe you are not among us that he's talking about. Who has what? Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places where? In Christ who has blessed us. Second Peter chapter chapter 1. Second Peter chapter 1. Verses 2 and 3. Grace and peace be multiplied to you. In the knowledge of God and of Jesus, our Lord. Grace and peace is multiplied when you grow in the knowledge of God and of Christ. Now, as what? As his divine power will give to us. Through what? The knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue. As his divine power has what? Given to us. Not having this understanding is the reason for our frustration. That's why we still tell God, arise. Arise, O Lord. Bless me. No, he's not sleeping. He's not willing, he's not weak. He finished the walk before you ever knew you have a need. Let's read from verse 1. Hebrews chapter 4. I'm just digressing into this to establish this in our heart. Because that's what I want us to see today. That our prayers have been answered. It's just for us to know how to receive answers to those prayers. For indeed, the gospel was preached to us as well as to them. But the word which they had did not profit them. Can you see? Not being mixed with faith in those who had it. Until the word is mixed with faith in your heart, that is when it will proceed out of your mouth as prayers. We believe, so we speak. The next verse. For we who have believed, do enter that rest. As he has said. So I swore in my wrath, they shall not enter my rest. Can we read the next statement together? One to go. Although the works were finished from the foundation of the world, God is always proactive, sir. God is not like us. That when somebody places a demand on you, you are now thinking, how do I solve this problem now? What do I do? What step do I take? You are now calculating. No, no, no, no, no. God declares the end from the beginning. He knew exactly what will happen. There is nothing that is happening on earth that is strange to him. There is nothing that is going on in your life that he's not aware of. That is why he knew that Adam and Eve will mess up in the garden. He made provision for redemption. If God could plan our redemption ahead of time, is it in my little life and your little life that he won't plan things ahead? What matters most is for us to agree with his plan and see through his eyes. And when we pray, we are praying from that perspective, we are praying from that understanding, not just praying, say, Oh Lord, see me, I'm suffering. No. God doesn't respond to emotion, He responds to your faith. So say when we pray, knowing that all the promises of God has been fulfilled in Christ, we are meant to pray with answers in mind. Pray from the place of answer. Let's see how this thing has been confirmed from the beginning. Let's look back into the life of Abraham. When God blessed Abraham in Genesis chapter 22, verse 17 and 18. Let's quickly read Genesis chapter 17. Verses Genesis 22, verses 17 and 18. Genesis 22, quickly. Bless you. That's God's word. Abraham. I will bless you. And multiplying, I will what? Multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sun which is on the seashore. And your descendants shall possess the gates of their enemies. Your descendants shall possess the gates. The next verse. In your what? In your what? Judge. I'm not hearing your voice. In your what? Seed. As of one. All the nations of the earth shall be blessed. Because you have obeyed my voice. In your seed. In your seed. Who is that seed? Because he said, It is in the seed of Abraham. All the nations of the earth shall be blessed. That is all answers. For all the nations of the earth will be deposited in that seed. The solutions to the issues of life in all the nations of the earth will be in that seed. Galatians chapter 3, verse 16 and 17. Now to Abraham and his what? Seed, capital letter S were the promises made. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. But as of one, unto your seed, who is what? Christ. And this I say that the law, which was 430 years later, that came 430 years later, cannot announce that covenant that was confirmed before by God in what? In who? In Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. So nothing has the capacity of making the promise of no effect because the promises are fulfilled in the seed. And that seed is Christ. So if I am in Christ, I'm also the seed. Or let me put it, I'm a seed. Christ the seed, I'm a seed in Christ. So the promises are for me. So when I pray, I pray from the promises that have been fulfilled. Can I say something to you? Are you aware that every time you open your bank up, you are praying to your bank to give you access to your money. Look at that. It's a kind of prayer. Because you are demanding. Okay, look at it. If your phone has face ID or fingerprints, they call them biometrics. You might not need to type your password. The biometric represents your ID. Is at the same time of typing your password. Is that true? And your biometric is unique to you alone. So, and because you have saved it on your phone, you press it and your app opens. You type in the account number you want to transfer money to. What happens after that? It will still ask you for your PIN number. That's a demand. You have access to your app. But you can't get the money until you place a demand. But you must satisfy the requirement of the bank for you to access it. It's a process, it's your money. But you cannot just say, okay, I just open it. I don't need anything to open it. I just put any amount and. And you can only make transfer within the limits of how much you have. Now, for you as a believer, how much you have is determined by the depth of revelation you have of Christ. You have everything. The Bible says, all things are yours. But why are you not having everything? You are limited in knowledge. Look at that second Peter chapter 3 again. Chapter 1, verse 3. Quickly. Quickly. As his divine power has given, he has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. But you can get them to how? Through the knowledge of him who called us by glory, not by shame. By glory, he called us by glory and virtue. He has given you all things, but you can only access it through knowledge. So when the knowledge comes, it translates to prayer. You speak it, you declare it in the place of prayer until there is a kind of peace that passes all understanding that this thing is settled. And you begin to give thanks. That's what differentiates us in this kingdom. What somebody is crying about, somebody doesn't see it as anything. Now let me let me give you a name. Somebody sometimes ago, somebody had a need of 150,000 and was crying. At that moment, the what thing they choked me was a need of about three million. And he was crying for 150,000. I was laughing. Many, many times his own. And he was already talking shame. This saying, now so then go take this grace and now so my own. Years ago, we had um a cooperative society in this church. And I stood as the garantor. And people collected money, choplated it, and they left the church. I didn't know, I thought they were paying until one day I saw policemen and bank officials at my gates. The landlord we bought this church land from just gave me a Mercedes E-class. So when they entered the company, say, see, wait till you go by with our money. One guy put in on uh road three. Obviously, he was a Catholic and he had issues with Pentecostal pastors. He looked and said, This Pentecostal pastor, they are thieves. There is no name, he didn't call me, sir. And I've not even known what I did. I said, Are you okay? What is my offense? Say, you are a thief. You took our money. You uh ah. If not, the police was there. Something was telling me, give him manual anointing. So that his brain can reset. Finally, they said, Um, Pastor, you took loan from the Agric and Cooperative Bank. I said, No, I didn't take loan. The cooperative took loan, but I guaranteed them. He said, Yes, now you take them now. That period they took me to court, but the church didn't know any money that came into my hand. Because the people, I told them my daughter in the church, our head of usher, being a police officer, I said, please not to arrest them, just help me threaten them small. Whether what they could took, they come and do you know he only caught, she only called some of them. I said, use your colleague because they know sin are you, use one of your colleagues to just threaten them small. So make them go pale. We are not saying we are arresting them just to threaten them. They went to town and said, uh, because we left Pastor Sonja's church in the arrass with police, and some began no call them any name, believed it that somebody will leave church, has not done anything, and pastor will be using police to arrest. But some people that have sense, uh-uh, you didn't do anything. Pastor will just now use police. You say we are just we sat down on our own and he gave us money to do business, and he didn't tell us we will pay back. There's nothing I've not seen. You know, I told myself, see, but listen, if I could forgive those people, there's nobody I can forgive again. Pastors were among go. I called one of the pastors, two of them. I called one of them. I said, Man of God, you promise me that you helped me to oversee this thing and ensure that this money is paid back. You know what he told me? He said, Man of God, God don't bless you. Help us pay him. Help us pay him. This thing has made me digress from my message. But you see, that was not the end of life. At a time they will call me on Saturday that we are coming. The Bank officials said they are coming on Sunday, that they will disrupt the service. And the last thing any good pastor will want was for somebody to come and disrupt. All the people that collected the money has left the church, remaining only one person. And that was the only person that stood by me. That was the only person that went to the court. He said, That day you won't go to court. I'll represent you. And you see, when you stand on God's word, help will always be available. That time we had a program on um RSTV, running on RSTV. The judge said he's an Anglican, but it's only my that he doesn't like Pentecostal pastors, that everything will like money. He said, but it's only my program that he watches. So when they read the charge, and the bank has gone to them that compelled these people, not only me, others were there too, that they we should pay off the money within one month. So when they mentioned my name, the man said this name is familiar. He said, Is the person bearing that name? He said, No. Who is representing it? The person represented him lifted up his hand and he said, See me in the chamber. He said, Is he your pastor? He said, Yes. Is he on REST TV? He said yes. He described me, said yes. He said, No, no, I won't be here and he will be disgraced. At the end of the day, when he gave judgment, he said, I should pay in one year instead of one month. He told the rest of you to pay in one month. Or he said I should pay in. But even that, as at that time, I'm talking about over 15 years ago. As at that time, that one year means I'll be paying average of 400 and something thousand every month. But I'm here. No problem will see your end. I don't know who I'm praying for. In the name of Jesus, no situation of life will see your end. In the name of Jesus, you will come out of it all. Do you know at the end of the day? The manager of the bank, the uh operation manager, in that Pastor Duque's office, one day they came. Because at a time I didn't know that I was paying there, also they were giving me false fake receipts. They were chocolating the money. Until I say I needed statement of account. How can I, the more I pay, the more the thing increases? Banks, many of them are thieves, so that's why, as much as you can, don't borrow money from them. Except for good business, and you have a good accountant that will help you do bank reconciliation to ensure they are not cheating you. They overcharge people. So they cannot issue me statement of account. I said, You have seen the good man in me now, the other side. Since you can't show me, my mother didn't give back to a fool. Since you can't show me statement of account, to know how I'm paid and what you listen in the name of Jesus, whatever you are going through now, as you agree with your strongest statement, you will see the end of that situation. That situation will not see your end in the name of Jesus. I said, I will resign and face you people. I said, I will resign temporarily as a pastor. So I go get to na time. Because I tried to be a godly person, and they were taking, I'm funny enough, make a note, we're online. A pastor was involved in the bank. But you know, also that time I was Moses' brother. I gave them fire for fire until the pastor who is a manager. I just saw that nobody was calling me again, they were not looking for me again. After about almost a year, they called me and they said they are coming to see me. I said, I don't want he said, Pastor, please hear us first. I love them. They came. So they entered the office, they brought out wine. Say, for everything we have done to you, forgive us. When you pray on God's word, it will always end in your favor. He said, Forgive us. The woman said I should lay hands on her. That she has been in uh university college, hospital. That they don't know what her problem is, and something is telling her that I am the problem. So I got up. I pretended as if I was angry. I said, So you brought wine to accuse me in my office. He said, No, Pastor, I'm not saying you are a problem like that. I said that I've offended you. And because you are not happy with me, that's what I'm going through. If you can just pray for me, I know the problem will be over. I said, Whatever you have done to me, go and repent. It will be over. Since that day, I've not seen anybody for about seven years now. The world is wicked. See, when you pray, pray from the answer. Pray from where? Let your focus be on what God's word says, not what anybody is doing to you, not what anybody is saying about you. Focus. Listen. If you focus on the problem, your brain, your mind will broaden the problem, will interpret it in such a way that you won't be able to handle it. And that's the reason for depression. That's the reason why people get discouraged. That's the reason they can't press on until their solution comes. Job said, All the days of my appointed time I will wait till my change comes. Let me conclude with this because Jesus confirmed something that all that will ever need are in him. In what you see, everything in the Bible has a message. You only need an understanding to see the message in every statement. Jesus confirmed that everything we'll ever need are in him. When he was talking to Nathaniel in John chapter 1, verse 47 to 51. Let's quickly read it before we round up. Jesus confirmed referencing the experience of Jacob. When Jacob saw when he was running away from home, and it got to a point he slept, putting his head on the stone, and had a dream that there was a ladder connecting from heaven. Let's read that place first. Genesis 28, verse 12 to 14. Then we'll come back to John chapter 1. I want you to follow it. Then he dreamed. And behold, a ladder was set up on the earth. And his top reached where? To heaven. And there the angels of God were ascending and descending on that ladder. Verse 13. And behold, the Lord stood above it and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham, your father, and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie, I will give to you and your descendants. Verse 14. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth. You shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south, and in you, and in what? Your seed. The same word God gave to Abraham, he said it to Jacob. And in your seed, all the families of the earth. So it is that seed that we have that same experience. So go back to John chapter 1, verse 47 to 51. Jesus saw Nathaniel coming towards him and said of him, Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit. Verse 48. Nathaniel said to him, How do you know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called you, when you are under the fig tree, I saw you. The next verse, Nathaniel answered and said to him, Rabbi, you are the son of God, you are the king of Israel. Uh huh. Jesus answered, Listen, and said to him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree. Do you believe you will see greater things than this? Look at what's that greater thing? And he said to him, Most assured I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open. And the angels of God ascending and descending upon the ladder? No, upon the Son of Man. So Jesus is the connector between the heaven and the earth. In the experience of Jacob, he saw a physical ladder, and angels who are descending, bringing things. So your answer is not coming from heaven. Your answers are coming from Christ, and Christ is in you. That is why when Jacob woke up, he said, This is better. That means the house of God, the temple of God. Now the house of God is you. So the connecting bridge between the house of God, which is you, and heaven, is Christ. So it says, you will see angels ascend and descend. So Jesus is so I'm not looking up unto the hill where my head cometh from again. That was under the old covenant. Now my help come from within. Colossians 1.27. Colossians 1.27. To them, God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles. Which is Christ in you. The hope. Your hope of glory. Christ in you is the answer to your health issues. Christ in you is the answer to every marital issue. Christ in you is the answer to your eternity. You see, next Thursday we will see the promise that carries other promises. The real promise that has other promises in it. We look at it. So when you are confident that in Christ you live, in him you move, in him you have your being or your existence. That means in answer I live, in answer I move, in answer I have my existence. So I'm not barring of answers to my prayer as long as I pray with my eyes on his promises and not my problems. Do you understand that? May the Lord give you a heart that understands. May the Lord quickens your heart and your mind right now to comprehend this truth in the name of Jesus Christ. You see, see your solution and not the problem. In the midnight prayers, 60 days midnight prayers, that Philippians chapter 2, from verse 9 to 11, I read that scripture, just those three verses throughout one night. That was about three weeks ago or two weeks ago. I read it through one night. I was just reading it. It's like I've never read it before. I was just reading it. And you see, when we call in the name of Jesus, we don't know what we are saying. Most of the time we are not saying it with understanding. And that's why it looks as if we call the name of Jesus. And you know what the devil has done to us? You know what? We have learned to play with that name. Any nonsense thing that happens, say Jesus Until familiarity has entered. When I hear, even when people say, God I better go, Jesus, I bet go. By God's grace, perhaps next month, we'll do teachings as God will permit on the efficacy of the name of Jesus. So that when you call that name, you won't be calling it as if you are plain. Look at that Philippians 2, verse 9 to 11. Therefore, God also has highly, highly exalted him and given him the name which is above every name. So if what you are going through has a name, there is a name above that name. When you pray with that understanding that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those in heaven and of those on earth, and of those where under the earth. It doesn't matter from which realm your problem is coming from, the name of Jesus is above them. They are subjected in all realms, powers in all realms are subjected to the name of Jesus. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. I want you to meditate on it. Some of you need to say, get meditate on it, on this until you see the reality of the power in the name of Jesus, and you put your hands upon your body and then say, in the name of Jesus, you sickness, leave my body now. Because you know the name of Jesus is above the name of that sickness. Whatsoever has a name is under your control. And there's nothing that doesn't have a name. For it, they must give you one nonsense. And some of them are directly from the devil. Am I talking to somebody? Imagine all this autoimmune disease. How can somebody wake up? They said, your immune is now misunderstanding your kidney, is now fighting your kidney. Somebody immune system that's supposed to protect the body from diseases, from sickness. They now said that same immune system is now fighting an organ in your body, mistaking it. That's from the devil. You've got to tell that devil, lose your hold over my body. Stop managing it. Lose your hold over. But for it to be effective, meditate on words like this and see that in the name of Jesus, everything that has a name must bow. In the name of Jesus, everything that has a name must bow. That's why I will tell you always that the spiritual problem is the easiest to solve because it submits to the lordship of Jesus. He said bad attitude is more difficult to solve, to correct, than demonic problem. Because you can rebuke demons and they will go. But you can't rebuke back bad attitude. You somebody who is cocky, who is arrogant and price, say in the name of Jesus, you cocky spirit. If the person is comfortable with being angry, the anger is not going to hear you because it's not a demonic activity. So the first thing you need to keep in mind if your prayers will be effective, if your prayers will be answered, see that you are praying from the place of answer. All your answers are in Christ, and you are in Christ. So sit down, meditate on what you have in Christ until it becomes real to you. Then get into praying. Lay hold on that word. Listen, whatever you are praying about, you don't have a scripture or a revelation of God's word that is behind that prayer. You are wasting your time. When they ask you this thing you are believing God for, which what are you standing on? Without thinking, you should be able to say this is it, this is it. Some will not just be uh a scripture, some is a concussion of scriptures. Concussion. You lay hands on something in Matthew, lay hands on some something in Revelation, lay hands on something, and you connect them together and it forms something powerful. He said, No, with this mighty weapon. Am I talking to somebody? Tell yourself I can't be ashamed. The thing you are making out, no, no, there is I know what my have believed. There's something I know that forbids shame. I can't stand on it and suffer shame. I told you which day, glory does not accommodate shame. I can't walk in glory and experience shame. See, if you package something to bring shame, my glory will convert it. For it makes all things work together for good, but them that love him for them who accord according to his purpose. Since I'm in line with what he expect of me, what the enemy meant for evil, we work together for my good. When you think I'm at the receiving end, hey cool temper things with turn. Am I talking to somebody? I said nobody will believe that was a money time this pastor. They don't know what they go to process. That's why you know what you are going to do. And when the glory begins to speak to somebody I might talk into somebody is not over for you. No matter how tough it has been, you are coming out of it. Because all your prayers are answered. Just break free from the dullness of heart. That is not allowing you to comprehend the truth of God's word. Neighbor, may God help you as he is helping me. Let's rise up on our feet. Abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to what? The power that works in who? From heaven, in you. Whatsoever have clogged my heart that blinds me from sin through the word of God. In the name of Jesus, let it be removed. Let my heart and my mind be circumcised afresh. Let my heart and my mind be circumcised afresh. Whatever has blinded me before now, in the name of Jesus, I command them removed. I command them removed. Let my eyes of understanding be open. That from today I see solutions through the word of God to every issue in my life. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. One prayer. Identify one issue in your life that have defied your natural abilities. Call it by its name and say, in the name of Jesus, I rebuke you. Out of my life now. In the name of Jesus. For God has highly exalted Jesus and has given him the name which is above every name. That in the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven, of things on earth, and of things under the earth. And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. What is that situation in your life? What is it that have harassed you that look as if it will not have an end? Command it in the name of Jesus. I command this situation, sickness. I command an end to you now. Leave my body now in the name of Jesus. Whatsoever is behind joblessness, whatsoever is behind delay in my promotion, whatsoever is behind rejection in my life, in the name of Jesus. Go now. I stop you in the name of Jesus. Lift up your voice, pray in the name of Jesus for that situation to end. Speak to that situation now. Miracles will happen. Miracles will happen. If you can speak in the name of Jesus, the power of Christ is activated in your favor. Whatever is not of God is a stranger in your life. Command them to go in the name of Jesus. Command them to go in the name of Jesus. Don't forget whatever you can manage, you cannot change. Stop managing that situation. It's time for your quantum leap. In the name of Jesus! Command the power of the enemy to be broken over your children! Over your parents! Command the power of the enemy to be broken! Over your penance, over your penance, over the bottom platelets to you now! In the name of Jesus! At the name of Jesus! Every knee should bow! At the name of Jesus! Every knee should bow! Rebuild that spirit of disobedience in your child! And command the spirit to leave that child alone now! Command every demonic influence over your husband, over your wife, over your children. Command some demonic influence to be broken down in the name of Jesus. Command every demonic influence that are contrary to your business, contrary to your finance. Command them to be broken now in the name of Jesus. Let all things begin to work in your favor. Let all things begin to work for your progress. Let all things begin to work for your advancement. You are fulfilling God's plan for your life. No more delay. No more delay. No more denier of the will of God for you. No more hindrance in your life and family. Nothing stops your manifestations anymore. Can you put your right hand upon your head? Father, you have highly exalted Jesus Christ our Lord. You have given him the name which is above every other name. That in the name of Jesus every name should be things in heaven, things on earth, and things under the earth. I hereby declare in the name of Jesus. Every power, every force working contrary to the will and purpose of God for your life. In the name of Jesus, I break their hold and their influences over your lives and families now in the name of Jesus. Every spirit laying claim to what is meant for you. In the name of Jesus, I break their hold over your fears now, in the name of Jesus. All the Father has ordained for you. In the name of Jesus, comes to you supernaturally from this moment, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, your portions will not be diverted, it will not be given to another. From this moment, whatsoever has been the web of afflictions around your life, whatsoever has been the web of depth, you have been entangled with. Tired from inside, by the energy of your spirit, whatsoever takes away your strength is removed from your bodies now, in the name of Jesus, your strength is restored, your energy is revived by the power of the spirit of God. For if the spirit of him that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, he that raised Christ from the dead will, by his spirit that dwells in you quickens your mortal body. Your mortal body comes alive. Every organs in your body comes alive in the name of Jesus. Every hormonal imbalance, I command them correct it now. I command them corrected now, in the name of Jesus. Father, thank you. Thank you, Father, because your word is forever settled in heaven, and because they are settled in heaven, they are settled in our lives. For we are seated together with Christ in the heavenly place. We sit where the word is settled, therefore, none of this word will fall to the ground. In the name of our Lord Jesus, thank you, dear Father, in Jesus' mighty name. Somebody say living amen to that. Please let's quickly give our offerings as we close this service.
