Looking at places like West Africa, this number is dreadfully lower - in the country of Togo, for example, that number is around 1 doctor per 10,000 people. With that kind of disparity, it’s obvious that medicine and healthcare are a critical human need in places like West Africa. Where does Christian missions fit into that story?
